I think part of Suga’s feelings about dancing is the amount of pain it had to give his shoulder before he had his surgery. He’s since said he’s started to enjoy it more recently. He even did an unnecessary intense choreography for Haegeum and was fucking amazing.
Ok, a pigeon of peace made me laugh. I’m keeping that in my back pocket for later use.
The fact that they were under the blazing sun and they were wearing black????? I can almost feel how hot it was just looking at them. Dry heat my ass.
Edited to add - you’re going to run into issues with any network thing whether it’s the US, South Korea, or Japan based. I honestly wouldn’t even try to post those on YT in the future. You’re all but guaranteed to run into an issue. It’s a shame because some of their network stuff is amazing.

Cool reaction! Suga once said (something to the effect of) even if he doesn’t like dancing, it doesn’t mean he can’t dance / is a bad dancer. I believe it was on American Hustle Life. He’s actually one of the decent dancers. He mostly kills it in the background. The ones who struggle are RM and Jin but they’re still better than most people who don’t dance professionally considering how hard their choreographies are. It’s a testament to how hard working they are.
I sometimes wonder if their height as an effect on their dancing.
They are all so talented! I admire there hard work and ability to be such good dancers 👏🏽
@@Jellybean0009 it can if u have bad trainers but big Hit have good trainers so its just the older u are the less u can move ur body. But Jin does pretty good job in some songs. He really puts in the work. And RM has improved a lot!

My favorite album is Map of the Soul 7! Keep in mind that Suga has dealt with shoulder pain for many years, and did say once that dancing to Black Swan was very painful for his shoulder. I believe after his successful surgery, he enjoys dancing much more now.💜
Luckily surgery was able to help aid with his discomfort it’s sad that he was involved in such an accident but he lived through it and is doing much much better ☺️

I think Suga is now very comfortable dancing. He has been practicing a lot because he says he loves dancing (remember he went with Hobi to many dance battles when trainees). His last choreos are fantastic.

Seeing jungkook’s high note live was crazy I got chills It was insane. Made me realize why he was the main vocalist of BTS.
BTS used Carl Jung's analytical psychology to write the lyrics and make the official MV. It talks about accepting our shadows, which are those repressed parts of us. We can only evolve when we truly accept these repressed parts of ourselves. That's why the lyrics say "leave me with my everything" Only when we accept everything that is part of us can we find peace.
By the way, the drums announce. the battle that will be faced... just as it was in the Middle Ages that soldiers were warned to prepare for battle with drums

We can’t help who our bias is. I’m just happy you appreciate all of them. JK is my bias, too, and this is the song that solidified it, day one. He caught my eye on “Run BTS” dance practice and then I watched this. I’ve always been super impressed y all of them, though, and getting to know more about them and their personalities is like a gift. If you have not watched Suga’s talk show, Suchwita, you should. It is really good. He has interviewed all members. Hope you watch them.
I think Suga is getting more comfortable with dancing. You should watch him in Psy’s song “That, That”… another reason to watch Suchwita is Suga and JK sing it together doing karaoke because JK is obsessed with that song.

I'm in shock no one recommended this. ARMY's super busy with Hobie is the only thing I can think of. sorry. This is before Suga had shoulder surgery. His shoulder is KILLING him. there are times in concerts he keeps his hand in his pocket. post surgery, post butter, he is amazing! Look at the first 2 songs of the Busan concert They all ate that stage. Not a crumb left.

What can I say, JK biases are just sexy. 😘 Jimin was my fav for so long, but JK snuck up on me (how can he not?) and I'm double-biased these days for both of em. Who says you can only have one bias, anyway? Busan bros for life, yo.
My favorite little detail from the kinetic manifesto film is the order in which the members all step away to give JK his solo moment. They are actually lined up from oldest to youngest, so starting with Jin, they peel off one by one until just the youngest remains.
I LOVE that in carpool karaoke, we got to see JK sing that part raw, with no autotune... and he did it flawlessly. And the other members are like, let's go JK! you're right, the hyungs are all super proud of him and love to show him off. Suga in particular will gush to anyone who will listen about how talented JK is. 😂

On kinetic manifesto film come prima is off BTS's map of the soul seven album release in February 2020. before their world tour was supposed to start in March 2020 but instead the COVID pandemic happened. On kinetic manifesto film was released when the album was released. but it was not the first video off the album! The first video was actually BTS's Black Swan art film which they did not star in. but it was a dance troupe from a country in Europe doing contemporary dancing! When the album was released as I stated the video, you're watching was released. technically it's not an official music video it's a performance video! a couple weeks after the ""ON"" official music video was released. A few weeks later the Black Swan official music video was released starring BTS.
37:45 I don't know if you've heard RM's Intro: Persona yet but it's a part of a rap line trilogy based on the Map Of The Soul shown in this explanation. The other parts of the trilogy are Suga's Interlude: Shadow and J-Hope's Outro: Ego. Each song represents an component of your personality. A fire trilogy! 🔥🔥🔥

I think they put a lot of effort and funds into the official music video but I find it so weird and spooky, I am so glad they decided to make the second video by the dam, because it is amazing.

It just occurred to me as I was watching your reaction - The drums and the boy in the MV could be a reference to the Christmas carol “The Little Drummer Boy”. It's about a drummer boy who is summoned by the Three Wise Men on the birth of Jesus Christ. He is poor and cannot offer a gift, so instead he gives all he can and plays his drum to his very best. This is a sentiment similar to the one BTS expressed in a previous song titled 'Anpanman'.
Interestingly, drummer boys was not a thing at that time. Drummer boys were during the Civil War in the late 19th century and 'The Little Drummer Boy' was written after that. Drums during the time of Christ existed as something known as a timbrel, that's why this story is not in the Bible.
I love that they share so much of their process too. Their work has so many elements to it and it's always so fascinating to explore all aspects of their artistry.

Damn, you hadn't been recommended this?! I think "ON" is the best shorthand to show people who the hell they are - music, message, choreo - killer.
So SUGA likes dancing, but he had an un treated shoulder injury up until he got surgery at the end of 2020. after that, you can tell he enjoys it more now. Don't get me wrong, dancing isn't his favorite thing, but he is embracing it now. He's been taking lessons and he chose to do a choreography for Haegeum, which he didn't have to do, but he knew ARMY's would like it. That was for his 2023 album release, and promotions. He talks about it too. He's okay with dancing now. and his shoulder doesn't hurt like it did, but I think he still has to do physical therapy.
J-Hope just dropped an album March 28, 2024, called HOPE ON THE STREET, it's an OST for his documentary that covers his dance journey. Same name. I'll link you a teaser and a highlight video. And JK did a collaboration with him.

Check out at 46:39 you can see where Jin's jacket is two-toned. It started out as black leather (maybe not not real leather?) when the director or art person decided there was too much black, and they literally spray painted the front (and just the front) of the jacket baby blue.

In regards to Suga dancing, I believe initially he did not want to dance, and then he had his shoulder injury for at least 8 years prior to surgery in which he would have to get shots just to be able to use for performances ( got so bad he could not hold anything in his hand). This mv was made in 2020 right before his surgery and until recently is considered one of the hardest choreo
I recently discovered that before BTS and being a trainee he like break dancing ( different name in Korea) back in high school. I think the rub was that Suga wastold he would not have to dance, also told RM the same thing. Suga was wanting to be a producer and rapper, not a dancer.

Also, currently before enlistment he took a hip hop class, and there is a mv of it. Also, did dance challenges before enlistment with other groups and BTS. I think now he might enjoy it.
Have you reacted to Psy That That, (Suga feat and produced). Pretty sure Psy would have not talked Suga in to performing in that mv if he didn't have skill. So I agree with you that Suga puts his heart into whatever he does, and he speaks about doing things that are for the good of BTS, no matter how he feels. Like Jin waited to enlist till winter (instead of summer/fall on the request of BTS, and Jin hates the cold weather).
Lastly, I am shocked no one told you of On:Kinetic Manifesto, it is so iconic. In the top 3 to some Army but at least top 5 (Run BTS, On, Mic Drop, Black Swan) I would think. Also, watch the Jimmy Fallon, Grand Central Station one. It had been taken down for more than 6 months , the mv just showed up today, FYI. Blessings

Suga was a b-boy in his youth. He loves dance. The prob is his shoulder injury held him back. He spent years in pain. Like really terrible pain until he had his surgery in 2020. Like they advised him to do the surgery as soon as the agency learned of the injury which was late already but Suga declined. And doing yrs of choreo of course he injured his bad shoulder more. His such a stubborn fool sometimes, sigh. I love him. he my wrecker for a reason. But damn, it hurts me how much pain he dealt with from 2013-2020. Like dang. If u watch him dance now he is way better. There is no pain no more. And when the guys come back Hobi will give them hell and whip them back into top tier shape for comeback. If Shinee an almost 16 yo group can slay so can BTS. =0}

Jimin ult bias, Suga wrecker, OT7. This is the performance MV and there is one more for this song plus a live in NYC. So glad u saw the original MV. Hope u check out the live in NYC and the dance practice for this song. It's interesting to see all the versions especially because American artists don't really do this. =0p This one has my fav production. The droid shots are so cool. And yes so happy u checked out the behind the scenes. They have them for all their title tracks i think. This song was a collab with an LA dance crew called The Lab & UCLA band. Sienna Lalau from The Lab choreographed this she was 19yo at the time. She has a YT. Her crew won World of Dance season 2. They are great! I listen to techno, pop, R&B, soul, country, etc. They mix the sound and it sounds great. And yeah they all give us good vibes thus we love and support them. Life Goes ON is a great song written during pandemic from their album BE if u want to switch up. Have you heard Stay Alive it's a OST from their webtoon called 7 Fates Chakho. PDOGG is one of the main in-house producers for BTS, you will see his name a lot in the credits since the very beginning

Fun fact: during the dance break that's the beat Suga created back in 2013, sampled from "Man From No where " OST. There is a Bangtan Bomb episode of him making it and showing ARMY the basic features on the beat machine he used.💜

i don't think that's true, the drum pattern is similar but not the same buuut on the other hand the beat he created on that bangtan bomb turned out to be "The Last" from his first mixtape that he released years later.

These are representative works from his earliest songs to the most recent ones, in chronological order. All of them have official music videos!

I love deep dives into BTS songs. I hope there will be more (we don't mind long episodes). BTS provides us with a lot of content for their songs (behind the scenes, dance practice, live performances), but ARMY is also creative in their theories and capturing details.
A deep dive is definitely needed in Spring Day to understand the depth and phenomenon of this song and I recommend watching the explanation of the music video Yet to come (mv from the series "how many references to other music videos can you find?" czcams.com/video/4D5fbEBcCNM/video.htmlsi=hH8kH6_t5AP77VWk ). But equally interesting is the explanation of the songs Daeng, Spine Breaker, Blood, Sweat & Tears and the whole concept of Map of the Soul and others. XCeleste explains some of the theories nicely. If you react to Hobi's album make sure to break in up. 2-3 songs per video and you shouldn't get copyrighted . 💜

Here we go again CZcams didn't let you post BTS video. I just looked in your description where the hell is the text of the fair use clause of the copyright laws it's supposed to be in your description. It sounds to me like they didn't let you post it so you didn't chop it up or out mute the sound put different music in it darken the video make it appear and disappear plaster copyright issue on top of it or some other fubar words. Who just gave up and didn't posted on CZcams at all because you don't know anything about the copyright law that protects you the post videos on CZcams under certain circumstances! Under the third use clause you are protected the post videos on CZcams for purposes of education information critique everything that a reaction video is! So what you were saying is that your video was blocked so you could have disputed it under the fair use clause the copyright laws and the parameters within it! Next to go to found out how long your video was blocked on CZcams they're not permanent they expire just wait until block expires then put the video on CZcams completely attacked not altered in any way there's so many of these channels on CZcams that don't know what they're doing they don't know about the fair use clause of the copyright laws they don't know that blocks are not permanent they don't know they can wait until block expires then put the video on CZcams.
