30:00 is the exact reason why you don’t have to feel so pressed to have a favorite most of ARMY is OT7 (One True 7/Only The 7) some of us may have a Bias mine is Jimin and a Bias Wrecker mine is Jungook, HOWEVER I still see the contributions ALL the members make for BTS like as hard as I fan out for Jimin and JK is how hard I go for Jin, V, Suga, RM & J-Hope. I much rather them together as a group that can release solo music as opposed to the group disbanding and all being solo artists. I love them all together I love what they stand for and what they represent I love their message and how they love each other and their fan base and it all just makes sense. Off of listening to one song and then doing the guide there’s no rush to have a favorite. Listen to more music watch more music videos watch more live performances from their concerts or award shows. Watch their shows like RUN BTS & In The Soop to get to know them and their personalities more. As time goes on and you get to know them you may have a bias or you may be OT7 or like me OT7 with biases. But please don’t think you HAVE to have a favorite

The names of the solo songs and albums were on the screen in the Guide. I know it's a lot, but you may want to watch it again and spend time reading the captions and the side words and pictures. I had to watch this guide at least three times, pause a lot, and write some of it down. 😂Also like others have said you don't have to pick a favorite 🙂. V or tae, he started learning trumpet i think 3 years ago but we don't know if he continued it.. bcs we saw a video of him playing sax and he said he's gonna stick to the sax 😭.. bcs he learned sax when he was in middle school but stopped bcs bts music was different and he didn't even had time too.. but he started again so if you want to see him play sax you need to checkout "slow dancing live session" it's amazing 💜
The biggest hint I can give you right now since you're brand new to BTS is to let ARMY guide you. Army will help guide you through the BTS rabbit hole. Because of the connection to their storyline there are some songs you won't be ready for yet because the videos will simply confuse you until you know a little more. Another spectacular guide which will cover some of the same information but give you new information as well is from the channel Rice Squad it's called The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS. Be sure to watch the 2023 update version. Can't wait to watch you guys react to that.
I think most ARMY (Adorable Representative MC for Youth) would agree with me that you do NOT have to have a favorite! Most of us are OT7 (One True 7), so you'd be in good company. :) Some K-pop 101 for you (and apologies in advance for the long comment, and please, anyone should feel free to correct me): Throughout the history of K-pop, there have been generally 4 specialties or categories or roles within a group: vocalist, rapper, dancer, and/or visual. (Yes, "visual"; it's a thing in K-pop. It's best to just accept it as a fact.) :) And each of the members in each of the roles are referred to as the "line" (e.g., rap line, vocal line, etc.). So, in BTS, the lines are (names listed oldest to youngest): -- rap line = Yoongi (SUGA aka Agust D), Hoseok (j-hope), and Namjoon (RM) -- vocal line = Seokjin (Jin), Jimin, Taehyung (V), and Jung Kook -- dance line = Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jung Kook -- visual line = Seokjin (I believe he's the only "official" visual in BTS) Within each of these roles are sub-roles: -- main = the primary holder of this role (e.g., Jung Kook is the main vocalist, Hoseok and Jimin are the main dancers, etc.) -- lead = the next level just below main (e.g., Jung Kook is a lead dancer, etc.) And then, outside of these 4 roles, there are other functional roles. For example, Namjoon (RM) is the leader of BTS. As Taylor's video stated, he functions as the point of contact between the members and the company (HYBE), as well as between the members themselves. A group's leader also often takes the lead in interviews, or in helping develop the concept of an album, etc. And BTS also has a dance leader -- Hoseok. Not all groups have this role, but again, as Taylor's video stated, BTS has greatly benefited from Hoseok's leadership in keeping their performances tight and at an unmatched level. All of this being said, the current generation of K-pop (i.e., the 4th generation) has largely blurred the lines between these traditional roles. Many groups have eliminated them altogether (e.g., Tomorrow x Together, also under HYBE) -- with the exception of a leader. I think it's probably because it's more efficient to have a single point of contact to work with the company, rather than trying to gather everyone's input and collating it into a final decision or understanding. Love watching you fall in love with BTS!!! I am an older ARMY (64 years)! BTS has fans of all ages. They also do solo work. Right now they are on a break because they have to perform 18 months of required military service in their country. They plan to reunite in 2025. We are all waiting!!!! (If Suga is your favorite, check out his solo trilogy...Daechwita, Haeguem, and Amygdala. Beautiful work, strong words, incomparable style.

Like everyone says you don’t have to pick a favorite but if you’re like me you’ll find one that you relate to on a different level based on what you learn about them as people. Suga is my ultimate bias because i relate to his story and his mental struggles so much it’s scary and i feel it in my soul what his lyrics portray, even his personality is very similar to mine. Learn about the people they are and you’ll find someone similar to you or continue to just love them all equally and appreciate them for who they are and what they do. Enjoy the journey!! Bts all lived together from 2011, 2012-2021, today the have there own apartment or house 3 5 off theme live close to eatchother, but the hang out together beacuse the are friends and family, Suga has a show called Suchiwita where he invite peope and also have invited all members one by one, Suga have just enlist, and Jin and J-hope are also in the army now

You don't need to worry about having a favorite, in the end you end up loving them all, you may identify with one in particular, that's normal. My all kpop utt(the favorite of all your biases in all of kpop) is JIMIN but I always say that my bts bias is the 7 because I can't choose just one. But yes I have my special feeling for JIMIN. 💜

Side Note: Taylor is actually making a follow-up to this, from June 2022 until "now" - whenever "now" may be by the time she finishes it/gets it uploaded. I can't wait!! P.S. Yes, Run BTS is freakin' hilarious! However, it depends on YOUR type of humor. Most episodes are "stand alone", but they do have a few that have 2 or 3 parts. They do ALL sorts of games and challenges. However, they also have some where they learn things, too (several cooking episodes - classic Korean, pasta dishes, and others - they did a pottery class, etc.). Each IS funny in its own right, but depending on what you find funny, of course, some episodes are "better" than others. I am part fish - I LOVE the water - so my favorites are generally any time they do water sports. Also when they play mafia-style games (figure out who the "spy" is), they get RUTHLESS...and sneaky...so those are hilarious to me, too. The funniest part is when they play for money or gift cards. The conversion rate, though is...well, 5,000 Won is...a grand total of $3.70 USD...that they sometimes almost kill each other for. So, yep, a group of 7, adult, millionaires...fighting over *less* than $4. LMAO I would suggest starting at the beginning but since they are generally individual episodes, you can really just type in any of them. "Run BTS, ep. X, Eng Sub" (Just replace that X with a number from 1 to 166...the first episode aired in August of 2015, their last episode aired just this past Feb.) If you start from the beginning, you can really "watch them grow up"...them AND their production as they originally started basically in a plain, boring, white room, but the rooms, props - and more - got better as they got more popular and they could afford to "splurge" a little.

I love your reaction to our wonderful men of BTS. I would like to recommend what I think are underrated songs: Let Me Know, Heartbeat, House of Cards, and Lights. For upbeat dancing, I recommend Danger, Not Today, Bulletproof Pt. 2, Black Swan, Blood Sweat and Tears just to name a few. I think you would really enjoy the BTS Universe Story. Older ARMY'S are the ones to know which songs and what order to listen to.
I love all the members, but J-Hope is my ult bias of all time, even out of all the other many kpop groups I stan. I think it's because J-Hope reminds me of a male version of myself personality wise.
I also need y’all to know y’all can pause to read the subtitles we as ARMY much prefer that so you can catch everything and not miss anything. You need to read the regular subtitles but also the subtitles from when BTS are talking because it lets you know soooo much about THEM.

Btw he said he's sticking with the sax cuz he used to play it when he was in middle school but he stopped because BTS music was so different (hip hop) and he didn't have the time to practice it anymore. 54 year old ARMY here. Jimin is my bias, and RM is my bias wrecker. But that didn’t keep me from fighting the sharks in Ticketmaster to get tickets for Suga/Agust D’s D-Day concert tour in Los Angeles last May. And I had to fly 5 hours to get there. The D-Day album is fire! We may have our biases, but we support them all. 💜

I think it's probably because it's more efficient to have a single point of contact to work with the company, rather than trying to gather everyone's input and collating it into a final decision or understanding. Right now they are on a break because they have to perform 18 months of required military service in their country. They plan to reunite in 2025. We are all waiting!!!! Like everyone says you don’t have to pick a favorite but if you’re like me you’ll find one that you relate to on a different level based on what you learn about them as people. Suga is my ultimate bias because i relate to his story and his mental struggles so much it’s scary and i feel it in my soul what his lyrics portray, even his personality is very similar to mine. Learn about the people they are and you’ll find someone similar to you or continue to just love them all equally and appreciate them for who they are and what they do. Enjoy the journey!! Bts all lived together from 2011, 2012-2021, today the have there own apartment or house 3 5 off theme live close to eatchother, but the hang out together beacuse the are friends and family, Suga has a show called Suchiwita where he invite peope and also have invited all members one by one, Suga have just enlist, and Jin and J-hope are also in the army now

P.S. Yes, Run BTS is freakin' hilarious! However, it depends on YOUR type of humor. Most episodes are "stand alone", but they do have a few that have 2 or 3 parts. They do ALL sorts of games and challenges. However, they also have some where they learn things, too (several cooking episodes - classic Korean, pasta dishes, and others - they did a pottery class, etc.). Each IS funny in its own right, but depending on what you find funny, of course, some episodes are "better" than others. I am part fish - I LOVE the water - so my favorites are generally any time they do water sports. Also when they play mafia-style games (figure out who the "spy" is), they get RUTHLESS...and sneaky...so those are hilarious to me, too. The funniest part is when they play for money or gift cards. The conversion rate, though is...well, 5,000 Won is...a grand total of $3.70 USD...that they sometimes almost kill each other for. So, yep, a group of 7, adult, millionaires...fighting over *less* than $4. LMAO I would suggest starting at the beginning but since they are generally individual episodes, you can really just type in any of them. "Run BTS, ep. X, Eng Sub" (Just replace that X with a number from 1 to 166...the first episode aired in August of 2015, their last episode aired just this past Feb.) If you start from the beginning, you can really "watch them grow up"...them AND their production as they originally started basically in a plain, boring, white room, but the rooms, props - and more - got better as they got more popular and they could afford to "splurge" a little.

For upbeat dancing, I recommend Danger, Not Today, Bulletproof Pt. 2, Black Swan, Blood Sweat and Tears just to name a few.
I think you would really enjoy the BTS Universe Story. Older ARMY'S are the ones to know which songs and what order to listen to.
I love all the members, but J-Hope is my ult bias of all time, even out of all the other many kpop groups I stan. I think it's because J-Hope reminds me of a male version of myself personality wise.
I also need y’all to know y’all can pause to read the subtitles we as ARMY much prefer that so you can catch everything and not miss anything. You need to read the regular subtitles but also the subtitles from when BTS are talking because it lets you know soooo much about THEM.

54 year old ARMY here. Jimin is my bias, and RM is my bias wrecker. But that didn’t keep me from fighting the sharks in Ticketmaster to get tickets for Suga/Agust D’s D-Day concert tour in Los Angeles last May. And I had to fly 5 hours to get there. The D-Day album is fire! We may have our biases, but we support them all. 💜

If you think about it a staycation costs alot less than most promotion budgets. Many things BTS pioneered have become industry norms now.
Highly recommend watching Run BTS as it helps you fall that much more in love with the guys. You get to see just how hilarious, relatable and smart they are. Seeing the “blood brothers” throwing each other under the bus for a snack should not be missed in your lifetime. Lol. I mean I’m kidding……sort of. 😂

Suga is my bias and jhope is my bias wrecker, but I support all of the boys. They're amazing and the group just exist because they're 7. Not 6 or 8 but 7 ... I choose them because of their personalities... Suga it's the male version of me in everything...
