It's the fact that Klause just poured his heart out to him and all he could do was look at Freya. That makes it so much more heartbreaking.
fr
Mikael actually reaches out to him as he’s burning- mikael realised what he had done too late
Yeah but in his last moments he tried to reach out towards Klaus. So there was a part of mikael that loved him.
I know why. He took his anger out on a child. Over and over. It’s a wonder Klaus was able to function in any capacity. There is NO excuse for what he did to Klaus.
Exactly. He was pissed at his wife. For her affair with another man. He was never able to forgive the woman he loved. Nor could he get even with Klaus biological father. So all that anger, hatred building inside him found an innocent defenseless kid to take it all out. Klaus was *The living reminder* of his wife's betrayal. He was too weak to forgive or to get it out like a grown man by talking, by yelling or worse punishing the real culprit. He wasn't leaving the woman who wronged him. So projected his anger and his hatred to Klaus because he was a weak man. Mickael couldn't face his true feelings.
@@sana5762 he hated Klaus before he found out about his truth parentage.
@@nomadhakunamatata5793 I’m rusty on the events but didn’t he hate Klaus in the beginning because he was weak (because of the charm his mom made him ware)?
@@SaucyMuffins that's the truth
Ifc there is an excuse more than a reason he did cuz lkaus wasn't his son nobody
Wants to take care of a child tat was born out of cheating
Crazy how klaus was the kindest child before everything that happened to him
the nicest people are usually the ones struggling the most and have the farthest to fall.
Go Md go mmh go mmh go mmh go NBC go❤
Goes to show people arent always born evil they have to pretend to survive
So true ❤❤❤❤
Villains aren’t born, they are created…
This entire scene was shattering. For the child to pay for the sins of the mother 😭💔 There was not enough torture in the world for Mikael and Esther. They could have at least just given Klaus to his real father
Esther treated them good and told Mikael to stop being like that so she was good
@@Itzkayla007 she ignored it multiple times...she married the one that killed her whole village and made her sister suffer and had the audacity to have children with him. She has a good side, but she's most of the time a selfish bitch🤐
@@Itzkayla007 Esther was not good! She was horrible from the beginning.
1. She saw her sister being treated horribly by their capturers and being forced to do a lot of bad stuff just so Esther wouldn’t have to be subjected to that harsh treatment and how does Esther repay dahlia? By falling in love with one of them enemies and leaving her sister behind. Then she dares to go to dahlia for help and get mad at dahlia for granting her wish but putting a price on it when Esther could’ve help herself if she didn’t stop practicing 🤦🏽♀️
2. Esther knew her husband was being distant to her so instead of leaving him she decides to have an affair and have a child from that affair! Cheating is not right regardless of circumstance. Then she lied and withheld this information from both child and husband. And willingly made her child weak knowing how her husband is a Viking and values strength!
3. After turning her kids into vampires she then talks of her distaste towards them and calls them abominations and verbally abuses them for centuries! Torturing them for centuries blaming them for what they’d become when it was her fault in the first place! Then she tries to make everything good by trying to turn the mortal in which she failed to understand that “you cannot undo what’s already Been done”
So in conclusion Esther was definitely the villain and not a good person!!
But she still keeps trying to kipp them all😢
She also wanted baby Hope dead, and innocent baby. Never forget that
"He's done a damage only a father could do" 😢
He said sorry to her but not him so that’s probably why he did it 😭😭😭😭
THE FACT THAT HE APOLOGIZED TO FREYA NOT TO KLAUS. Not to the person he beat to the point of nearly dying. I don't often root for character deaths, but I take no small amount of consolation in a world, fictional or no, that has Mikael ejected from it.
@@elisabethjames1870I agree
That's exactly why he did it
He was gonna say he love her lol that's why he did it before he could get it out
Can we all agree that Esther was the source of all the pain and suffering?
Debateable, I think it was a combination of both
The way he says, sorry to Freya but not Klaus 😭😭😭😭

Freya was the only child that Mikael loved unconditionally.
@@markussokk2847 I know it’s so sad I feel bad for his kids
The way he rolled his eyes hurt my heart ♥. LIKE your last words has to be to a girl u only knew for only 5 years.
U men his daughter lol the youngest also tf dude, hope u dnt have a little princess and think that way
@@sourpatch295she's the oldest child
Ok oldest youngest idc tbh move on with your life
@@sourpatch295bro they are right even tho that’s his daughter he hasn’t harmed or wronged her and he only knew her for 5 years klaus he knew all his life and he has wronged and harmed him at any chance he got it’s about which person he should have prioritised first about who he should have apologised to the most and them thinking that way won’t in any affect how good of a parent they will/might become to their future daughter
Those 5 years with his daughter Freya and son Finn was everything to him tho. They were a happy family before Dahlia took Freya and Mikael coming home from war was made to believe his daughter died because of the plague. Her death broke and change him. Losing her was literally the first step as to why he is what he is now. Second reason, Henrik's death. Third reason, realizing Nik wasn't his son and his wife betrayed him having an affair with a werewolf. Losing three children with one a result of a betrayal? Man I'd be mad as well.
He punished him instead and wanted him to feel what he felt about himself after Esther cheated on him. This scene was the beginning of a possible road where mikael could of looked within himself and ask himself why he hated Klaus if he wasn’t at fault for his mothers sins
This COULD have been the start of a redeption arc, seriously. You could see it in Klaus's eyes. He was genuinly willing to forgive his Father, and he WOULD have forgave his mother but she went for his daughter. It was over for her after that.
Nah I'm sorry but Klaus would have forgiven him but he would have still killed him......Klaus needed the viking ashes to save his daughter. Michael was dying by his hands regardless at this point but why not get some closure.....and Michael was/is cruel l, he was cruel to Klaus because he wanted a Warrior son, he saw this in Klaus but after Esther sealed his strength unknown to anyone even Michael, that's why he pushed and pushed but Klaus didnt performed..
Ironically..he wasn't his.....Now if he truly hated Klaus he would have killed him but he sealed the only part that wasn't his, the wolf,....it's only after Klaus killed his mother and turned all of his children against him, didn't he finally decided to kill Klaus.. why else would he spared the others but not Klaus...why did the fair their father, not like if he wanted all of them dead.
@@johnathanalleyne7607but he would kill them to get to Klaus.
I think in a way he was punishing himself through klaus..cause klaus looked like him and he was so selfish instead of taking it out on his wife and himself he took it out on klaus
@@a.k.aemperor2365 very true and was too proud to admit it. Like when Cami told him about therapy and tried to tell him that he was blaming the wrong person and he found excuses to not do it and said it was for the weak. Partly has to do with his upbringing as a Viking too
At least he could've said sorry to Klaus instead of Freya.. You can see how Klaus is hirt when he says Freya's name..
Klaus is so heartbroken 😢
Klaus is the best example of "villains are not born, they are made" !
I feel so bad for klaus for all of the thing mikael put klaus through even if it wasn’t his fault but my heart shatter when i saw freya breaking down cause she didn’t know what her father did to her siblings she only knew mikeal as a father not a monster and for her to se her dad again and then be killed is heartbreaking 😢❤
Klaus is soo heartbreaking in this like he poured all his feelings which he had been trying to know 😭😭😭💔💔 he wanted to know and still this Mikael didn't apologize to him for what he did to him
How he proudly says I'm Klaus Mikaelson
The expression of klause at "I want to know why" was the absolute paragon of cinematic geniosity.
I can feel the pain u know.. it hurts me .. it truly does!!!!
I love how you can see Mikael knows he wronged Klaus.
Even if he doesn't apologize, even if he hates what Klaus is.
You can see in his eyes and response, that maybe he wished it was different, but too proud to admit.
This scene made me cry!😭 Klaus was so heartbroken in this scene. He really wants to know, why Mikael was to him like that.💔
A father should never treat his son like that
My father does and i don't know what to do about it
Not his son
The fact that he apologised to freya and not claus killed me 😭
All Klaus want is to have a father and feel the love of a father 🥺😭
He's done a damage only a father can do 😔
Joseph was phenomenal and how upsetting that is bc in real live there is a lot of such parents like Michael
My dad was alot like him it's why I relate so much to klaus and love his character
It’s amazing because Klaus simultaneously cuts Mikael off to pierce his heart as he just pierced Klaus’ emotionally
I really missed the show
When he said sorry to Freya you can see the heart break in Klaus eyes. Like all the bad crap his dad did to him as a child and he couldn't even answer why he did it or apologize. I'm glad Klaus is a way better father than his own was
He hv done so fkinggg much that we was ashamed of say even sorry at his final moments thats how he felt...its not rocket science its ez to understand
those were the moments that made Klaus a beast he was so afraid of his family not loving him
this was the only man Klaus wanted approval from and he failed him as a father
It’s just because of love
This scene was so emotional
I cry with him😭
Now i feel like watching the originals all over again ❤❤❤
The acting.... my goodness the acting was on point. I think this is why Klaus was the most likable "villian" of any show I've EVER seen. This character just wanted to be loved but was hated and feared by so many he became a version of evil to protect his own heart. Amazing acting Joseph Morgan!!!
All Micheal had to do was apologize to Klaus and admit he took out his anger for Esther on him. Instead he tells Klaus he just hated him for basically no reason and told Freya he loved her.. the character depth of Klaus is one of the best ever. I remember being 12 years old seeing Klaus in season 2 of TVD and thinking he was just evil, now I know he wasn’t born evil, he’s a product of Micheal’s cruelty. Glad Klaus was redeemed by Hope❤️
The guy was damaged by his dad. The one person whose approval he sought for centeries
Seeing Klaus cry is heartbreaking😭😭
No man is born as a villain, it’s the people they love who turn them one.
The voice break when klaus said "you despised me didn’t you" i felt it in my heart
This scene make mi cry😢
Klaus was so very hurt 😭😭😭😭and he kept on seeing Mikael as his father 😭😭so heartbreaking 😭😭
I felt so bad for Klaus he's my fav.
The character that we all love, Klaus. the amount of times he gets hurts 💔😭 Please his family , his love 💔😭
The way Michael looked at Niklaus's eyes was very touching. I think this was the second time a I'vs ever seen him sad or happy
Klaus is nothing than a broken child who didn't get much love.
What i love most about Klaus is he's tough but he doesn't keep it inside, if he wants to cry my bro is gonna cry
I haven’t even seen this series yet and that scene was WOW.
" THERE WERE MOMENTS WHEN ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS BE MY FATHER " 😓😓
The fact that he was killing him for the second time, he was still contemplating on how he gonna kill him in the afterlife too
when they are you someone who you’re supposed to love and care for and do anything to make them feel better someone who you call father hates you so much . I know how that feels
Thank you for the likes. I hope this helps everyone remember it’s not your fault. You are perfect. It’s their fault.
Poor Klaus he was only achild & have to go through all that
Its so sad his own dad.Always & Forever The Mikalsons.X💋💋👅
“ he’s done a damage only a farther can do “
He treated him that way cause he hated himself. Seeing klaus as everything he can never be in life, all the love he couldn’t have.
Becoming a dad was the journey for Klaus. Realizing there was a time before anyone knew he wasn't his dad. Klaus was right with what he said here. And the first and only time Michael was honest with him.
That's so messed up Mikeal didn't even have a reason for disliking klaus. Klaus ur better off without him an ur a way mu h better daddy U treated hope with so much h Love
Such sadness coming from the voice of Niklaus
People wonder why Klaus is the way he is,, MIKPeople wonder why Klaus is the way he is,, MIKEAL is WHY he is the way he is. Abso-fucking-lutley heartbreaking 💔😢
Yep
only one word --> ESTHER
@@kingkuuntaa3885 RIGHT! She goes and cheats with a WAREWOLF!! Then makes them VAMPIRES KNOWING she cheated and then she goes and gets mad because they are feeding cause they ARE VAMPIRES!! Lol. Then Mikael knows that shit ain't Klaus' fault that he is not his. Like he asked for the shit or something. It is BOTH Mikael and Esthers fault. Her for cheating and keeping it a secret and the Mikael for taking that shit out on Klaus and then Esther LETS him take it out on Klaus when she was a MF ORIGINAL withch and could have protected him!!!
Yet the same people hate Marcel for the way he acted against Klaus... Klaus has to be forgiven for all the bad he has done because it is Mikael s fault but Marcel has to be crucified .... double standards
Mikael really messed him up for real though
The truly villain is their mother .
Nope it’s definitely the father Esther really cared
Mikael totally deserved it! I mean, even in his final moments he couldn't apologize to Klaus, and instead he says his last words to her favorite daughter, knowing that maybe a sincere apology and some promises to the son he mistreated so much could've spared him a little longer
Michael apologizing to Freya and that he loved her right as Klaus was having a vulnerable moment begging him to explain why he treated him so badly... you can visibly see it breaking Klaus. Even while claiming to not know why he was like that and seeing how it hurt Klaus, he still wasn't remorseful.
And what make this sense more heartbreaking is that happening in real life parents sometimes hate one or all their children even if they don’t do anything and I can relate to that because my father is even worse than Klaus father💔💔💔
excuse the question? Your father kills people.
It’s funny how to me klaus and Mikael are the only ones (out of the mikaelson family) that look like each other but they are the only ones that aren’t related in the family
Like the video of you agree
Mikael really should have been quite considerate and loving toward his son. Being the original tribrid, Klaus had the potential to do something good but the scar that Mikael left on Klaus has till centuries, shattered Klaus and his thoughts about his family.
I just have one sentence: HE DESERVED IT! I mean he put Klaus through so much way before he even knew that he wasn’t his own son
He made him feel like a fool and an idiot and yet he loves a daughter that he barely even knew and welcomed her with open arms
I always did love klaus vampires diaries and especially the original ❤Joseph Morgan ❤ British actor
“why do you call him you father he’s not “ - he’s done damage only a father can do.
Krause just wanted him to be his father but he never did just despised him over and over until he truly broke Klaus 😢
It's almost like he looked down & turned his humanity off to kill his dad. But who really knows. His dad definitely deserved that shit FrFr! ,,😮
Originals can't turn off their humanity
If Klaus turned off his humanity even the writers of the show would be dead 💀
@@pointbreakgaming8334 ofc they can, lol.
@@ellie4799 I don't think so. Rebekah mentions that in season 4 I think
@@xingxing0428this got me... so hillarious 😂😂😂
The hate he had stem'd from the fact that Klaus wasn't his child.
In a different universe Klaus would be raised by Esther And Anzel and they would be a good yet strong diciplined healthy family because Anzel unlike Mikael was not a viking warrior killer nor hard ass yeah.
Yes, Hasel seemed like a good character and I feel that he could have been the father that Klaus needed, but the miserable Mikael made sure that Hasel could not meet and raise Klaus, not only him but Esther, who, being the most powerful witch at that time, could end up With Mikael she was able to protect Klaus from him and also her other children, and she also had to let Klaus live with his real father. And I know it was a time where women were worthless but she, being an open witch, was able to protect her children from that Michael. But hey, if Esther had been a good mother, the story of the Mikaelson family wouldn't be so good. well, I think so
He was so hurt , klaus definitely deserves better❤
He knew he wasn’t his child that’s why he treated him like that
This was so hard for me to watch😞💔
The villians always born from their loved ones actions!!! Niklaus Mikealson. Rest in peace!!!
I loved this man, ❤❤❤😂right there
I wish they gave Mikael a redemption arc and be a part of the family. Imagine him being the protective grandfather to Hope, that would’ve been interesting.
Just finished watching titans, it was so amazing to see some of his character from vampire diaries spilling into the new character he plays in that show. Anytime he got angry I was like ooooop there’s klaus 🤣
Because he saw how brave and strong fighter he is But so shocked that he wasn’t his son 😢
All he wanted was his father to admire him.. But all his father did was saying i love you to another child in front of him... That sure hurt as hell.
A father and mother have created monster childs. That's what I can see. Klaus just needs love and approval from his dad.
This hit me so much personal experience 😢 hos kind of hurt is painful trying to fine peace knowing your not loved by your parents 😢 Klaus
Bring back the show 😢
Yeah. No body missing him
I can understand the daddy issue's 💔❤️🩹
This scene always gives me goosebumps
"I lo-"
Klaus: Don't you dare
Freya had no idea how evil that man was
I don't blame klaus for anything he is just too broken
Klaus had it right when he told her that Her and Mikael made him who he is. Not even Finn could argue that one. He sat there silent because deep down ecen Finn knew that it was True. None of them asked to become vampires. None of them asked to be immortal. And Klaus didnt ask to be a hybrid. His mother kept him weak "to protect him" when in reality she did it to protect herself from her secret getting out. In keeping him weak she allowed him to become the victim of Mikael. And mikael's hatred of Klaus broke him in a way no child should be broken. He tried everything to gain his fathers love and none of it worked. Mikael just hated him more. I think deep down Mikael knew Klaus wasnt his. Maybe the timing or because klaus looked different from the others (except rebecka) but i feel like deep in his soul he knew. For all i know Esther could have been pregnant with Klaus when Freya "died" and that could be the reason. But Esther and Mikael were horrible parents. He had every reason to vecome the villain. Haley and Hope were his saving grace. They made him WANT to be better than his parents. He still fucked up but he tried.
The truth could be but it doesn't make much sense since when Freya died what was the reality that Dalia took her away from Esther well that Mikael didn't know why well at that time Esther was pregnant with Elijah. So it is impossible that Esther could have been pregnant with Klaus when Freya had died, which was not true. 👍
I feel so bad for Klaus.🥺😢
Love the idea
I Should have forgiving him😢😢❤
I know that pain of being betrayed
Esther is the root of all these
Why is nobody noticing that mikeal was trying to reach klaus with his hand
I don’t think he was never once did he say sorry to klouse I think he was reaching to fraya
Lol that meant nothing. In the moment when it mattered he didn't say sorry to Klaus. Stretching his arm out at the point of death meant nothing other than prolly just a last ditch effort to reach out for life or something lol.
I looked at you as my father....
Why couldn't you love me???
He couldn't still bring himself to apologize
I have always felt bad for Klaus I love him
I can relate...it is extremely heartbreaking🥺😭💔
