I loved how different his relationships with Elena,Bonnie and Caroline were. Like he absolutely hates Elena and always is out for her blood literally which is fine cuz I hate Elena too. He’s terrified of Bonnie and lowkey respects her for her power and then he’s an absolute puppy dog in front of Caroline and can never even say a word to her cuz he loves her so much

Klaus was my favorite... but Elijah's loyalty to hid brother was unmatched, the way he chose to follow Klaus into death was poetic... it was also his last chance that we know of to ever die, that had to be tempting after living over 1000 years.
Even after TO amd got into legacies (not 25% as good) we never saw the outcome of 2 originals dying... think about how many vampires would die after two full sire lines over 1000 years were wiped out and the consequences that would have within their world. With Finn gone first, only two lines remain... in some ways I'm surprised his daughter lived. Is she apart of the sire line or is she considered an original Like the rest of the family? She just activated her vampire side this season
She's considered an Original. Because she was never "turned" by an original, there would be no sire bond.

@@ivo3598 as sad as I was to see Elijah follow Klaus, he HAD to. His entire life was dedicated to seeing Klaus's redemption through to the end.
On the plus side, Hope is a badass herself, but she ain't lacking for backup when needed.......she still has Aunt Freya, Uncle Kol and Aunt Becca. Plus Uncle Marcel is gonna be as protective as Klaus was, maybe twice as much since he knows what she means to Rebekah and to honor his "Father"
@ajax77 Davina cut Klaus’ sire line from him in order to weaken him/kill him without consequence sometime around season 2 or 3, and Elijah’s sire line was wiped when the hollow killed him in season 4 (Freya had trapped a fragment of his consciousness in her pendant but he was still dead enough for the entire sire line to die - they showed the immediate aftermath to this because Rebekah and Kol were clubbing and vampires around them just started to abruptly drop dead).

How has Joseph Morgan not lit it up in Hollywood ? I don't understand, he went from being such an amazing character with Klaus Michaelson to virtually nothing after
Unfortunately being brilliant in one role becomes a curse sometimes. The actor is forever identified with his character and isn't being casted for anything matching afterwards. Same thing happened to Tom Ellis after Lucifer or Sam Heughan after Outlander. Thought I don't think either of those two can even come close to Joseph Morgan tbh.
Klaus wasn't evil or a psychopath he was just broken for a thousand years Klaus was broken not like he could not be fixed but just missing so pieces for example
Hayley- to make him fight for what he wanted/needed even when he wanted to give in to the darkness
Hope- to give him something to fight for something to love unconditionally and to love him
And last but not least
Time- this was the final piece to the puzzle of klaus's redemption but ironically the one thing he did not have he needed time with his family but he died before he got his happy ending rest in peace

It couldn’t have been shown all that often, if it was they would have to contrive even more reasons as to why Klaus didn’t kill him (all of the characters should’ve died ten times over for going against the Mikaelsons’, they only survived due to plot).

Klaus is the unfortunate, the regrettable. He stood on a hill worth dying on yet will only ever be remembered as the villain. The depths he dove served only to remind him of his own pain. His pain that he inflicted on others were feeble attempts to destroy the parts of himself that he hated the most.
