@milani7452 naw, you can actually tell at times he wanted to be with her, and then something would happen to make him look like the bad guy. Like he regretted letting her marry the wolf dude. He was willing to take a loss to Elijah, but not to oh dude. He was super hurt when Hayley would think the worst of him when he was innocent. She drove him to Cami because she was the only one that would give the benefit of the doubt, and Elijah was low-key a dick for not giving her and Klaus a chance to work things out.
Klaus and Hayley were complicated but still made sense, Klaus said and showed he did it’s love or care for her but when she was in trouble or in danger he ran towards her and saved her no matter the cost. When she was kidnapped and killed he tried everything to help her even yelled out for her but couldn’t do anything. She was always part of and honored “Always and Forever” 😁❤️

this is honestly the most beautiful collection of memories throughout their relationship and it really shows how much Hayley meant to Klaus, how she truly became so important to him and how she managed to help him become the man he died as. My heart is literally aching watching this.

True. Cami did a lot as well, he deserved to be happy with Cami or Caroline. Even though she turned on Klaus for Jackson she never truly let him die or suffer forever. I felt they were strong before and after Jackson. She believed in him and understood him and he knew that. People think it was just because of hope and partly was but mostly because they were so much alike. She could grasp what many couldn’t. They helped each other, he helped her get he pack to accept her back in season 2 and she learned from him even if she was too proud to admit it. She defended Klaus to mikael without truly knowing their story in full, I always thought it was because she saw how strong yet broken he was.

I always loved Klaus and Hayley’s relationship, but I never really thought of it as a romantic one. Klaus and Hayley’s relationship is more of special bond where you connect with someone and understand them in a way that no one else will. I think Klaus truly cared for Hayley as someone he could look to for help and confide in. Hayley became the person we see in the last episode because of Klaus and the way he treated her. Klaus became the person he is with the help of Hayley and the rest of his family. Klaus and Hayley’s relationship will always be a special bond that I cannot help but admire.

Hayley got to experience the parts of Klaus that no other woman has. She was someone who got the little bits of Klaus that not even his "love interests" got. Klaus and Hayley should've ACTUALLY been end-game material. Though, there is also the part of me that is torn, because their platonic love is so powerful, too. But, I think at their core, Klaus and Hayley were right for each other (at the end).

Klaus didn't like Hayley at first, but when Hayley got pregnant and got the chance to get to know her, he loved her.But she hadn't seen the good side of Klaus and didn't trust him yet, that's why she went to Elijah. Klaus gave up Haley because of his brother. He was heartbroken by Haley, but he didn't hate her. Klaus loved her Always and forever until the end.
I feel that their bond was something beyond physical love. It was such a deep connection not only through their child but Hayley could always see the good in him and he had such respect for her strength and wisdom in the end. They had a deep understanding of each other and a connection and friendship that was even stronger than that of Hayley and Elijah as if their souls recognised how interconnected they had become. It was so sad to see her die, to see Klaus's anguish and how alone he felt without her and without his brother. She helped him grow and change in a way he never thought possible. To me, she is the true hero of this story.

You can see the look in his eyes at 3:55, I think that's when he decided to take a step back a let Elijah and Hayley be together even if it hurt him. Also, is sad that we get to see how much he loved her after her death, especially in 5x07 and 5x08.
This is one of those shows that really sticks with you. You never forget those feelings you had when first watching any part whether happy or sad or just plain heartbroken. This show is by far my most favourite show I've ever watched

Rebbekah saved him from making the biggest mistake of his life.
When Elijah is forced to watch the woman he loves die, Antoinette, he asks klaus "Is this revenge, force me to watch her just to show me how it feels?" Even in his compromised state Elijah knows that he didnt just kill the mother of klaus' daughter, he killed the women klaus had loved. The women who had understood him even when he was terrible. Yes. Klaus had a spark with caroline, and when they meet again that spark comes back because it was never explored. but just because caroline realized he wasn't the terrible person she thought he was doesnt mean she loved him and just because klaus wanted to love her doesnt mean he did. Hayley loved klaus but in beginning thought Elijah was what was best for her and hope because he was kind and noble. And married jackson because it was what was best for hope because she needed the wolves loyalty. But over time klaus grew up and hayley realized he had finally become the man she had always saw in him and was ready to love him. And klaus had finally realized the person he had been searching for in caroline and cami was hayley. Unfortunately they both sacrificed they're love for each other to protect hope.
The way he opened up about the feeling he had for hayley after her death is just love... He hasn't opened up this much for anyone not even for his siblings... He cared too much for her... His love for her is so pure and genuine that he can't feel. Not in a romantic way...
This made my cry. It all started when Lucien attacked Hayley. I tested up because I could see how much Klaus was struggling and how willing he was to save her. And then again when he bursted into the church when Hope was born or when he bursted into the house. I just wish Elijah hadn’t stopped him. From then on, I couldn’t stop crying.

He got his memories taken away and also he couldn’t have even remembered bc he loves her, bc he also has his memories behind his red door in his subconscious and he was too scared to remember even when Marcel and Vincent tried to get them back. Elijah loves Hayley and always will. When he thought she died when Hope was born he lost his hope and happiness. And when he got his memories back u could tell that he loved her and hated himself. In death, yes… she realises in her last seconds who is her real man, he realises he still had a chance with her… it was his weakness after all… the memories about her..! It's so ridiculous to realise that we may develop affection on more than one person but we don't have the courage to say it out. We may crush on one person but will have a deep understanding with someone else. We cannot deny the crush but at the same time we truly respect the deep connection with someone. Klaus had a crush on caroline and cami but the true deep connection and understanding was with hayley. Though it was purely platonic in TO, klaus and hayley were the best pair. Klaus own parents abandoned him but this girl came from somewhere truly loved and cared for him. Never abandoned him even when he tortured her. That's true love and affection. Hayley was a true blessing to the original family.

Bro it's been 3 years and I am still so fudging mad everytime I watch this edit!!! It just reminds me of what really could have been the most epic of epic loves in all the originals, and honestly vampire diaries, franchise. Like this will always be one of the biggest fumbles a team of writers could have ever made. I can understand why they didn't wanna go there too soon but like at least in the last seasons they should have got together. Caroline and Cami were some of the most stale love interests compared to Klayley (or in general really), literally both were never gonna reach the same stratosphere when it came to chemistry, tension, and just overall bond. Elijah & Hayley could have literally been making out or making googoo eyes at each other a whole episode and it honestly never conveyed as much chemistry or emotion as Hayley with Klaus in just a single scene of them having a conversation! Just some of the looks they would give each other, the intensity of emotions in their eyes when they would look at each other a lot of the time gave me shivers/butterflies. This edit embodies that perfectly. No one can convince me they weren't soul mates. And for those who say it was because they have a child together, that contributes to some of it but there are plenty of tv couples together with a kid and/or seperate and co-parenting without the same level of connection/chemistry/intensity as these two. Hayley entered the tvd fans heart so fast,we loved her as klaus did,we cried a lot when we lost her,she's the first not mikaelson who was in the '' always and forever '' i feel like,idk i can't pass her death,she died for klaus and hope,she wanted to take klaus to her side since day 1 i keep watching this and cry,how she loved him,and how he loved her,nothing to say except I HATE U JULIE

I never saw their relationship as romantic but I did think it was really special because she was considered as family which says a lot because he never let anyone but his family close to him and marcel ofc but Hayley was like an unexpected blessing she really became apart of always and forever and that’s what made their relationship so different
