I love Death Stranding. Recently got the platinum and it was the perfect excuse to play more! Planning delivery routes and knowing which categories you need to get a good rank for is essential. If you look at your stats page you can see which ones you need so that's really helpful. Great video man 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I would highly recommend getting Plat on the directors cut too. There's so much more content and definitely took me a long time to do but it was well worth the grind

The last achievement I put in was the memory chips one, after scanning half I decided to scan the other half at the end of the run. The second to last achievement I got was the Great Deliverer one and for that I did a shipment from South Knot to Lake Knot, then slept, got the last email that unlocked the First Prepper's memory chip (last one I needed), and then decided to do the journey from Lake Knot to First Prepper on foot. I loaded up on supplies and went around delivering lost cargo I found on the way and cleaning MULE camps. It was so satisfying when, after doing that last journey to the snowy peaks, and then returning to Mountain Knot (just to send Sam to bed before uninstalling the game), I scanned the remaining half of the memory chips and could listen to every cast member "thanking" me. For delivering the memory chips, yea, but I've got a problem of getting attached to game NPCs, so for me it felt a bit more impactful. Something to note was how I knew that the Elder was going to die if I didn't deliver anything to him in a long time because I read it in his wiki page. After beating the game I knew I wanted to keep him alive but I kept procrastinating sending him stuff. I read on his wiki page that you'd receive an email about his death so I just figured "I'll keep playing and whenever I get the email I'll go back a few saves and interrupt it". Little did I know that, after not receiving the email all this while and going to send him some lost cargo, he was dead and only after you find him dead you get the aforementioned email. This game inadvertedly cemented that lesson of caring for others and not leaving them for later etc. I'll frankly never forget it.
I’m actually on my way with the platinum trophy on Death Stranding. I’m playing the game all over again and I freaking love it. I played Death Stranding for the first time on the PS4 and loved it. But then I got the PS5 when it came out. And then got the Directors Cut on sale NEW for $20.00! Best $20.00 bucks on a video game I’ve spent in years. This game is truly fucking divine. It’s insane how much hate people give this game. Despite the “walking simulator” argument, this game has a beautiful story. Kojima blew us away man. The story is insane. The in game world is majestic. The sceneries, the regions, the views, I can go on and on. I too am building the roads as well. I have just under 80 hours of playtime but I am way ahead of my game due to first play on PS4. The directors cut is a whole new vision for Death Stranding, Kojima just made it better. There’s new weapons, new gear, new equipment, added story, added plot lines, new structures for the PCC. The new structures are amazing. Like the Cargo Catapult and the Jump Ramp. The fucking jump ramp of the top of the mountain in the central region with Stabilizer Jetpack is the coolest jump in the world! You literally skydive all the way down. It’s just amazing as Sam Porter Bridges just flies through the air like a majestic BT slayer that he is. They added new story to the game as well, this want in the first game on PS4, the story is all about Higgs. Higgs is prolly my favorite character. Sam & Higgs are both equal favorites of mine. It’s like they needed each other all the way to the end, they had a great relationship cause they wouldn’t aim to kill each other, not till the end, but Higgs still couldn’t do it. Sam didn’t kill him either but could have. I love how that was written. Bro I hope you got platinum on the directors cut, cause it’s a whole reality. It’s so good! And Death Stranding 2 is coming, I can’t believe it’s getting a sequel and I think Higgs is still with us. He’s the particle of god that permeates all existence.

Most recently I 100% Cult of The Lamb, The Callisto Protocol, and Evil West. I have about 5 games in mind that I'm deciding next to 100% and Death Stranding is one of them. Sounds like a brutal time-consuming challenge. Good insight as to what to expect for 100% on Death Stranding.
For the premium deliveries, do you have to play the game from beginning to end in hard mode or can I just change the settings to hard before I accept the delivery? I am completely finished with the story. I’ve put close to 90 hours into this game trying to finish the roads. I’m gonna be a little annoyed if I have to start from the beginning.
Exactly.the only road I built was from Lake knot city to South knot city .it's the only one you really need . The others ones kind of end in the middle of nowhere and you can just use zip lines
