Accidentally "climbing up" on a rock, which gets Sam caught instantly.
Punching a zip-line when trying to use it, making your cargo fall in the process, missing the LoL rank because of it. Happens way too often.

Lmao sometimes if the delivery is massive enough you have no choice but to take the risk and yolo your truck through. I can’t figure out any other faster way to do any of the 800 plus kg deliveries without using a truck. I don’t even know if there is. Yea you could use floating carriers but it’s not nearly as fast traversal wise since you still have to walk. Also even then the more cargo you put on your carriers the slower they make you.
@@ToxicTony15 i always use the trucks through BT territory too. You just have to figure out where the few BTs in your path are and take them out and its smooth sailing from there

I set up zip lines everywhere after I completed the game. At first, I didn't think I will get any likes, but now some of my zip lines got thousands of likes and it actually made me feel pretty good.
Seeing BBs levels in red gave me anxiety 😵

I found it fun when trying to run through a BT area with a trike. My 10 year experience with bike not waste.

I'm currently in Chapter 8 and have played for almost 400 hours (I might be a MULE) and I'm still loving this game so thank you for making videos. I learn at least one new thing every time. Btw, I put zip lines at the Wind Farm asap because I voided out that area in my playthrough. But makes runs there so much nicer.

Disagree. MGSV was probably the worst in terms of story, but it had the best gameplay of the series.

Exactly, this game is a big disappointment for me. I've been stuck in chapter 8 because I don't have any will do play it anymore.
Ah, man you should really try to stick it out if you've made it that far. It gets much easier towards the end as you do deliveries and receive items/upgrades to help with traversal and dealing with threats, etc. I really enjoyed the game.

for the forest zipline I found a way much more efficient...from the zipline path from the distribution center to port knot I only needed three ziplines to connect the wind farm.
the first one should be on the high edged rock on the upwards slope, the 2nd should be at the far right side at the very end of the windy pass (on a slightly elevated rock section right before it drops down into the forrest), if you placed the 1st on the very top of the rock then there's exactly one point on that rock where it can connect. The third one is right in the middle in front of the wind farm and you must simply look around a little to find a place where the zipline turns blue. The 2nd zipline must be lvl2 as the third one is 343m away and you should level it up before placing the third or you won't see the blue line.
I'm really proud in my zipline network(s) in general but this particular one I'm pretty sure is literally as efficient as can be

it’s crazy how satisfying it is to figure out the damn ziplines.. only reason I stopped cause it got to be annoying all the destruction that occurs naturally by timefall when you fast travel/sleep/etc
I have bad luck with making gold vehicles. Literally every time I do, I either fail a jump over deep water with the trike or, and this one still haunts me, manage to stand a truck perfectly vertical on it's front with no way to right it. Didn't dismantle it either because I wanted everyone to see how BS it was.
Faster scrolling in menu’s by pressing left or right on the d-pad. This jumps to each sub section.
The secret zip line we are going to have build it ourselves, unless we have a connection. Thanks for the idea though haha
I just finished Death Stranding and I'm just messing around with game mechanics... This game is ALOT OF FUN, but you got to have some creativity.
I feel the same way just finished and I feel like I'm just getting to understand the ACTUAL gameplay
Hence why the Warzone and Fifa playing morons brand this game ‘boring’ or ‘annoying’ or just outright ‘bad’, because their feeble minds lack the fun and creativity that Death Stranding is designed for. This game is a masterpiece in story telling and gameplay, a 10/10, within moments it become one of my favourite games of all time, it’s so original and amazing.
I had a zipline going from the front of the wind farm to the top if the opposite hill, kinda hard to set up but it's doable, there's a small line of sight with the maximum zipline lvl 2 distance in between the trees
There is just something about this game.
I have beaten it and have gotten my Platinum trophy, but I still want to play it. Just wander around delivering shit and exorcizing BTs.

Yeah, I also made a zip-line shortcut over the forest since it was a pain making deliveries to Wind Farm. I even used the exact same spots xD
With a level 3 speed skeleton you can outrun BTS even when there are a ton of them. Tried it out by the incinerator next to capital knot city, and it worked like a charm

In the forest I had 3 zip lines, one in the hill and other two between BTs until the house. You pass through all BTs and it's funny, but it took me time to upgrade them. I had to fight many times with the boss.

Why is it there?
Decima, Guerilla games engine, was used to make DS. I think one of the devs is even a character that you can deliver to, but you can get holograms for your built items that greet people who pass them, thus H:ZD characters in DS

#3 is probably what I should have done/do now, but I just go through and cut all their cords. Then they stay gone for at least the next few journeys in and out.

The hunter BTs are just giving Sam likes.
Had a crater pop up near the wind farm. Zip lines can go over them. No more walking around.
The wind farm thing and the bridge thing for pass through the destroyed city done... I also made a titanic style photo on top of bridges stok center

Ok so for anyone wondering why u can’t get gold vehicles is because you need directors cut to get the chiral gold paint jobs for stuff
You need to unlock the ability. Just keep playing and eventually it unlocks. It is unavoidable

Same.. I got to the point where i had so many zip lines in that area i could just zip all across the map back and forth to each waystation finishing up orders with my feet barely ever having to touch the ground, haha
I'm doing the 5 stars of every shelter, and well, i ended up creating a zipline network going to every shelter of the big map. Fun gameplay, press square, accept quest, go to zip line, press cross 10 to 40 times, sometimes press left or right, listen the NPC telling you "WOW, must have been hard to carry all of this"... yeah ...
There is something addictive about it though. I've heard people referring to the gameplay loop as 'meditative' which I have to agree with. Although, i'm a long time gamer, i tend to lean more towards the casual side but i'm currently on the home stretch for the Platinum. I love 'grindy' type games like this where you can just throw the game on every once in a while and just zone out for a few hours. There's definitely a cerebral aspect to all the gear, crafting, upgrading, deciding what and what not bring on your hike, cargo management, etc. I also love the Japanese take on the 'Lovecraftian' horror elements as well. Overall happy with the game/experience and it's pretty much what expected from Kojima.
@@keithe5165 I'm going for the platinum as well. It's so much in the games world tht can easly be missed with one play through, so I'm glad that I'm a platinum junky. I found some pretty cool things looking for the collectables. I love how Sam's life is secondary to the cargo. It's such a different experience fighting mules and BT's with and without cargo. Traversing is even wreckless or experimemtal without cargo. I also like tht the game doesn't advocate for murder being the first option, and that there are severe consequences for it. It feels true to the story and life itself.

i think slippery sam is one of the things that destroyed the game for me. my impression was of a threat being there, everywhere also in connection with the bad weather. so you probs have to hide and make a campside at some point...maybe do some survival stuff like drink and eat. then get on with your journey and make ur way through the rough terrain.
i really did not like the fixed BT-Areas besides some areas where it def makes sense like bigger cities.
having to look for a way between points the very first time is actually the coolest part for me. i can see how you want to establish new roads, bridges and so on but i somehow liked more the exploration part here. also being connected to the multiplayer just destroyed everything. as soon as i connected a location, everything (trash) popped up everywhere and i missed being alone and have to figure out a way to get to the destination.
as a third thing they added this bs-bossfights, this influencer stuff and just basic back and forth cargo transportation.
idk i expected something totally different. the idea itself is awesome and still very cool in my opinion but i didnt like how it was executed unfortunately.
I have to admit that sounds interesting, and maybe a game+ or mod could make that possible, but it would have to make NPC porters more wise to the ways of these new BTs

My zip line goes from the main road - post box there purposely because leaving a truck full of cargo will be out of range by the time you get to the wind farm.

#4 is completely unnecessary in my opinion. Once my Odradek starts spinning I’ll just hold my breath and move in the direction of where it’s spinning and I can easily get away with stealth killing so many BT’s in a row by using this method. The one showed here just feels like wasted time when you can just easily stealth kill them way faster then that. Honestly I doubt there is any one way Kojima intended for people to deal with BT’s. He’s very much the type of video game creator that wants the player to experiment in any way they can.

I like playing DS but I don't find it much fun. Other words come to mind, but fun isn't one of them. In fact, if I think about it too much, its general funlessness gets to me. I already know I will never play it again once I've completed everything. But I'm enjoying it for other reasons. (Masochism???)

Try to not think about it too much when you play. As you play Just kinda relax and enjoy. Try doing something you wanna do instead of running orders for everyone else. & as good as the programming is, there's still Plenty of glitches to find if that's your thing
