I honestly didn’t know all the bearings need to be removed after 40k miles 😳 you guys are really going above and beyond with all these builds, I love it!!
They are removing all the bearings because they are going to powder coat the frame. They would get destroyed if they were left in.
This is true but even if we weren’t, when working on a bike with this many miles we would have done the bearings regardless.

To also create a "edge" to get the barring out you could weld the race then you can get a really good spot to hit

That is literally the same bearing tool i bought when i did the rearswingarm bearings on my XT660R ;)
It did the job in the long run.

It’s crazy how the music started to slow and y’all had a really sad face.
I'm worried about that frame. If it is no longer flat, it is because it was literally GROUND DOWN the metal, creating a weak/thin point in the frame. Just look at old GSX-R's from the late 2000s, and realize that suzuki had to issue a recall on their frames to weld in reinforcements due to frames stress cracking in almost the exact same area! You are creating this issue with this frame by having a part of it structurally thinner and weaker than the rest of it right at a point where the frame receives the highest radial loads.
For the new owners safety, PLEASE consider welding in additional material, a reinforcement, or replacing the frame!
I’ll bring this up to Brian and we’ll see what he says

Honestly man I wish we did. It would make these builds WAY cheaper. Unfortunately we install what we feel is best for each individual build.

I suggest doing one bike at a time like previous seasons. I’m still watching, but really wanted to give some feedback as I know you can create fantastic content. Just my opinion.
