Yo, do Barrett next. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or something the Devs missed, but Barrett's limit break has the ability to generate another full limit break. Allowing you to do 2 back to back.

Red XIII has always been my favorite character in the entire Compilation of VII and I love how he plays from just the demo. I love counter characters in action games so I'm looking forward to maining him in every battle I can.

Red one of my favorite ff7 character i remember in the og he also started very strong but started to get overshadowed by barret, cid and yuffie by the time you hit disc 3, but still remained a valuable party member through the whole game hope he stays that way in rebirth

I like using faith or bravery while enemies are pressured because he doesn’t need to use ATB for building stagger in vengeance. Helps get the team ready for big damage staggers!
Also, crescent claw. Very interesting attack. It’s the first mixed damage ability in the game. Outside of vengeance it’s purely physical, but the bonus hits with big range and damage in vengeance deal magic damage.
One of my faves is to block a bunch of attacks in a short window and use all that time you get to build vengeance with stardust ray.
Spinning around as red reminds me of the terpsicolts from remake. Those damn spinning seahorses😂

On Phoenix full difficulty, if you use his howling moon on all enemies right after Phoenix use rebirth flame, his limit gauge gets filled up to MAX AGAIN instantly it’s crazy !!!

Literally, all of my material is Max I spent most of my time fighting the emphasis mastering counterattacks and mechanics but S/o To you bltzz That video where it shows how you can make your attack hit the other character instead of focusing on one was helpful and took my combo to the next level

I’m 8 hours on the cloud and team side of the demo learning the materia and combat thanks for the fuids
In the Rebirth demo I collected the Ramuh materia during the Nibelheim flashback somewhere in the reactor.
So since you can skip the demo part in the main game, does anyone know if it's possible to find it again? (Before finishing the game and chapter selection (hard mode) of course.)
I'm a little bit worried that you can't get him anywhere else, since he's not in my inventory after skipping the demo part. (Didn't play Intergrade, so to get him as a reward is not an option.)
Can't really remember, but weren't there multiple chances for esper materia in Remake?
When I first played Red 13, I figured that he was more of a "pressure" centered character. Although I built him to buff my characters lol.
Just found out that Red has a dodging version of Siphon fang that you can also chain into siphon fang. And during the spin attack yes sidewinder is good to slam them back down, you can also hit the attack button during your spin for an additional attack too. Can probably chain it into sidewinder too.
When you do an advanced guide, can you explain his basic flow/playbook? Like, should I Block the first part of the fight to build vengeance gauge or just do abilities and be agressive while precision blocking and countering to be most effective?

A lot of people are saying Yuffie is still the best character and if she still plays like she did in the DLC I definitely wouldn't doubt it.
She was so fun… but so OP… it got to the point where I just spammed triangle triangle square square square repeat and made short work of everything! Even Ramuh couldn’t hold up!
@HomeDefender30 she kinda had to be in order for the DLC to work with her being the only playable character. Now, in Rebirth, she's got a whole team backing her up. She's definitely going to have a permanent spot in my party when she joins.
Without knowing anything about her combat, I can confidently say, she is the best character lol.

Straight up! I'm super excited to see what the depths of Aerith's kit looks like.
Out of all the characters so far-obviously, I haven't been able to play with Cait Sith yet-Barrett seems to be the character with the least amount of changes.
Our husky boi still seems to play like a dream. But, Aerith is where I want Rebirth to open up more magical and support options.
His kit is so good I could cry

Anybody else having issues with Synergy Skills? I've unlocked them in the folio and they don't show up in the r1 menu nor do the show up in combat settings synergy ability section. For some characters they show up but others it just shows up as "Unlearned Offensive Skill". Unless I missing something it seems bugged out :/

Yeah I had issues making the most of him. He’s also one that needs the most finesse to handle aerial enemies and there was no shortage of them in the demo.
I really want to play this game but I only have a PC. Is it worth it to buy a PS5 or wait till it comes out on PC?
So I got a question about Elemental material combo with the Fire & Ice material. When paired does the elemental put both elements on the weapon or does it do one or the other? Example: Fighting a Bomb with that combo, if it adds both elements would you be doing a net zero for damage (absorbs fire damage & takes extra ice damage) or would the game AI know to only use ice element?
The AI knows to only use the weakness or higher damage one with synergy. I believe the same is for elemental but I have not tested yet
I might if miss this but would love a section that just shows how you attack. You go over all the abilities but would love a rotation section that explains and shows
I like how you can see when to counter during the solo simulator fights. Too bad it gets covered up by synergy skills when you’re fighting with the party.
Where did you find a level boost materia in chapter 2
So can you use a limit then use red synergy and use it again?
I haven't really heard much news until I went looking for it I guess, but in this video at least it seems "Tanky-defensive Character" really means Barbarian, because that's obviously a rage mechanic.
Red was always in my party in the original, you already know he gonna be in my party for rebirth

I am somewhere in chapter 2 after completing Intermission on hard all this is coming so easy I am not seeing any problems so far but want to exploit the attacks and stagger to the max. Red for me is not doing much but is more than ok, I use him with Barret and Cloud... I love how Red is riding the Chocobo! too Funny to see a dog ride a chicken, I love it, its all kinds of wrong but funny to see....
Can we see Aerith next? I know ppl are excited for anything but her…but mages are my favorite class so 👉🏽👈🏽

I've made Red XIII my pure Tank with Debuff/Status Ailment Materias. At my current stage of the game it's just Poison, as there's HP UP, Vitality UP, Steadfast, Precision Block, & Auto Ability. I went also with the Vengeance upgrades as weapon skill choices. I'll admit, I need to play with him more. My main party has been Cloud (All-Rounder), Barret (Long Range Offense/Buffer), & Aerith (Healer).
Red is awesome, feels SO good to play

I’m curious to see if he can serve as an alternative to Aerith, since he can drain MP with his Limit.
Use him, cloud and aerith for insane attack all combos.
Cloud with elemental, enemy skill, ice and time materia and sonic boom start up
Red13 with provoke, vitality, precision dodge, support materia and stardust ray
Aerith with fire+ice, wind+lightning, cure and using her wards together

I put all the block boosting materia you can get in the DLC on him, but I'm not patient enough to use it, good to hear he will block on his own.
Great stuff Blitz, Red is definitely fun to use. What’s everyone’s dream team roster? Mine’s gonna be *Cloud, Yuffie, and Red*(or swap Red for Aerith depending on the situation.) This may change after using all synergies but we’ll see.

Cloud, red and Aerith or cloud barret and yuffie. Don’t know exactly but I’ll definitely play Aerith or yuffie all the time. They are my favorite characters to play with.
Is it just me or Aerith has a bug with her normal attacks inside the sigil? Sometimes the projectiles target the enemy but it doesn’t hit them.

Why is it so difficult to get into aerial combat? I keep hitting dodge button and then square. Is that wrong?

Red cannot go into the air sadly. Only cloud, tifa and yuffie. Cloud can go in the air by dodging and holding square not tapping square. This video explains it all except yuffie - czcams.com/video/dagw3o5dz4U/video.html

The maps are so fucking huge its intimidating. It took me almost 10 hours to get through the first open zone lol I wanna do story missions but also the completionist in me makes it hard

Wait, wait, wait, " Increase Stagger Damage after blocking," Did they worded that wrong, how the hell can you increase stagger damage if the enemy is immobilized during staggered, or does the block make multipliers goes above 160% from the start?
