If I remember correctly, it’s been a running joke since the Vindicators that reveals Rick actually does care about Earth geopolitical struggles and US Foreign Policy, because when he is blackout drunk he apparently talks about Israel/Palestine a lot. I think the very end of season 3 into season 4, in which he has that spat with the President, he has become more openly cynical of political situations.

One of the biggest loose ends in the history of Rick and Morty is what happened with Jerry’s beekeeping hobby.
They actually bring it back up a few times in Season 6. Jerry mentions how his bees need the lavender that Pissmaster is ruining.
