Thank you, Galen. I have 30 ml as well, but I think it will last me a good while because all you need are two, max. three sprays and it lasts forever on me.

Iga, you already had me at that short jaunt through the mossy trees in the park. Now, the Timbuktu closeness does the job for me, though I much prefer Guerlain's Samsara over Heritage. Thanks for another great review, as ever.
Aw, thank you!! I definitely need to revisit Samsara in the nearest future, I tried it ages ago when my nose was much less experienced. Back then I found it a bit too much. Unfortynaly I do't see the old design bottles anymore and I heard that the version that comes in the bee bottle is just a sad shadow of its old glory.

Parfums de Nicolaï is a relatively new house I’m exploring and I have not been disappointed yet. As you are aware, the founder of this house is the grand-daughter of Pierre Guerlain. Patricia’s irrefutable olfactory sensitivity shines through the collection and ‘New York Intense’ is a great example. You did not mention its performance/longevity on skin/clothes which is superb in my opinion. Lovely review and equally lovely presenter. I look forward to your next.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think this scent would smell regal on almost everybody although I can see how it might be perceived as masculine.

I could listen to you all day... especially when you're talking about one of my favorite perfumes.🧡 You have this calming vibe plus amazing nose and taste.
I admit, initially i was a bit "worried" that this scent is maybe too "old school" smelling for me, that it doesn't suit me, but after a few months of wearing it, it became a very good friend of mine, who gives me confidence and joy. So even if it doesn't suit my physical appearance (donno... can't tell... 😅), it definitely changes the "air" around me in a positive way.

Ok...I am blushing hardore right now :) Oh, I think this fragrance suits you perfectly. It definitely isn't about the looks, but more about the overal vibe and the way I perecive you, makes it a petfect scent for you. I am really hrateful because you gave me the opportunity to sniff it blindly, I didn't know what I was smelling, but i remember I guessed it must be New York, because it fit the descriptions I read and heard from people. It was an isntant WOW! I was really surprised that it is so beautifully classic and modern at the same time. Perfect for a contemprary man with a bit of an old soul. This man is intriguing without trying hard.
As to the b-rolls....I had a great teacher :D

The cutaway scenes to the white shirt and the mossy street are brilliant. I blind bought this one and the only thing I regret is not getting a 100ml bottle.
The first time I smelt this it reminded me a lot of Heritage too. But less ambery, a little dirtier... I’ll have to see if I can see the connection to Timbuktu, which I’m less familiar with. Nice review!

Funny tthing is that I tried wearing Heritage myslef but unfortunately I couldn't stop thinking anf feeling I am wearin someone else's clothes that do not fit me and are not my style. Heritage is an entrely masuline and very mature fragrance for me. New York shares some qualities with it but defitely has this moder, contemporary feel to it which makes it absolutely wearable for me.

I really enjoy New York Intense, as I'm a sucker for the old school type of fragrances. I think that if I had smelled this before I fell in love with Creed's Bois du Portugal, I would have been smitten. Even though they are different fragrances, I sense them being within the same sphere. Although this one seems fuller and a bit darker than BdP. Unfortunately this fragrance fades, and creeps very close to my skin after a short while. But this might make it a bit more composed and confident, while BdP is a bit louder in its citrusy old school radiance. Thank you Iga!
I am really happy that you finally got round to trying New York Intese and that you are enjoying it. Unfortunately I have never tried BdP so I have no comparison. For me New York has an outsanding performace (both sillage and longevity) . Two sprays last me at least 8-10 hours and I know others can smell it. Don't understimate this little fella, it's strong :D

Thank you very much. For the fist time I tried it back in September 2019 and immediately fell in love .I went throgh a sample that was kindly sent to my by my friend and as soon as I used it up I ordered my own bottle as well.

The performance is outstanding! On myself I can smell it 10h+ I find it pretty potent.
