This summer, Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective have brought the Smirnoff House to Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, HARD Summer in Southern California and most recently, the Smirnoff House returned yet again to Nocturnal Wonderland in San Bernardino, California.
Powered by a custom VOID soundsystem and rocking from open 'til close all three days, the Smirnoff House brought yet another specially curated line up to its picket fence and brick chimney house.
Friday of the festival saw Laidback Luke join the house with a special entirely 90s and R&B set, followed by Mat Zo, Matt Lange, Matador, Anna and more.
On Saturday, we had Bot, Troyboi, Astronomar, Sinden, Taiki Nulight, G Jones and a closing set from a special guest Liquid Stranger.
Finally, Nocturnal Wonderland's Smirnoff House closed out with Cristoph, Angelz, Modus, a DJ set from Keys N Krates, Attlas, Ephwurd and Friends, Sacha Robotti and a very special throwback hip-hop set from Bingo Players.

I think hes trying to say that he started out as dnb (MRSA) and mostly played trance because its what made him more popular with Anjunabeats. But Matt Zo never really was fond of just one genre.
Hence why he named his album... Damage Control.
He is more like free style producer. I went to a gig that he played and his songs were incredible and varied. He never disappoint, doesn't matter the style.

It's funny to have seen these sorts of music events go from record label sponsorships to focussed demo sponsorships. No issues. Just interesting. What a great investment Mixmag (whatever that is, a website?) & Smirnoff (with all due respect, a pretty down-market vodka) made, and how this jibes with my experiences at SXSW 2012: The headliners attract huge lines/blocks-long queues, whereas often huge rising talents, like Mat ZO, are right there inside some random bar being sponsored by some similar sad downward spiral, i.e., CNET with Tyler the Creator.

Hey I love the Zo, but the excessive fake knob twisting really gets almost offensive starting at 25:08 (with the eptiome at 26:05) for Wolfgang's song.... like c'mon man we can see you touching an inactive deck and the not moving knobs on the active portion....
