    Love the view guys. Far better than the isolated valley area I grew up in (Upper Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia). Yeah - we'd get snow that looked picturesque, but nothing like what you've got there in the background. Awesome. Hey Matt - have you considered photos / postcards / posters as merch / swag you could add to the website? Just a thought ... I know it would take a huge amount of time away from fishing. Yet some of the results you've had from the camera work you've done (and the rest of the family of course) makes me think there's a lot of potential there. Again, just a thought ...

    Hi guys, I love your videos, is it not worth Longlining for cod or is jigging more cost effective ?

    • @EISAlaska
      @EISAlaska  Před 3 lety

      Hi Dan. There is a federally managed longline fishery for cod. This is a state water fishery with a separate allocation. The only legal gear is jig and pot gear with the GHL (guideline harvest level) split 50/ 50 between the two.

    • @EISAlaska
      @EISAlaska  Před 3 lety +1

      We can pack her full with around 15000. That doesn’t happen often though, usually its just a case of out of time on a trip. 3 days fishing at most.

    • @EISAlaska
      @EISAlaska  Před 3 lety +1
