Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This CZcams channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

I really like these type of video's, I have been away from golf for 30 years due to pressure of work, but have now returned to the game. I find your channel by far the best, mostly because of your easy manner and sensible banter. Just watching you inspired me to retake up the sport and I am absolutely loving it again My next challenge is to get my wife out on the course, I am sure she will take to it like a duck to water...

haha - know what you mean Matt - but seriously - try walking for a few rounds - I walk regularly - and 95% of my rounds - find twice as many balls as I lose - easy - they are all over the place - people just don't bother to look, and when you are not driving a cart - you see them everywhere - looks like an Easter Egg Hunt for 3 year olds on my course most Sunday afternoons.. Titleist is my favorite brand to find - Srixon my favorite to hit..

I'm late to this video but I absolutely love your videos and you are such a help when it comes to learning about all the different cheaper club sets. I am new to golf and looking to buy a cheap set to do the job until i get a good hang of it. Thank you for the videos keep up the good work 👍👍

Honestly as a new played to the scene, I was demoralized after a couple of sessions at driving range because of lack of connection the ball and what not, Rick you came into my life like a ray of sunshine and suddenly now I’m buying monthly passes to my driving range and have been getting better at every session, taking notes from your videos has helped me immensely, I especially loved the whole series of how to hit with the driver, super informative keep up the work ❤️❤️
I picked up this set in Arizona just a couple of weeks ago! This is my first 'real' set of clubs, and I really like them. I'm a total beginner falling into that first category of golfer you mentioned this set is for, and I'm quite tall so I had the shop add a 1.5' extension to the shafts. Overall, I'm quite happy with them, highly recommend to fellow new golfers!
I really appreciate what you good sir. Just picked up golfing about a month ago and I fell in love with it. Your channel has helped me so much! Been doing my research on club sets and could only narrow it down to a few and this set was actually on my top 5. I’m not trying to break the bank because I’m active duty Air Force and I don’t get paid that much but I also don’t want to short myself on a decent club set. I bought these clubs last Xmas or at least the speed xl version and fell in love, great well rounded set for a new beginner and definitely made me a cobra fan, cheers for the vid Rick

I got those Callaway Edge set. They have been going good. Was happy to get them. These clubs don't feel cheap but if you currently play with a mixed set of clubs or older clubs, these are a upgrade.
I am a 15 year old boy who just started playing golf. Right now I have been borrowing from my dad, but I have got some clubs from my grandmother which is 15 years old and a putter from my grandfather who just passed away. Would be a nice start to my golf carrer with a new set of clubs.

Hi Rick love your show have learnt so much off you and Peter Finch. I have gone from 23 handicap and the last 16 month down to a 9.5 handicap. It's a lot of hard work but have had fun doing it as well.

Bought these for my Dad on Father’s Day, he used to play a lot in college and hasn’t much since, his irons were old McGregor Blades from the late 80’s. He’s been playing once a week since he got them and he loves them!

Love the channel! I’m picking up golf again after a break of a couple of years and I could really use the set to replace my dated equipment that I bought as a student! I’m a dad since 3 weeks so need to get my golf game on par so I can take my son in a couple of years :)
Just started playing a couple months ago at 31. My friends are pretty good and hooked me up with a low end starter set. I think I have fallen in love with this game and your content has some great advice for someone learning.

Currently using my dads 25 year old clubs and some of them have big scratch marks aswell so these clubs would help me alot as I now shoot regularly under 100

I am 14 and I just started golfing my clubs right now are wooden with a metal handle it’s really hard to lift the ball with it I would love these clubs and would use them alllll the time

I've been watching just about every video you put out! Great tips for beginners or even a 7 handicapper like myself. I like watching the tip videos while your playing 9 or 18 holes. Keep up the great work.
I was trying golf for the first time, with a friend, so I googled "how to hold a golf club", and I found Rick Shiels excellent video explaining this. That was a few weeks ago, and now I have a beginner's set of clubs and I'm a subscriber to the channel, having watched a ton of Rick's great videos on the basics of golf.

I just bought this set for $650 US and it seems to be the updated version. Two more clubs than the ones you have here and the putter has a much nicer super striker grip and it’s weighted. For this price it’s easily the nicest set on the market. The driver is awesome and right out of the box I’m hitting it 270-300 yards and I’m a beginner.
If you are thinking about this set make sure your getting the updated version. It’s worth every single penny and I’m excited to start playing.
