Just to prove that Floor can growl even more intensive than here. The bassist doing the clear voice in the refrain while Floor is growling. Live from Mexico City is the version where Floor's growling is mixed even-handed to the clear voice. Alternatively there are versions from a cruise ship (Baltic Princess) and from Wembley where Marco's part is slightly favored on the mixing table....
Now you are ready for "Yours is an empty hope" then their hardest song "Master, Passion, Greed". The second song is a hate song against Tarja's husband which was written sometime around the same time as "The Poet and The Pendulum". "Yours is an empty hope" has long verses growled by Floor.
I don’t think they’re quite ready for TPATP, but master passion greed is so good, and had the only expletive in Nightwish songs 😂. Yours Is An Empty Hope (either Tampere or Wembley) is so good. But I guess you can only hear floor if you know it’s there. Otherwise it blends right in with Marko
Floor Jansen is a vocal athlete with incredible range, agility, versatility, vocal stamina, and stage presence. She is a soprano with a range of more than three octaves (D3 to F6). It is apparent when listening to her sing that she has spent the better part of her life fine-tuning her instrument with help from several vocal coaches. Floor can sing in multiple languages and genres and is a vocal coach herself. It is incredible how she is able to take any song and make it her own. This woman is a true gift to her craft and an incredible addition to a band that has always been great until 2013 when they officially hired the undisputed Queen of Metal Floor Jansen, making Nightwish the greatest band on the planet.
Finally. Most reactors miss her growl, so it's cool that you guys noticed it. This song is a pretty good example for why most of my favorite songs are those sung by Marko and Floor together. You can't find a better match in my opinion. And I LOVE demon Marko. 😈🖤 Pretty sure you're gonna love Romanticide. You'll meet Powerhouse Marko in the next one (at least snippets of it). But speaking of changing it up, can't wait for you to get to I Want My Tears Back and meet Troy. 😁

So correct! Not one song from this concert is to be missed. A worthy detour would be Yours Is An Empty Hope from Wembley 2015 where Floor growls alot. The song also is quite heavy and Floor goes from growling to angelic siren and back again. But whenever you do it we will be there with you to watch the mayhem.

Tuomas really does not like growling. But now and then he lets Floor loose as in the already suggested song 'Yours in an empty hope'. After her first band 'After Forever' disbanded in 2009, Floor started her own band 'Revamp' from scratch. Here she began to experiment with different sounds within one song including serious growling. The songs 'Disdain' and 'Wild Card' are good examples. Other songs which show the versatility of Floor are 'Energize Me' from her After Forever days (my favourite performance is the official music video) and from her side project 'Northward' the song 'While Love Died'.

(reminds me of far too many of my knucklehead buddies) Next, and the main reason I even watch reacts, is how much I enjoy observing others' dawning realization of just how ridiculously multi-layered an artist or band can actually be. Nightwish is one of the precious few acts that demonstrates that continuously developing experience, even within just a single show. Good on whomever pointed you in their direction! Hey PENIS - if you wanna stick with the Wachen show for now, then Song of Myself, I Want My Tears Back, Romanticide & Ever Dream all feature both Floor and Marco vocals. Once you venture wider, then 7 Days to the Wolves at Wembley 2015 is for me the best song featuring both of them. And then some other good suggestions in other comments.

PENIS! Btw, in your Wacken 2013 Nightwish journey, be absolutely sure to specify "correct speed" in the title of every song of this show. There is a vast majority coming from a bad Blue Ray transfert with 5% less speed. It's an obvious difference in songs such as "Song of Myself"!
In terms of growling, Floor is definitely not on a lower level than Jinjer, she just growls differently. If you claim this, then listen to ReVamp - Disdain and especially Nightwish - Yours Is An Empty Hope.Vehicle Of Spirit.Live at Wembley (2015). To be a good growl singer does not mean that I necessarily have to make a sound reminiscent of vomiting which is far beyond the limit.

All of the songs from this concert will be sounding different on the studio version, still good, but defenitly different. At this point in time there is no studio album with Floor yet. So non of the songs she sings here are orriginally hers. Still killing it though :)
The children choir amps up the creep factor, then add that it is supposedly about the Devil and Mother Gaia competing for the soul of a child. Knowing that, re-watch and get chills. This song is dark AF.

You guys gotta check out Song of Myself WACKEN 2013, 7 Days to the Wolves live at Wembley for some Marco and Floor duets, and The Islander (both live at Tampere and studio are great) and Nightwish's tribute/cover of Pink Floyd's High Hopes, and Endlessness from the new album, to hear Marco lead singing with Nightwish.
Hey PENIS - if you wanna stick with the Wachen show for now, then Song of Myself, I Want My Tears Back, Romanticide & Ever Dream all feature both Floor and Marco vocals. Once you venture wider, then 7 Days to the Wolves at Wembley 2015 is for me the best song featuring both of them. And then some other good suggestions in other comments.

Btw, in your Wacken 2013 Nightwish journey, be absolutely sure to specify "correct speed" in the title of every song of this show. There is a vast majority coming from a bad Blue Ray transfert with 5% less speed. It's an obvious difference in songs such as "Song of Myself"!
