Not everywhere is a democracy. Many of the US politicians claim they have a democracy, especially the democrats. But if you read the constitution / bill of rights, it actually states that the US is a republic!
@@CryptidsRoost Are you just a bot ready to pounce? Where did I even mention the US version of democracy? The intent of my comment (merely) stands as written - why does a captain and her supervisor (the narrator) decide what is best for all humanity (let's say in this case,over 100 million)..the idealism of democracy may not be your thing and you're fine with authoritarianism,but I would want to ascend.
