Can you share with me your JD 7000 transmission gear set up?
I put it on one two setting down from the fastest settings. The spacing was 3"-4"
On a small scale, what time of year do I grab seed from existing stands? Fall, I presume. Im thinking the wind here in Kansas may disperse seed before I get back to it.
Usally in the fall.
Can you interseed eastern gamma grass with alfalfa, maybe 80% Alfalfa, 20% gamma, and have them grow well together? Or will one dominate the other?

Eastern Gamagrass is known as cow ice cream and they love it. The only place i know of to purchase is eastern gamagrass co.
If the seed begins to sprout during stratification. What is needed to be done?
If it sprouting the temperature is to warm you want it at around 35 degrees but not freezing.
