    I was very surprised when Rex called Alvis "Heartless machine" considering his relationship with Pyra and Mithra. It just doesn't fit in my head how he could say that.

      That tells me that Alvis did something absolutely horrible to make him say that. Something worse than Malos ever did.

    • @WhyFi59
      @WhyFi59 Před rokem

      Those were Rhodes and Ortiz and it's said that what was strange about them living to 80 is that they were originally Flame Clock/tattoo soldiers that the other founders liberated, much in the same way Guernica does to the main party. The technology they used to remove their term limit might have been lost or it may have had something to do with Alvis' appearance.

    After watching Wave 4 of Xeno 3 and screaming very loudly, I went back to the Founder's place in the city, and clearly, the statues from house Cassini and House Reid are indeed Rex and Shulk, although the description states that those statues are not from the Founder's themselves, but their mentors. They loved their mentors so much, that they dedicated those statues to them. When playing the game, I've already assumed that the first Ouroboros could be the guys from Xeno 1 and Xeno 2... but I'll have to wait and play the DLC when it comes out. I'm honestly more hyped for this DLC than Zelda TOTK hahahaha
    Oh, I also hope that this DLC will be as big and expansive as Torna was, to be released as a Standalone game. After seeing some... spoilers that dataminers have dug up, I'm sure that it'll be BIG.

  • @MisterFath
    @MisterFath Před rokem +9

    To be honest Rex and Shulk live longer is explainable with little hints in the XC3 world.. With "Science in" Shulk can make him self and Melia to live longer and maybe live a million years old like Klaus.. Rex can also live longer if he became blade eater or just use Nia to make him live longer.. But Shulk and Rex is definitely not in character there maybe something terrible happen to their friend that make them like this.. Shulk in XC1 hates Klaus when he extend his life for his own gain but Shulk still does it anyway in XC3.. And Rex called Alvis heartless machine when he literally marry Pyra and Mythra, but there a high chance that Alvis killed both of them and make Rex this mad..

    A detail that you should remember is that the base game stated that people of the city will be reborn in the new world, the worlds will meet again and that no one remembers Aionios.
    What if second instance of Aionios and everything is happening again, another endless now. Basically it a prequel and a sequel at the same time.

    • @SuperSavajin
      @SuperSavajin  Před rokem +3

      I really think this is a cop out of the game because the situations are gonna be very different so I don't think everything will play out the same and the same people will fall in love.
      But for this timeline that isn't really the point. If this would play after Aionios in the new world and the new Vandham guy we see is indeed Noahs grandson that would make Shulk and Rex significantly older than what they look like in this teaser.
      But if you mean that they are stuck in loop of Z appearing everytime I really don't think so but if it's true you will be remembered as the prophet of xb3 lmao

    • @Paradox1012
      @Paradox1012 Před rokem

      @@SuperSavajin I think he means to day that visions of aionios would make the timeline different from aionios. It's not impossible because we don't actually know ,and are never told the "state" of the world's outside of aionios ever (Except maybe FC? , but nothing about alrest) this could be the process of remerging, perhaps this eternal recurrence is inevitable but aionios will help change the outcome the 2nd time around,this world is obviously not aionios.I think some people belevie this because of melia suggesting the city pepole are "future lives" implying they must be created at some point in the future even though it is logistically impossible in the present. Of course, the moment we see mobius N this theory falls apart but I would find it quite interesting.I think this theory qould be a cool twist to give the story some stakes, but I think it's more likely we will get an aionios section and the story will shift to a post aionios section over the course of events.

    The thing about the aging could make sense in 2 ways. Characters that have somehow entered Aionios from the old world don't age due to the frozen time and we only see Shulk, Rex, Nia and Melia czause they were involved with Origin. That or both Rex and Shulk are trapped/captured in Origin by Moebius and being used like Melia was, hence why she also hasn't aged because they're keeping them all in stasis to power and control origin (idk origin can make aionios I'm sure it can keep people from aging).
    Another crackpot theory I have is that maybe we don't see other old characters because perhaps only the kids of the current generation ie those of kevesi/agnian soldier age or younger were taken to be put into the cycle. Might explain why Rex is so mad if his kids were taken seeing as we know at least Mio was. If we wanna get really Xenogears about it it could be some maternal/paterntal instinct manifesting in Moebius among all the combined fears of humanity and it could explain the age range of the soldiers

    I have a small problem if this is purely a prequel, as Torna kinda already showed what is needed to make one work...
    Torna worked for me because i already knew and cared for some of the people i would be playing as, like Addam, Mythra, Jin and even Laura. So even if we know where they end up and where their story was going, it was a good time to see how they got to where we are in 2.
    The problem this DLC would face is not having Shulk, Rex and everyone else in 3 at all, so when they show up in this DLC, which we know will be the only time we see them, fully in the past, it's hard to get invested in the characters in this setting, since i have no real explanation as to how they connect to it, which is what Mythra, Jin, Malos and Addam did for Torna.
    So i feel like this DLC needs to also have some gameplay AFTER the end of 3, especially if 3 is meant as the actual ending of this version of the Xeno universe. The end of 3 has a lot of promises to "see eachother again", and i find it strange if they just leave it at "one day, we will see eachother again", and then the series just ends... Both Noah and Mio, as well as Nia and Melia, all talk about finding a way to eventually walk hand in hand again, and i REALLY hope the DLC let's us find a way to eventually connect the two worlds in a safe way... I can live with a bittersweet ending, but when it also sets up a lot of hopeful notions of eventually seeing eachother again, instead of just leaving it at "goodbye forever", i feel the game kinda has to deliver on that promise of seeing eachother again, at least to some degree... I mean, the queens found a way to avoid the collapse of an entire reality, so i don't think it's a stretch to think some Stargate action could be done, linking the two worlds in a safe way...

      I always felt like not knowing what the future will really turn out to be was one of the main concerns and plot points for the game. The reason why moebius didn't want to move on. And our main party had to make the hard decision to just hope that everything will turn out to be alright because even tho it's a scary thought this is how it's supposed to be. So if they really showed us the happy ending after the end of 3 it would destroy the magic a bit and the message of the game. They left us with a glimpse of a hopeful ending which is perfect imo.
      But I can definitely understand why so many people want to see how it turned out even tho the game deliberately made it open ended. And maybe we will see what happens after all in this dlc or even in a future entry.
      The reason I always wanted a founders dlc was because Aionios has so many open questions and if we move on we will never return to get answers. The questions I had about the first ouroboros, lucky seven, riku and what happened to shulk and rex can finally be answered. This dlc will now answer all these questions of aionios while still providing major fanservice stuff and even probably future implications because of what alvis is doing. I think we should definitely trust what Monolithsoft is cooking.

      I feel just like you. At the same time, I want a DLC that explores more about the Founders, the City, Origin, the merging of the Worlds and birth of Moebius, but I also want a DLC that tells us what happened after the end of 3, how the characters lived their lives, and if they eventually get reunited again, because, like you said, the story promissed they would be reunited again. Oh, and another thing that I am most curious about, is where the hell the Conduit went, after the events of XC2.

    This is a minor thing, but I hope they'll address original Noah walking around the City with a sword with the Moebius symbol on it. Or at least exlain where does that sword come from, since it's basically Lucky Seven.

    • @SuperSavajin
      @SuperSavajin  Před rokem

      @electricneel Před rokem

      @@SuperSavajin I feel like that would be way too big of an error to not be intentional. Since that Noah did end up becoming N, it makes sense that his sword looks the way current N's does. But there's a lot of confusion on how it exists and its relation to Lucky Seven

    • @SuperSavajin
      @SuperSavajin  Před rokem +1

      @@electricneel No his lucky 7 is a different lucky seven. The artbook shows them side by side and they are clearly 2 different swords. That still doesn't explain the blade weapon having the moebius symbol before he became moebius and was an ouroboros through many incarnations.

    • @electricneel
      @electricneel Před rokem

      @@SuperSavajin Yeah I know. I'm saying that the sword original Noah and N uses are the same one, the one with the Moebius symbol. Different from the red Lucky Seven our Noah uses. But because N was the original Noah and our Noah was given the red Lucky Seven in this current life, it makes sense. As for why he has it back then, we still don't know. It could be because at the point we see him, he has chosen to protect the Endless Now, so his sword has the infinity on it.

    • @Movel0
      @Movel0 Před rokem

      @@SuperSavajin They could've just not shown it at all. Everyone on Aionios keep their Blades hidden when they're not using them and its only purpose in that scene was for N to remark he's not good at naming things, which is I assume the reason why it's called Lucky Seven.

    There's no reason to believe people from Onis or Alrest don't age in Aionios because both Melia and Nia ended up in stasis shortly after the universe fusion. Melia was forced into stasis against her will and Nia entered stasis to hide and regain her strength. So the game explains how both of them lived and why Nia has no hints of flesh eater syndrome despite over 1000 years passing.
