    Forward Adjustable Riser was removed on the 23 MXZ models also.

      Hmm interesting! Just took a look at that. So it was available on renegade 137 850s last year but not on 129 mxz 850s. Weird. Now its only available on renegade again but renegade is only 4 stroke. Cheers, Jesse

    It’s not just the brake lever. It’s also a 4 piston brake caliper. That gives you less brake fade and smoother / stronger brake application.

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Před 9 měsíci +1

      You are correct! I knew that but for some reason didn't actually mention it in the video because I was too excited about the adjustability of the lever lol. Cheers, Jesse

    I just added the new LED signal kit to my 2024 MXZ XRS 137. Brilliant idea from BRP!!! The LED's are super bright. Super easy install but don't forget the small spacers for the caps...

    Sweet ride for sure. Are you getting the new Ice Scratchers (made for Smart Shocks) that fit at the front, rather than the back ? Am going to replace my current ones to the ones that fit at the front on my 2022 900 turbo r.

    A little off topic but....have you guys talked about booking Vince Roy's A-frame on the French River? A collaboration video would be AWESOME with Beaver Tail Toys 😊

    • @sledaddicz

      That would be awesome! I have seen Vince's place and it looks beautiful. Our seasons are usually so busy that I can't promise it but we can definitely add it to the list. Cheers, Jesse

    Why dont you just stud the 1.5 ripper with 96 1.625 inch studs. I ride that set up and I love it. If you ride big miles you traverse alot of weather. I find the 1.5 to be the sweet spot IMO

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Před 9 měsíci

      I used to run the 1.5 ripsaw - I am not a fan of prestudded tracks. How I look at it is if I'm going to stud it why would I pay more for a prestudded track? For me its more so that Ski-Doo didn't offer a 1.5 ripsaw. If they did I would have gotten it. Cheers, Jesse

      @@sledaddicz tunnel protection comes factory installed. And you don't have to do a track swap which costs time and money

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@KliqDon1983 tunnel protection only comes factory installed if you option the sled with a prestudded track. When I am paying big $$ on a sled, I want it to perform how I want that's why I swap the track. Knowing I wanted a 2 ply track which ski-doo doesn't offer, I ordered it with the prestudded that way it would come with the tunnel protectors so it would be one less thing for me to install. Also.. our buddy does the track swap for us and sells my track for me so I hardly pay anything besides the labour to swap the track and install my studs. Cheers, Jesse

    Regardless of what most people think, your sled will handle better with the standard fixed riser. Everyone runs the FAR too far forward. Your dealer has your sleds bars set perfectly right now inline with the steering post.

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Hey Scott! Interesting.. I usually ride the FAR in the mid position. I move it forward mostly in real tight and twisties when trying to keep a pace. I've gone back and forth between other XRS's and X's with fixed risers and I find myself I much prefer the FAR and my sled handles great for me. Cheers, Jesse

    • @scottrocher1388
      @scottrocher1388 Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@sledaddicz Its the same as bar risers. There is a lot of physics in play with where your handlebar is set in place. Its funny. I took the FAR off my 23 and I was happy to see it gone for MY24. As long as you like it, thats all that matters but give it a try with the fixed steering mount before you make a final decision.

    Did you move the 3rd idler wheel to the inside or are they coming like that now on the smart shox? I had moved mine to the inside on my 23, my ocd couldn’t take it!

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Před 9 měsíci

      I didn't touch the idler wheel so I guess they moved it. My OCD wouldn't have been able to handle that either lol. Cheers, Jesse
