I traded in/sold my Vespa 300GTS and MP3 500 to purchase a BV400. My garage was crowded, needed to simplify. The Vespa was great in town but unstable on my 60 mile commute to work, The MP3 great for the commute but heavy and bulky in town. I wanted an "All Rounder" I think the BV400 will accomplish this. What really impressed me with the BV 400 was low speed handling and that magnificent clutch. So smooth, no chatter, no surge.

Wet clutch makes smooth start. First question before purchase is: " What are my needs from the wehicle?" When you answer that question, answer is clear. Tumbs up for BV. Safe ride to all of you!

Whether one scooter is better than another is a purely subjective judgement. Personally I love the Beverly 400 although the seat height is indeed a problem if your inside leg is less than 76 cm. I find the seat to be very comfortable on long rides.

Thx for the review! I ve got mine new Beverly 400 S last week. I sold my old Downtown 300 (great scoot). So, these days in Croatia is hard to get any new wehicle. My favourites where Forza 350 (not avaliable), X max 300 and BV 400 S. Power was the main reason (often ride two up and rides out of city)i why i choose BV 400 and wet clutch
