The season is long and had lotsa races..that's it. And he only had two dnfs. Hungary he completed and got 1 point
Hamilton also got a lock
YEAH HAMILTON!!!! GET THAT 8TH CHAMPIONSHIP BRO!!!
Congratulations to Alonso!!! Also that post-race interview was funny 😂 You could see how happy he was. CANT WAIT FOR THE NETFLIX episodes

Alonso is a monster. Alpine was amazing team this weekend.
Been watching since 96 seen some battles , and just savouring this immense battle !

Im so happpppy this year his caameback and unbelievable podium TT lets go third world champion 2022!!
Congratulations to Fernando on the 3rd place at the finish line, last podium was in 2014 at the Hungarian Grand Prix 7 years ago

Fernando-Tell Esteban to defend like a lion
ALONSO LIKE A FATHER
Laugh out loud! when the tire bombed, it's so hilarious.
"Max is not our race" and Gasly let him through...why is nobody talking about that?! If it was Hamilton who was given such an easy pass the comments section will be filled with all sort of complaints...interesting
Not really. I still remember Kubica on the Renault in 2010 being told "Hamilton is not our target, if you're gonna lose time or wear down your tires defending, just let him pass."
@Futre….that was 11 years ago. That’s the closest example you can remember? You made my point
We need to give some credits to Lewis and Max, the way the two are able to pull away from the pack at a consistent pace is crazy (not just today but in several other races this year)
Those two are on a league on their own.
The Alonso simps care about his lucky podium only.
@@venkatakrishnaiahpaladugu9133 This is the dumbest thing I’ve read today.

@@Firebolt1729 that makes no sense in the context of what I said.
Max would've started to sweat a little from his bra by now
Although I have a huge support to Red Bull (especially Max and Checo), I am happy for Alonso that he has his first podium in 7 years... I can sense that Nando is on his prime once more. :))
Stewards: Track limits are widened.
The Track: I dare you, I double dare you!
I feel for Sergio, he probably overtook more people than everyone else combined, but lost 3rd because of an (imo) unnecessary pitstop
Not really, others were getting punctures and if it weren't for the vsc he would have gotten a puncture. Alonso was very close to getting one and perez had older tyres
Tbf its more of a precaution regarding the punctures. RB just playing it safe because they need those points
Bottas as well. Really seemed like he can battle for 3rd or 4th and then...
If he'd have gotten a puncture, bye points. He would have caught up to Alonso if it weren't for the VSC. Unlucky for Sergio but i feel like Alonso deserves the result.
They should have staggered strategy. Go long with Checo, put hards halfway thru the race. Easy podium.
The Hamilton and Verstappen fans, cheering together in the grandstand, reminded us what F1 should be. Made me smile. Go Max!!
Most beautiful sight ever

,,Could it still go down to the Wire?"
OH Corfty it did. It CERTAINLY DID.
Checo loves to do a show of overtakes when people say “in some tracks is difficult to do overtakes”.
Two things I didn't expect coming into this season... Alonso and Vettel on a podium.
Both did it with their underwhelming cars and on their pace alone. Obviously they needed some other drivers (Merc and Red Bull cars namely) to make mistakes and lose those podium positions, but still, they are both driving complete midfield cars.
Although the Alpine this week was amazing all weekend. Arguably the 3rd or 4th best car.
True true. What about the William's front row start in Spa. That's gotta be the shocker of the year.
True Alonso and Seb deserved those podiums badly. Both of em being ex- Ferrari drivers too.
Only if Kimi could get on podium......
@@mohammadamaan5607 that would be very special. Like his victory in USA I think after ages. Atleast we know Kimi will be no unhappier than usual even without 1 last podium.

What. A. Race. Aside from those curbs this track is amazing to watch and I’m sure it’s insane to race on. Congrats Alonso! The fight is still on for max and Lewis too
This race was expected to be boring and without any overtakes. Turns out we actually saw some great driving!
Tbh checo made that race intresting with 13 overtakes and with a bad pit strategy hunting down alonso with more overtakes made this race alot intresting
Those late punctures did help create some drama though
@@DooM_-_gAmeR_-_ anybody with a sensible mind wouldn't have done that bad pit stop strategy on checo. Lost an easy 3rd place.but happy for Alonso.
@@janishhasheer5548 I think they were going to try to push til the end til valteri's tyre failed.
If you count the countless DRS overtakes where drivers could barely defend as genuine passes, then yeah, there were loads.
Alonso was basically the only one who was actually up for a race beyond turn 1.
The atmosphere for Qatar seemed very, I don’t know, sanitized? Race was decent but nothing about it felt unique or memorable, unlike the last three races that were full of personality.
Imagine if Alpine nails the 2022 regulations. Fernando has so much experience and he still has the skills to go for a title fight.
