Pro-Hamas protesters do not show their faces in public because they do not plan on peacefully protesting. They plan on brawling with the police, brawling with pro-Israel protesters, taking over buildings, and holding people hostage preventing them from leaving. Pro-Hamas protesters are The Far Left Wing version of the J6ers which means pro-Hamas protesters hold no moral high ground over the J6ers.
Stop calling them kids. They are adults. They need adult consequences. Period.
I find myself calling them kids because they are the age of our kids.

Fair call. I skipped my second graduation (and even the first didn't mean that much) but for some people it's a big deal. Protesters shouldn't be allowed to interfere with that.

Why are you blaming TikTok when the k-12 teacher training programs (led by Columbia) have all embraced the educational philosophy of the Brazilian Marxist Paulo Freire, whose “Pedagogy of the Oppressed” has led to terrible progressive pedagogical methods like SEL and the rise of the pathological Oppressed vs Oppressor mindset. What did you think would happen to these students after a steady diet of Howard Zinn and Frantz Fanon? The entire point has been to radicalize them.

Most of those protesters are not concerned about who the college has financial ties with. It’s the next level annoyance from blocking bridges that gets max media coverage so that’s what they’re really after.

Protesters have the right to protest

You neglected to mention that Hamas attacked the humanitarian crossing in Rafah, killing 4 IDF soldiers after Israel dropped leaflets calling for citizens to evacuate. The timing is not irrelevant nor is the fact that Hamas has steadfastedly refused all deals, until now.
Your commentary was spot-on. I wish these students could understand on a soul level the destructive power of fanaticism and how their good intentions are being used for evil. Critical thinking seems to have been replaced with ideology, and hitting one's "feel good button" has replaced taking logical and constructive steps to solving a problem. These students have the moral fortitude to stand up against their government's complicity in genocide.
