The DSV website doesn't say much about the type of goods they handle so I try to find out more.
Security come out and have a very interesting way of thinking in terms of photography. We eventually persuade him to check with a manager and he is never seen again.

@@lizcollinson2692 so have I (7 years). It was hard to believe the stupidity of many of them. Some of the things I saw security guards say and do left me gob smacked. You needed a guard to watch the security guard. The worse ones were ex army privates. Complete and utter cowboys. The ex officers were OK though.
You can see a patern emerging here, the tinge, the accent the poor knowledge of the English language. When i hear that accent when i answer my phone at home the phone is put straight down!, some call me a "Realist!!"

As a security officer. Security are trained in certain things and when it comes to what they don't know they need to find out what's right from someone they do know.
I think the problem is that a lot of security on these videos are from foreign lands where laws are different so these security officers rely on the knowledge they bring with them.
He mostly did his job but he also tried giving orders to a member of the public without knowing the law and thats why security guards need to handle certain things and hand other things off to management.

How bad is the training for security in the UK, that they seem to think they can make laws up. Shouldn't these guards ensure they understand the law around current trends that effect their jobs. Seeing as drone flights and audits are getting more popular these should enhance the knowledge and understanding.

You have heard of DSV as its a massive maritine importer and distributer, old name dfds on trucks being renamed to its global name DSV.
There are lots of DSV centres everwhere in the area, Thrapston (Has Ikea and was the old the UGG centre before this Pboro new building being built).
What makes me smile in these videos were they come out telling you 'you can't, need permission' etc is they don't appear to be bothered the likelihood of a plane, other aircraft, maybe the potential for some space junk or a meteor even falling from the sky, as most of these heavy fast moving things will be either flying or orbiting around in the air over their business at any time. Yet a person with a 249g drone and they start to panic and spouting about private property including the air space. Again if it is so private as you mentioned build a big fence around it, with a lid on top just in case anyone should fly over their business! 😃

I liked that security guard. He had panache and style. Yes he was misinformed, as you mentioned DJ, but I believe he handled the experience very well and communicated with you in a very succinct, dispassionate, non-threatening way. I believe other security agents can learn a lot from him.
His training was clearly inadequate but I squarely lay the blame for that at his trainers feet, which reflects entirely upon the exceedingly poor standards of training in the UK Security Industry overall.
After watching so many of your videos, its surely time to utilise the many lessons of improper behaviour demonstrated by security workers to create a new UK, high level training agency!

They are trained by all sorts of companies under SIA guidelines, but some of just trying to cash in and I've even heard stories of 1-Day Courses (impossible to learn all the modules) and even of companies doing your exams for you.

I think what these companies don’t understand is that they spend a fortune on brand and logos and often have flagship HQ or buildings built to highest specs or / and in prominent areas which will attract interest. Yet they are often stupefied when the results of all their efforts to promote themselves works brilliantly, as it is bound to do with the amount of money and advertising invested.

Can I Shoot Footage in Public without Consent? No, if you take a picture of somebody in public, you will have to ask them for permission if they are recognisable. You can still shoot in public since you have a freedom of panorama, if photographing landscape or a building and they're in the shot.4 Apr 2019. Spanish law.👍
I think that you can have a dashcam, you are not aloud to film the police so if you have a accident and the police are called you have to inform them that you have a dashcam, so I believe

Worked in the planning offices, DSV organises transport and logistics warehousing across the continents, primarily norway finland sweden denmark germany netherlands belgium, we have depots all over the country some small some medium size like here and others really big, purfleet immingham and mercia park are the traffic heaviest depots
Me old man used to sub contact for this mob, he had about 12 wagons out of 1 depot. Think they used to be called DFDS if I remember rightly. He used to deliver all sorts of crap.
