- The famous British ocean racer, adventurer and author Pete Goss has sailed more than 250,000 nautical miles at sea. He and his wife Tracey also lived and sailed two years and a half aboard their Garcia Exploration 45 "Pearl of Penzance”, they finally sold in 2020 for family reasons. So, that’s with the connoisseur’s point of view that Pete shares his impression after a sailing session on board the Garcia Exploration 52.
Those were incredible words of wisdom from an experienced world sailor!
This is may dream boat . Love every time I see a new video for it . Thanks for showing and hope to see more of the Exploration 52 and the Exploration 60 .
I could listen to Pete all day long and soak up his knowledge!
I'd love to see an in-depth tour of the 52 like it was made for the 45
I’ll watch anything with Pete Goss on it, a genuine hero.
That's what I'm talking about. The 52 has a better internal layout. Though similar, it has much more storage for gear and folding bikes. Better cabin space. The full capability of this vessel design. Safe world cruiser, comfortable destination cruiser. Very nice.
Would be very interesting to hear what Pete thought about the Oceanvolt electric engine. (no delay in startup, instant torque, low noise, no horrible smell, virtually no upkeep/maintenance, independent fuel source (sun), etc)
Thanks you verry much Sir : Dreams are the life fuel 🤝
Dream, and then act on it!
This boats an absolute tank…..love it.
Annapolis USA I hope to one day have one. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I would like the 60 feets, really nice
Que nave más increíble 💙⛵
Is this a boat one can solo sail?
Video title says “Sailing session...” Where is the discussion about the actual sailing characteristics of the exploration 52 in the video? A few b roll snippets of sailing... but what about the actual hands on sailing performance and stats upwind and downwind under sail or a discussion on stability or motion of boat at sea?
Well said so where are you now !,,

What about sailing in light wind?
I prefer the 52. Better storage for supplies etc .
Is the Explocat 52 equipped with a skeg to provide substantial protection against underwater debris? This is exactly the catamaran that my wife and I will buy. I would like to take this opportunity to ask about it after a bad experience we had with a large log during a nighttime sailing.Thank you.
