Hey all! Director of the film here - greatly due to the popularity of this video, and the views provided by the great SCP community, I've almost reached 100 subscribers. This has been my goal for a long time; while it may be very small compared to most other content creators, the idea that 100 people would be interested in seeing my future works is an amazing one for me. As an aspiring filmmaker, the fact that anyone outside my immediate friends and family can enjoy my work is huge. She will lose, and your bloodline will be forever tainted by your poor decision to fuck a waterlogged illusion.

To put it into perspective, this SCP is a cognitohazard. The phrase “I do not recognize the bodies in the water” is used to test the effects of the SCP. If you are able to repeat the sentence, you are not affected. If you do not repeat the phrase, you have been affected. When affected, the individual will begin to recognize the bodies in the water as close relatives and friends. The subject will believe they have endured a tragic accident. Subject will then jump into the water joining them and perishing.
But then there is also the chance that the Foundation is covering up the actual nature of the skip (reading the hidden messages makes you wonder what’s really going on)

There's enough mystery around it for the writer/director to come up with a storyline, but there are also set scps that already have a bit of a story to them. Seriously though, if this whole thing is done right, a Class of '76 horror/mystery movie could be a real hit

No. SCP is best as mind fuel that you read. I have my imagined idea about how the foundation looks, operates, feels etc. You have yours. Other people have theirs. It's the greatest wiki of them all, and it needs to remain pure.

Well, I don't think distance matters so long as you SEE the bodies. According to the article, a vandal saw the lake from all the way in the city from the top of a water tower, and somehow recognized the bodies in the water.

Not all SCPs are scary, and not all SCPs are violent, anomalous creatures. There are a lot of SCPs that are the weird but interesting. Some SCPs are even beneficial and compassionate.

Only criticism I'd give is the noise of the camera being shuffled or the camera's reflection in the glasses. Otherwise, wow, that was actually really good. It told just enough and did it well. Nice job.
