Except this idiotic action cannot be prevented once the victim does recognise the bodies in the water. This is SCP- 2316, an Cognitohazardous Anomaly that takes the form of an lake. Bennett G. Paton will no doubt go down as one of the greatest filmmakers and directors ever. And I am not saying that you should limit yourself in any way, but your SCP-2316 short did blow up, and Lot1 Productions is making a live-action SCP series. The first episode is out now and I'm sure you would fit right in. Btw I am in no way connected to them other than a fan and an enjoyer of both their and your content.

you know what's really creepy. he wouldn't come here for no reason. my theory is that. The second victim was Doug. The first Was Emma. Either they came here together or seperately. They both experienced the effects of SCP 2316 and then proceeded to drown in the water. Isaiah Littlefield Has obviously come here to Mourn or think. This place brings him closer to them because its the last place he saw them. That even further confirms his skeptism when he says, " do not recognize the bodies in the water". The scariest part is obviously that his friend's bodies and several others are buried in the mud of the lake but the effects makes you hallucinate that they are floating ontop of the lake. probably passed out from drowning in a state where they can still be saved. its really spooky if you think about it. I DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE BODIES IN THE WATER
i love the attention to detail. at 1:14 the only way to not be affected is to repeat this phrase but you have to say it almost robotically. In a way that your not questioning it, your stating it. Listen to the way he says "I do not recognize the bodies in the water" his saying it like. Yeah Okay. i dont recognize the bodies in the water whatever. Literally this skeptism without true belief of SCP 2316 means as soon as you cross the yellow line, your a goner. But that means anyone who just wants to enjoy a casual view of SCP 2316 would constantly have to robotically repeat, i do not recognize the bodies in the water............... oh wow its such a beautiful *i do not recognize the bodies in the water* Day today :)

"The day is thirty-second thirty-second thirty-sec- thirty-first of December, twenty fifteen, exactly twelve A.M." The smart watch said. "Huh, weird. Usually never glitches. It must be low on battery or something," Unidentified-035 mumbled to himself. "I'll just charge it after the walk on this "new" path." He continued walking down this unfamiliar route, unaware he was already a few hundred metres away from his skoolie. A few minutes later, he came across a sign. "Turn around now?" He read. "What's that supposed to mean?" He continued walking, trying to figure out what that sign meant. As he walked further down the pavement, he encountered even more of those odd signs being put up everywhere. "Probably just a bunch of idiotic teenagers pulling a prank." He said to himself, thinking he had figured out why those signs were there. After walking for a few minutes, he saw an impaired bridge, with a sign beside it saying "YOU DO NOT RECOGNISE THE BODY IN THE WATER." Upon reading it, he cursed "These kids are fucking sick." He then decided to cross the bridge, wanting to find out what there is beyond it. Suddenly, he received a text notification from his wife. "Where are you? It's getting late." His wife asked. "Just walking around." He replied. Just as his wife was typing, his signal died and he went offline. "Darn internet." He exclaimed. He turned around, and walked back, furious at the fact his WiFi randomly disconnected. At the side of his vision, he saw something emerging from the water. He turned to look at it, and was finally able to make up what it was after a few seconds of straining his eyes. "Honey? Is that you?" He questioned anxiously. As time passed on, more and more familiar bodies started to emerge from the water. Out of worry and anxiety, he quickly walked towards the space-black water, taking off his shirt in the process. He jumped into the water in an attempt to save his wife, family and friends. Before even reaching one of the bodies, he drowned. He was never heard of again.
