People don't understand just how dominant Morten Anderson was. Played from 1982-2007. 5 First team all pros, 7 pro bowls, 2 golden toes, only missed 10 extra points in his carrer... I can go on. I'm glad Morten is getting recognized.

Morten Andersen was one of the greatest kickers of all time yet he's in the shadow of Tucker IMO who's simply the greatest kicker i've ever seen. I do think the video would've been better with Vinatieri however his career was so long that they were contemporaries for a good while there so it defeats the purpose of "generations".

He is the best at what he does. His eyes are always popping out of his head, 24/7 laser focused during game time. Maybe it’s genetics, maybe it’s Gatorade.

A lot of fans do not know he is not just a beast a kicking in the NFL but he is a beast of a
Opera singer. He definitely is one talented individual thats for sure. His 🦵will be in the Hall of Fame for sure one day.

They just talk about how he missed a 64 yarder that went all the way back for a TD. Meanwhile Tucker kicked a 66 yarder the week after no problem

I had the chance to meet Morten Andersen in 1990 when he came to the UK as part of a coaching clinic. I remember he was super fun to be around and a great guy.
That 61 yard game winner in Detroit by Tucker was lucky.

I was at the game...
Kicking is such a cerebral position. You miss it, they get the ball from your miss. Gotta take wind, hash mark position, and so much geometry into account and your FOOT has to be accurate, the snap has to be good, the hold has to be solid on top of all that. The FIELD has to be in good position where you are too. That's tons of pressure in the span of about 3 seconds. Nothing but respect for NFL kickers cuz QB's can throw incompletions, backs can lose yards, receivers can drop passes and be fine. Miss a kick and suddenly your job is on the line and people want you gone.

I was fortunate to be at ben agajainian kicking camp back in the 80s working with norm johnson, benny ricardo, joe danelo all pros. and learning from the best what it takes to kick.
If you a kicker and in the hall of fame you have to have been pretty good

You could see the real emotions on Morts face when Tucker acknowledges him as Hall of Famer and legend of the kicking game
It is so amazing that Justin and Morten get to protect their brains against concussion. Justin has to protect that beautiful mind and voice!

Gary was great when he was younger, then really overrated when he was old. The Vikings would just go for it on 4th, if it wasn't a very makable FG for him. His stats were padded the last few years or so.

Not a lot of people know most kickers are were great soccer players. That's why most of them have European or South American last names
Morten almost made it to Danish football national junior team. Football as in soccer. He was that good kicking the ball. If Europeans ans South Americans really would focus on kicking field goals, they'd take the league over. I have seen soccer players hit 50+ yard FG's without never kicking the ball before. Of course with no snap and hold, or anyone trying to block it.

I am a lions fan: Tucker Krueger is the nightmare on Ford field st in Detroit☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️🕳️ and lions fans don't enjoy seeing him come out at the last moment of the 4th quarter when it's a one or two point game.
