Because overall is the average rating for a player. U add up all their rating stats and divide by the amount of ratings there are. That’s their overall. Kickers only have high ratings in kicking so they aren’t gonna have high overalls. RB’a and QB’s and DT’s have more high rated slots so they are more likely to have a higher overalls. Kickers don’t need to be high overalls as long as they have good kick ratings
Kickers and punters don't have that many stats to make their overall 99 but if kicker has 99 kick power and accuracy it basically makes the kicker 99

I am pretty sure they only worked on improving his Kick Power and Throw on the Run, that is why it wasn't mentioned.
@@jakevader4029 he showed the accuracy by making the field goal. If he just kicked it and it went 67 yards without going in, then it would only be kick power. They prolly shoulda increased accuracy to 99 too. They prolly didn’t wanna make him too overpowered.
@@ML-gz3eq I do agree, accuracy is like his #1 strength. He should have a 99 in that. And Tucker did show his accuracy in the video, but they never asked the Ratings Adjuster what is required to get a 99 kick accuracy. They only asked what is required for a 99 kick power.

For kickers it’s all about awareness. The only ratings that matter are power, accuracy, and awareness. They adjust the awareness to make kickers’ overalls go up or down. I don’t even think it matters how “aware” the kickers actually are in real life.
only thing awareness for a kicker affects in madden is likelihood of a FG being blocked.
@@spencervaux honestly idk what it effects in madden. I think kickers with high awareness are less effected by wind and punters with high awr are better at getting the right spin on the ball to get a good bounce. All I really know is that kickers need a high awareness to have a high ovr regardless of their pwr and acc.

When did they do this? Because his ratings are still at 98 for power and accuracy and his throw on the run is 20. None of those ratings have changed since game launch (according to ea's website).
EDIT: EA did update his rankings this week. Don't know when they actually filmed this but he's got a 99 KPW and 23 Throw on the run so that's pretty cool they actually did it.

@Joey Cones It still does not add up. The video was uploaded recently, but definitely not filmed recently. Baltimore does not get that hot in October. You could expect 100 degree tempatures as Tucker pointed out in the Summertime. Are we supposed to believe that Madden would not update Tucker's ratings until after the video is released 3 months later? Because that is very out of character for Madden. They usually make those updates asap.

How is the even logical if the record for longest field goal not even 65?
