    Blindfolded detailing 😂. Not sure if it’s going to be a money spinner for you Dave. Brilliant video and a great DA package. Any chance of seeing sealant or wax applied with the DA. I do this on mine but probably go a bit too high on the speed. Usually go 3 to 3.5 when it’s not needed.

    Hi Dave, excellent video as someone who has never machine polished a car before I would be comfortable using this polisher. I do have one question in regards to understanding different compounds etc:
    Cutting compounds would be to remove defects? And then polishing compounds would be the final finish?
    On the box with the speed settings I guess you would start by cutting, then polishing and then finish with glaze/sealant? Is there a compound that does everything or do you have to use different compounds + pads?

    I've got a bug bear question as a newbie. Alot of compounds incl Zvzzer specifies very low rpm of around 1500rpm. But the infinity wax DA & others have a min speed of 2200rpm. What do we do? Is the specification wrong or are these DA polishers too powerful and damaging the paintwork? Thanks.

    • @allymacmillan7986
      @allymacmillan7986 Před 20 dny

      That's almost impossible for anyone to answer but it's a very common question.
      There are so many variables, how bad is the paint, how good do you want it to be, how hard is it, how thick is the clear coat, what is your experience with machine polishing.....
      Your own technique will play a bigger part than the machine, the pads or the compounds will.

      If you are finding the need to polish the car a few times a year, have you thought about changing the protection you have on it? I do understand that many folks enjoy polishing, and applying products, but for myself I would be looking at a ceramic coating, even just a "lite" coating which lasts a year or two

    • @epicautomotivedetailing
      @epicautomotivedetailing  Před 23 dny

      No it's not the same, what happens is most machine polishers, pressure washers etc are made in the same factories but certain manufacturers make it to certain spec so in this case some machines may have the same triggers, power and accessories but internals will be different. The motor inside this polisher is outstanding. The smoothness is the best I've personally experienced from any polisher in this price bracket 👌
