you can get a pretty good pc under 1000 dollars....often under 500, thats still better than any console.
not knowing what to do? its like lego, there are thousands of tutorials, even a gorilla can follow, not to mention a human...and for compatibility, just go to an online pc shop builder page. when you have the parts you just have to plug everything where it fits

Yeah, since nVidia doesn't recommend more than 2 cards in SLI and the drivers no longer support 3-way and 4-way SLI as of november 2016, it would be not only wrong but utterly stupid to put more than 2 GTX 1080 inside a PC.
The 32GB of RAM is debatable, I would argue for at least 64GB at this price range, not only that but GSkill has 128GB of DDR4 @ 4000mhz so, and I doubt very much that this system RAM is clocked any higher than 2667mhz because of stability issues.
The only thing that is for sure is that for this kind of money, it's not worth it. But then again, it's a total custom system with the best parts there is, so if you're like this guy in the video and doesn't have a clue as to where to begin building your own system, than it's worth it.
You're paying for the custom case, custom liquid cooling, and all the water blocks. It's not just the hardware. It's got $2500 of hardware in it.
Dude, any pre-built you are buying is a rip off. They are meant for people who cannot build their own rigs. Do you build your own truck when you want a new one?

Titan X's dont do that good in SLI, the 1080s are slightly better to have in SLI than having a single card, and having 3 or more is a waste because one will always be at like 0% throttle

TechCertIT I would probably reseat the connectors depending on how they are connected. The connection probably came a little loose during transport, however if I spend that much money I wouldn't even want to have to touch the internal components.

dude i assure you this isn't needed. It's overkill as hell. It took me around a year til i could afford all the parts i needed but at the end of it i ended up spending around 520 dollars and my pc runs anything i throw at it. It's running witcher 3 at 1080p ultra on 60 fps and bf4 around 80 fps also on ultra. while i haven't tested it because i do not have a 4k monitor i belive it will have no trouble doing 4k resolution on high settings, probably not 60 fps but should be pretty close.

Firstly, you should never get a cheap PSU, they could destroy ALL components in your PC.
And secondly, DDR3 ram is not recommended for skylake CPU's, and can take years off your cpu's life.
Jaysonfred i don't think so, the gtx 1060 isn't really power hungry. I have built a couple pcs in my day and always saved money on psu's and i am yet to have a problem with them. ( never used amd gpus tho) As for the cpu, i am aware but as far as i know there hasn't been any evidence that proves i really can't do it so i wouldn't worry about it for now. there seens to be alot of mixed opinions on the matter so i am not bothering with ddr4 ram and it's more expensive aswel.

Abraham Mc watercooling is way more than 300. waterblocks alone for 2 1080's is around 300. fittings are around 4-6 per fitting depending on the company. Coolant is 16 per liter. radiators in a 480mm form as we have here are 100 each. Water cooling is a lot more to it than 300.

some liquid coolers dont have to be changed. i have the corsair h100i gtx, pretty much no maintenance at all.
That's a closed loop cooler, you can't even change the liquid. With a custom loop, you do have to change the water once in a while, depending on what kind of liquid they use

Not true. The 1080's and cpu alone cost more than that. 6950x=$1,700 | GTX 1080 = $680.
$680x2=$1,360. $1360+$1700= $3,060 and that isn't even counting in tax.
You have to factor in storage, ram, motherboard, case, cooling system, and psu.
It's their custom cooling and cases. Cheapo and overpriced, and possibly engineered to leak over a short period of time.
Pretty sure they don't want to replace two gtx 1080 everytime a customers complains about a leak. For the price it cost they must do a good job. If you can afford a pc of that price you can get yourself a lawyer to sue them if anything happens so I don't think they will make it to leak.

LOL I have built systems for WAY less that would compare to this. Given it was for myself so I did not have to include my labor. I suppose if you factor in my student loans which I paid to learn how to do this yeah it would be at least $7-8 thousand. Seriously, I go online find parts that mesh and then order them. When they all arrive (usually in 2-4 days) I put them all together and presto! Liquid cooled is the way to go with a 8 or ten core cause anything else it gets too hot. That is most of the tubes you see. Otherwise a regular MB with ram and HD's in a big box with lights which are cool but I can do that for well under $100. The hard drives I use also are SSD which at 1 or 6 TB I doubt this guy has. SSD are way more reliable. When it breaks.... email me and I can fix it for you.
They didn't do the best job, they totally could've made it a rigid water cooled build for that much money. But he's a console pleb, so it doesn't really matter.
No need for liquid on 8 core or 10 core , do not underestimate the top notch air coolers man. Ofcourse it is better but it is also much more expensive, more work and requires maintenance much more frequently than air coolers.
George k well you could use an all in one liquid cooler, then again i havent used one and i dont know if requires maintenance...puff
For an enthusiast/overlocker, air won't cut it. Water cooling makes a world of difference under sustained load. Name an air cooling unit and I've probably tested it or one in the same family series. Some air cooling units are definitely as effective as some water units, but only if you're comparing something like the Hyper212 Evo to something like the Corsair h50. There is no air cooling unit in the world which performs like a 3 fan radiator and good pump.

30 fps is a bit much for a pc to handle while playing minesweeper, your lucky to get 0.005 fps

Skunkworks requires someone who knows how to work it to operate the damn thing. Jay is on top of that. This computer is super nice, but like, training wheels compared to SkunkWorks.

It's 100% outdated at this point. Especially with the 30 series and the cpus that came out with them. That and I'm pretty sure it's running on ddr3 ram so it's definitely outdated at this point.
