"Don't argue with someone who knows you."
This is a multilayered and deep truth that all should abide.
Deceptively insightful, and tbh, quite obvious once it's been pointed out
Oh for sure 😁
But it's doubled edged
No one knows anyone.
@@gavinwells6911 what
This man is the most creative comedian I know. No cheap jokes despite the incredible rate he delivers new jokes. This is the only sure fire comedian I'd bring a date to.
impalaSS65 Wear a nice shirt. 😄
@@Caperhere Of course! My black T-shirts with white dog hair and heavy metal prints are always a winner, I understand ;)
No cheap jokes? The whole dog impression was cheap, and unoriginal. And it didn't fit the narrative. "Is that the level of challenge you want?" then goes on to admit it's a level he couldn't handle. This sounds desperate.
I recommend some Doug Stanhope or Bill Burr.
I love Dylan, but incredible rate? Lol. He’s made like 4 specials in the past 25 years.
@@happinesstan I disagree with your analysis of the dog joke. It was all his, even thought the theme has been done, so has the theme of relational comedy with "small, weak and useless men", which usually make me cringe and puke at the same time. My final analysis is "hahaha", hence it stands the test.
Bill Burr is my personal all time comedian. I recognize myself and my closest friends in him. He doesn't reach the creative level of Dylan Moran, but I don't need it necessarily to laugh.
Stanhope has some witty twists, but seems tormented by anxiety and lack of self knowledge.
None of them are a good choice for a date. That was a requirement in my comment.
I'd go to a Bill Burr show for the double ticket price, but alone.
This man is an absolute genius. Deep truths, hidden behind absurdist humor. And extremely literate. He deserves infinitely more recognition.
This
Believe me he is well recognised
@@GETAJEWUPYA but not infinitely recognized
He's practically unknown in the US, from what I've seen. I've shown him to 2 people, both couldn't look beyond his accent. They also couldn't get comfy with the speed of his jokes. :/
MRS_D3N1M X his speed can be a problem, but not on YT!😉 He was on Conan twice and also on Letterman.
Adult film: Home Loan 2
Now your talking!

Now that’s a horror film I’ll watch
"...and my overwhelming resemblance to all the villains in history."
"Here's a remote covered in nutella. I thought you'd enjoy that." 😆
How can I also receive this marellous token of love and esteem?😁
"it's a bit windy but you get grapefruit. brilliant. that's the internet"
One of the greatest discoveries of the past month for me has been this comedian. His voice is perfect, he can project… he sounds Shakespearean trained in theatre… like he studied and worked hard… he’s hilarious, he can improvise, a funny creative poet, great delivery. Bravo… he’s brilliant, warm and can hold the audience completely in the palm of his hand. A force of nature, yet so relaxed. Wow. I’d read a good biography on him. What a master. Gratitude!💕🌷🙏🏼☕️
You said it perfectly! I'm 65, hippie liberal, but I'd have to molest him if within my grasp, lol!!
Have you watched Black Books? It's brilliant!
You are in for a treat. I can just watch his videos for daaaaays
it's called 'Irish' 😅
This bloke just riffs so brilliantly, stream of consciousness writ large and in so doing he reveals the essence of the fraught human condition in true Irish fashion.
man he made so many jokes....my brain is not used to this speed
Lol go watch Russel Howard's older stand-up videos
Ikr I see so many comedians drag on the joke before getting to the punchline. Like get to the point already, I'm not here for story time.
Lucinda Norris he’s a cross eyed nonce
Zhin Null you can make many jokes on the way to the punchline...anticipation is usually really fun.
If you like a similar structure but with a little more dark humor check out Sam Morril, his special is free on youtube
I've never heard anyone make a joke about nuclear reactor fuel using the specific term "fissile material". That's great.
This guy should start a book shop
I miss good ol' Bernard Black too!
My new favourite comedian 🍾
“You become a jelly baby with a few quid” 😂😂😂😂 that was the funniest joke
bea haxby what do those words mean?? What are quid?
@@ps7549 jelly baby is a gelatinous candy in the UK, and quid is our currency, slang for 'pound'
@@ps7549 quid means moneeyyy
A jelly baby is told by doctor you are pregnant , who have you slept with? Jelly baby replies allsorts! Stay safe.
@@mikeluke9404 wonderful I laughed
“Why do you never want to put your arms around me anymore!!”
“Because I don’t want two charred stumps thank you very much. No one told me I was marrying fissile material.”
😂😂😂😂😂😂 This killed me.
"All women during the day are freezing because all the kilajoules in their brain are burnt up by knowing everything about everyone in a two mile radius "
God, im dying! It's true!
reminded me of my aunts when they come to visit XD
Any joke where the punchline is "fissile material" is one that validates the cost to hear it live.
it's weird cause the difference between men and women is the kind of topic most comedians would see as hacky, but he's always brilliant in the way he approaches it
Those differences will never be boring. It's the 21st century and we're no closer to understanding one another. If anything, I think we're regressed.
@@Katya_Lastochka preach
I thought the same thing. I worked in a comedy club for 6 years, and normally when comedians get on to the 'men & women' stuff, it's so played out and weak. Moran still manages to engage me with it though. Kudos.
that's because he actually cherishes women - you can tell he loves his wife very much, too.
@@adamdrakestudio actually don't
I'm so happy that he questioned the "adult" in "adult films", because I have never understood it myself...
This man is special, his weird delivery and style is like a mix of James Acaster, Steven Fry and Hugh Lorie multiplied by Bill Bailey. And his ability to completely subvert your expectations in the middle of a normal sentence is incredible.
I'm not sure I could physically handle seeing Dylan live. Every line is eye watering, curling up in laughter-pain genius!
it was one of the highlights of my life I swear to god. he's honestly even better in person XD
Existential, poetic comedy is definitely my style. Dylan Moran is the one!
8:33 What a splendid observation. It's so true. My wife is always freezing during the day - and she knows everything about everybody in a large radius. If I need to know anything about who or what or where, I ask her - or my grand daughter.
I am going to be laughing at "beetroot and vertigo" for days.
Making me laugh on a dark quarantine day, charming and witty as always 👍
Aaaah, I love his mind! Also his face.
"to some who are not familiar with science this may sound like generalizations"

Won’t lie that one flew over my head
@@buttan3399 hi mate, hope you are doing well. Looking forward to the upcoming M&B2

One of the main things that CZcams is great for, is that you can see devastatingly underrated comedians such as your man DM. He observes life, then shows it back to us, truthfully and hilariously. ✌🏼️
Well I wouldn't call someone who is popular across the globe underrated. Come to think of it he's the only modern comedian who came to Serbia
Underrated? He’s bloody Dylan Moran! It seems to be just the US that people are ignorant, the rest of us are in the know.
He's not underrated, if you're into stand up you'll have known him. He tours the world.
So articulate in the way he tells jokes. Seriously layered humour as well. Genius!
I've watched and re-watched this and other things by dylan moran almost 10 times now but i still laugh incredulously. He's hilarious!!
Truly the Salvador Dali of comedy, incredible 🤣😂😄
God, he only gets better and better. I thought Monster was peak, but his new stuff is SO GOOD.
The delivery of his quick wit is his genius!!! ❤
Myself and the hubby are 19 years married today, he's spot on "romote control covered in Nutella"..🤷♀️

New Dylan Moran!
What a gift on this fine morning! 😆
How he remembers all those lines is just amazing
Hehe... That's exactly how I usually question my husband... I had no idea that answering might be such a torture...
"What about this one thinking about moving to Shrewsbury?"🤣🤣
The best Irish comedians like Dylan Moran (probably the best of all) have a keen sense of the surreal rather than the cruel in their observations on everyday life Love that while he speaks fast like most Irish people- he has slowed down his delivery for global audiences and his concepts are so plentiul he rarely swears except for appropriate emphasis in a live environment. Erudite Genius and too talented to indulge in bullying of anyone eg women, fat people/other groups like some UK and US and Australian comics do ( except for Billy Connolly a Scotsman of Irish parents who is also brilliantly surreal and Never cruel, bullying , racist or misogynistic) God bless them both.
'Jelly baby with a few quid.' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How the crime shall be remembered... Ahhahahahahahah!!!. I'm ded. So spot on. Lol
This was the exact running commentary on life that my mother supplied us with, totally free and without anyone asking.
Dylan Moran is a brilliant man
God bless you! You are the first stand up comedian that I ever discovered and you are still the classiest! And I wish you a happy, good and safe life! (That's the wish that covers every thing as far as I can understand). Thank you for entertaining us - the modern day slaves, those around whom the Starbucks was originally built! 🎋
"Marrying fissile material" Absolutely brilliant
"one person in a relationship cant do everything. Itd be unbalanced. So i test the crisps."
😂
I will always love this man and his style of comedy. XD
I can listen to Dylan Moran over and over again; I seem to never get tired his comic dialogues.
Why does he not have a Netflix special ?????
This man is far too good for Netflix!
@@boahnation9932 what appropriate platform would you suggest for him?
too busy babysitting Bill Bailey
@but why Quite different in their comedy. Not even close to the same subjects or style.
lol Chapelle's Netflix specials have been hot garbage. You can tell he keeps dumping them on there because they keep giving him $20mil each time for his NEW EDGY TAKE on steaming broccoli or whatever the fuck he talks about. Most comedians suck, always have, and while Chapelle used to be good, now he's a hack who's shat four terrible specials out in three years and dumped them direct-to-Netflix because no reasonable person would pay for them. But now everyone pretends to like one because it caused controversy. Yeah, it was shit and nothing was funny and Dave Chapelle looks like there are various parts of him beginning to peel, but Buzzfeed seemed pretty pissed about his take on the socioeconomic situation of the Republic Citrus Farmers or summat, so I guess I can pretend to like that special I didn't watch.
Fuck you bro, I've never even been to Bratislava

'Women Walking on Modern Flooring' is my new band name
I dunno what it is about this man but he reminds of great Robin Williams. He has similar delivery and his humor and sarcasm are on point. I love it.
This is the ONLY comedian I binge watch. Repeatedly. No other comes close.
The man is a legend.

I wonder what his wife's reaction was when he rehearsed this.
You've heard it already. "You wearing that shirt?"
She probably helped him tweak the jokes honestly lol. Seems like they have a very healthy relationship

He's the best person I've watched in years. His humour touches every moment of life and makes you laugh.
His humour has made my life so much happier
Dylan is a great observer of human nature.
I honestly thought at parts that the bit AND THEN THE CAGE COMES DOWN would be fitting. Absolutely glorious that he is back.
"..two charred stumps..."😂🤣

It had some good parts, but that last bit had me rolling! The timing and delivery was fanastic!
Nice to see Bernard Black doing well.
I loved Dylan Moran on Black's Books!!! Watched it several times!!!!!
