    People talk about us not having any chances. We didn’t give up much either. It was a defensive chess match. People just don’t appreciate good defensive hockey. Oilers Canucks will have plenty more space for both teams. Offense will open up. Don’t care what people say Saros and that Nashville defence are light years better than oilers. Canucks will have to fight that potent front line. And when I say Nashville is better I mean they play a much more bruising hard nose defensive game. Oilers goaltending and defence is not as clinical. Their offece however is fire.

    As a Canucks fan, I'll be the first to say Vancouver fans can be insufferable. Regular season means nothing. We play like we did in the Nashville series, it could be over quick. It's gut check time. The team needs to figure it out.

    • @kk-en8ns
      @kk-en8ns Před 18 dny +1

      If we play the way we did against Nashville then we are playing some of the best defense we’ve played all year. Styles make games. Nashville played defensive collapsing hockey, tons of blocked shots and grinding and gritty. Edmonton can’t and won’t do that.

      @Xyy2387 Před 18 dny

      @porkwop9171 That's a given and I'm hoping we see that instead of the suffocating series we had to sit through. But let's not assume all four lines will be rolling like it's automatic once the ice opens up. We have some key guys that simply need to get going. I'm not referring to just the lack of points.

    Hmm, the Oilers actually need a much better power play in order to beat the Canucks' penalty kill. It is a known fact that the Canucks can kill most power plays and unless the other team get lucky, they aren't scoring on a power play. Silovs is proven to be a better goalie than Skinner, can the Edmonton defence contain the Canucks offense? We know their goalie cannot match up to the Cancucks' offering and the Cancucks' defence depth is better than the Oilers also. Oilers right now should be worried if they can get through the Canucks' defence AND outscore the Canucks. Their goalie is a giant question mark on their whole team right now. He isn't even able to match up wit the Canucks' 3rd string goalie, what happen if they Canucks get their primary goalie back?

    • @kwan3560
      @kwan3560 Před 18 dny +1

      @@showjax All about match ups. Oilers matched up better to the Kings than the Canucks. And the Canucks matched up with the Oilers than the Kings. Can the Oilers realistically say they can beat Silovs? Or DeSmith? Or Demko? Even Superman has his Kryptonite. Kings was Canucks' Kryptonite, and the Oilers are the King's Kryptonite. Canucks quite possibly is the Kryptonite to the Oilers.
