- Jamaica's most famous street food: chicken marinated with a spicy mixture, then smoked / grilled for more than an hour. Jerk Chicken is juicier than regularly grilled chicken carries a hint of chili.
I’d eat there in a heart beat !! I love my Jamaican brothers I’m Haitian and most our Caribbean people are real hygienic when it comes to cooking.

That's actually very hard work....watching meat. watching the fire, cutting the meat and serving customers. I guarantee you he's spent at the end of the day.

I just left montego bay for my wedding and I went to this place. THE PORK PIT. They have the BEST HOT SAUSAGE In montego bay. Much love and thanks for the hospitality.

I always admire chefs who do one thing and do it perfectly. They spend their childhood learning it or take it up and then do only that one thing most of their life and become masters...I do everything lol..but I notice that when I do a dish many times, I can improve on it and improve on it to make it great. Respect!

This place reminds me of a place my wife and I always come to when we are in Jamaica, called Scothy's(not sure if I spelled it right). Best jerk chicken I have ever tasted. Period!

I was there last week and when I say the absolute best jerk chicken I have ever had! Juicy with that smoked flavor on it was amazing. Even the sauce they served with it sent the flavors over the edge! Damn I wish I had some now!

It's not the chicken or the jerk sauce that makes this video...it's HOW they make it. Look at this....a bbq that uses a metal sheet as a cover....a machete to cut the chicken....on a wood stump...all of which probably hold such amazing flavor. I need to go to Jamaica.

This cook has boots on which is a nice protection for working in that environment with fire and coals all over the place. I have seen some street food cooks in other countries where they work in those environments with what looks like slippers that don't cover all their feet.
