My Jamaican friends made me the same steel drum BBQ here in Vancouver. Telling you there's nothing like makin jerk on it low and slow like this guy on the vid. We stand around it drinking cold beer and eating the fresh veggies from my garden with the jerk chicken/pork. Neighbors be dyin for a piece!

I need help with my marinade, any recipe help would be loved.
I marinate mine and cook it right away and it tastes bomb, and I get madd compliments. That's all that matters.
Only ppl who don't know how to cook worry about those little details.
The spread between my method and your method is probably 5%. It's just food

Second, I have done some traveling from the Caribbean, central America Africa and Europe and living in the NY, I haven't seen or tasted no other cuisine like Jamaica's. No badi naan cook inna merimacka like Andrew and all the great chefs a yaad. Food Boss, you are a real son of the soil, the government should honour you for all that you're doing for the country. We actually met chef Andrew (The jerk champion) on my food tour with Matt. It was epic man! Myself, my brother and his wife had the absolute best time and food with the “Jamaican Food Boss”…!
