Not sure if you seen the post I tagged you in on social media but it was a similar list a few days ago. I love the deck. It's not a brain dead deck and gives you options for almost every situation. Need aggro? play hero and nissa. need control? trophy has you covered in every scenario at instant speed. Fantastic build.

Damn good abzan midrange goodness! I took out Polukranos and put in Kunoros and am making Luurus players cry. It’s wonderful. Also took out one Vraska for one more Garruk.

No not this deck it is my favorite secret deck of the format now it will be everywhere. It is so much fun to play. Made a dope humans version. Runs the guy that makes legendary humans indestructible. And the anthem dude makes hero so much better

It seems the only reason gyruda lost was getting super unlucky in his ability. Like he did it 3-4 times and got jack. Doesn’t seem like that’s a consistent problem. Would like to see this deck play it again.
I made a black white deck that counters these heavy mechanic decks, including Garuda decks. I went from bronze tier 1 to gold winning 95% of my matches. But had I stuck it out I’d of probably made it to past gold

I saw this list day one as well. I made some cuts for the exile all even or odd creatures sorcery. Way too many Gyrudas dominating the meta.

MTG Beginner question: Does it matter what lands Nissa turns into a 3/3 Creature? It seem like you're using discretion with which ones you morph so I'm just wondering. Also @ 27:39 "Nissa 'bout to shake them good goods, them bongos" lmfaooooo
To cut it short: Yes, it matters, for multiple reasons. Being a creature makes the lands more vulnerable to removal, so if you fear a wrath or just need a chumper, you might not want to animate a forest as these are (generally) more valuable than other lands. On the other hand, if you have e.g. only one swamp and four forests, it might make more sense to animate a forest to avoid losing your only black source. Another scenario might be that you need a certain color to cast a spell but have already tapped out all means to produce mana of that color, then you can simply animate a land that produces it to untap it.
