We bought this ION Total PA system because it was cheap at Costco. Our parents attended an event, a picnic organized by the Malaysian Community of Connecticut with Consulate General of New York and Malaysian diaspora in New England. The quality of the PA system they used were so bad, we were not able to make out the speeches made by some of the dignitaries. We bought this many months ago, and coincidentally my sister Anisa is planning a summer bash party in our backyard. What a coincidence! Anyways, this ION PA Ultimate looks cool and it would benefit us for many other events such as weddings, parties, karaoke and more.

Good info on having to be in the mike for it to work best. So you changed mic volume from 7 to ?? What's the range on mic volume? Maybe new cordless Bluetooth microphone be best. Excellent review
This speaker is so unde rated. I sold my soundboks 3 before the 4 came out got more than 80 percent of my money back after 3 years of usage bought this bad boy and now i dont miss the soundboks aside from having to have this plugged in to use its solid!

I got a pair of 400 watt Behringer Eurolive E1220 PA monitors for $30 from a thrift store. They sound great paired with a 500 watt Yorkville Beta 800 amplifier I got for $25 (also from the same thrift store). So I'm good. I just dropped in to mock at that toy you have there :)

I have two of these party speakers and ill tell you this: THEY ROCK. Party goers love the lights, sound volume and wireless mic karaoke.

Is this better than the Mackie Thump S15XT
Try testing the sound not with your own yt video but with a high quality sound file and stand in front not to the side. No surprise that you were able to hear the sound from that distance and you never actually mentioned how the speaker sounds. There is no thing such as an outdoor speaker, it can be ip44 rated against (light) rain but this is not the case seeing the exposed ports on the back. I get that unboxing is a trend but I see no point in making a recommendation right after opening the product, use the product at least a few weeks, preferrably months before recommending. Try making the video short and concise, remove unnecessary stuff in the edit. Good luck.

I bought 2 today from Costco they were 150 each but when you play music like it gets quiet than goes back to normal idk maybe because its new and it needs to be break in

Well i called the company they said it has bass piques or something the amplifier starts shaking like crazy than it shuts off and this was a week ago they still haven’t emailed me back

Yes, the speaker is wireless! you can easily play your phone music through it via Bluetooth. the microphones however are wired. Plus, the provided microphones suck. i bought a pair of wireless microphones and they work wonderfully.
