I was 16 when I saw the AntiChrist Superstar tour.
I still remember the protests outside, the weed rolled up in bible pages and the chocolate covered mushrooms in the line up, the bubbles at the show, the crowd surfing, the smell of piss, sweat, and blood. His intermission speeches, the podium and suits, the steel helmets, the mechanical stilts. It blew my teenage mind away.
I will always keep that 16 year old's memory with me forever.

I grew up with all genres my father collected 1000s of records from music to this day sounds intense greater than new, rare and always embraced creating more. This record in my opinion among many prices the greater masterpieces won't end. And if we think about all of the eras from ww1 to present we are really still going and it can seem gloom chaotic but in it all is a place where we can relate. In that relativity is a common ground and in great music we gain in learning that we have a lot more n common than we think. #peace

@@devilgod136 I am going through something similar. Not to the extent Manson is and the accusations do not compare. But I am being lied about and my son is being kept from me. Seems if a woman accuses a man of doing anything wrong she's automatically believed, might as well not even have a trial.
Sad thing is I want to be father to my child but she has no more use for me sense I refused to put anymore money into her house without my name on the deed. So she lied and had me removed from the house via family court in the middle of a pandemic. Even her words in the paper work say "I think he..." or "he might be...".

I know someone who actually used reverse psychology.
He told the judge he was going to give up on his own child because of the sick lies his ex was telling about him and which where damaging his reputation everywhere and that one day his son would know she was the reason he didn't have a father. Strangely, it worked.

While I agree, the question is, Is he ready to see this? He has had his issues with abuse of drugs and alcohol in the past, not unlike some of the others mentioned. The others mentioned have acknowledged their history and gone through treatment. Yes, I would love to see that doc though.

Bought this in vinyl and the very last note of this song got stuck on repeat. At first I thought it was part of the song but realized the needle was stuck. I thought it was a funny coincidence it happened at the very end of the album on the song Broken Needle. Come to find out, it is intentional. He explained in an interview the vinyl edition has this little special feature. Super neat!

This is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I grew up a hip hop kid. I respect the hell out of Manson.
As we feel abandoned, he comes with this album to save us. Brian reminds us that we are not alone! Every memory, emotion, feeling and experience in life is express in symphony of art.

I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your new album but especially for the last song on it. "Broken needle" made me cry when I heard it for the first time. I'm 18 now, but 18 years ago my mom gave birth 3 months earlier, so I spent only 6 months in her belly. Then doctors put me into the incubator and attached to me PVC. I 've got scars on my feets and wrists to this day. But this was only one thing among others that happend to me shortly after I went out. I was born without ears, they grew later, also I 've got scars on my back thanks to the operation on my cracked lung. The most important verse that made me cry was the last one: "I'll never ever play you again Then I'll put you away" becouse I reminds me of that incubator I was in, and I'll never come back. Today I'm a normal/healthy person like most of us. You hitted me with this song so hard. Song itself and mine story was dark but eventualy in my case it ended very beautifuly. I just wanted you to know.
That's touching and all... But how can you really be reminded of the incubator when you must not have any memories of it? I know almost all of my early life, probably up to about 5, I don't remember much of it at all.
@@cookiesontoast9981 I don't have memories of that time. Just like you said I too remember my life from I was like 3 or 5 years old, but i have one photo of me in that time, stories from my family and scars. Its just like those stories and that photo shaped my memories I don't have.

I'm not one to write "fan mail" but I will say, I've loved your music ever since I heard "get your gun" on Headbangers Ball when I was in middle school. It's not often a band with such longevity can produce an album better than the ones that made them famous, but this is one of those rare exceptions, but maybe not rare as far as you are concerned. Anyway, I just wanted to say "Outstanding" and this is your best album yet. Thank you for continuing to share your art with the world when you could probably already retire. I hope you never stop.

I’ve followed his career for the last 23 years (music, interviews, his autobiography, etc).
If you don’t wanna take his accusers at they’re word, maybe you’ll take Manson at his word.
Look up what his inspiration was for songs like Devour, Into The Fire, & I Want To Kill you Like They Do in The Movies.
Look up his music video for Running To The Edge Of The World (where he basically rein acted everything Evan Rachel Wood said in her testimony.
I’m not gonna say I believe all of his accusers, but I don’t believe that all of them are lying.
I don’t listen to Marilyn Manson because I think he’s a good person, I listen because I love his music.
He’s a musical genius, but he’s also an abuser.

I heard other songs from "We Are Chaos" before "Broken Needle", and like MM's other albums, at least one song let's fly an arrow that hits me straight in my head! I can listen to this song on repeat for days! I've only seen MM in concert once. It was at River Rave in Foxboro, MA, in the Spring of 2001. He was the headliner, and as soon as he hit the stage, I jumped up on the bench I had been sitting on, and I felt like I was home. Then it started pouring rain, and a forked bolt of lightning lit up the sky beyond the stage. It was perfect! Many acts played that day, but only two others owned the stadium. Marilyn Manson understands what some of us need to see, and hear, and is able to deliver that experience to those of us who want it! Someday, I will be there again! 🎶💖🎸🎤🎶
