He has grown and matured with his audience which is really interesting. Not that age matters, but I too have been a fan since I was around 13, I'm now 37 haha. Some artists and bands change too much and alienate their fanbase, but Brian managed to pull it off really well! I think I actually like this style more than some of their harder rock songs like The Fight Song, Mobscene, The Beautiful People, ETC!

Lots of people are hating on these new releases...Why would you want more of the same music from an artist. Music is a form of artistic expression. If an artist expressed the same thing everyday, they wouldnt be much of an artist. Old Manson albums are great, and you can listen to them when ever the fuck you want..These new albums are different, but no less an expression and a good one.
Marilyn Manson does whatever he wants. That's why I like him. To be honest I don't think this song is going anywhere, but I'm still glad there is new material anyway.

I agree, he has a great voice and goes about using it in a very unique way. He's one of those who is also just different and interesting enough to really stand out a cut above so many others. One other example of a musician with a unique voice (in my opinion) is Serj Tankian, the lead singer of System of a Down.
His way of expressing himself through music is different from the majority and has a certain soul to his work as well. They are both distinctly and vastly different from one another, but they both have their own take on their music. I will say though, another advantage Manson has as a musician is how poetic and personal his music really is. Just listening to it is literally therapeutic to me.
