It is great that you had a good set of tools with you, it is always hard to know what tools to keep in your car. I really like the modifications you made to the new sender, great job

Lot of us that owned and or still own these great older full size Bronco's can really appreciate seeing them still in service. I still am kicking my self for selling off our 80, with a 5 speed manual. Now my 65 Willey's CJ5 has to go. Sure wish I had more time to hang around and see where all my toys will end up. Hows your Dad doing Dean. Sending my best, Bear.

Very interesting video. I like your systematic approach to solving problems like this. You're obviously a skilled mechanic. There is an auto repair shop in NYS run by a guy named Eric O who is an expert at diagnosing auto problems. He gets vehicles that dealerships and other shops have given up on. His YT site is South Main Auto Repair. Thanks for the video.

Does your gauge go down quickly form full to 1/2 and a lot slower from 1/4 to E? Mine gets to E and only takes 19 gallons for a 33 gallon tank.

It's much better now since I modified the sender. but yeah it used to. Also helped to bend the float rod a bit. the first inch of travel does nothing at the bottom end. I tested with a ohm meter and bent the rod to get the closest sensitivity at the bottom range. Most important is knowing when your really empty..
