You two are learning Vietnamese SO GOOD!!! Such beautiful and smart people!!
Ahhh thank you. We are finding it difficult but we enjoy it a lot and it’s so rewarding when the locals are smiling when you say something correctly 😀
@@HenryWrideExplores Keep up the excellent work! 😍🥰
@@HenryWrideExplores I’m still trying to find that channel with the American husband and Italian wife, traveling all over Vietnam to enjoy the uniquely delicious Vietnamese food. It’s been a while since I last talked to them.
Once I find it, I will give it to you so you can correspond to the couple 😁
Congrats on 1k followers, you’re doing a great job
Thank you 😊
DaNang is the port of entry for American soldiers arriving in Vietnam 🇻🇳. Da Nang used to have a huge American military base there. American soldiers used to go to My Khe beach to play volleyball, sunbathing, surfing, etc...
You are right .DaNang is the best city in VN .
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Thank you for visiting my country, Vietnam 🇻🇳.
Enjoy and stay safe.
I really don't know why America chose to first land US Marines in Đà Nẵng other than that is a symbolic gesture because it is the heart of Việt Nam.
I think I prefer Đà Lạt for its cooler California-like climate.😅
Ahhh I didn’t know this! Thanks for the information, and thank you for watching the video ❤️

We rarely subscribe but with us going to VN, and you learning the lingo, we are hooked.
Awww thanks so much! That really means a lot to us 🥰
Maybe next time, you could pour that fish sauce onto your plate and mix it up. Then use spoon and fork to eat that, that's the way people in Saigon eat Cơm Tấm. :D btw, love your content and welcome
Can’t wait to try it in Saigon too! Thank you very much ❤️
Lovely video guys. I'm glad you guys love my city. There's one little thing you forgot to mention in the video, all the activities are around the area, you can literally walk and all of that next to a beautiful beach. If yall have time, Bana hills could be a very cool episode. Hope yall enjoy your stay ( Congrat on 1k subs btw🥳)
That’s true!! We didn’t have time to Bana Hills this time, but we will when we come back. 🇻🇳
Thank you for your support!😊
Hi, tôi đã đăng ký và like bạn đã quảng cáo thành phố Da Nang , Cầu mong là bạn hơn 1k like❤💚💓💙
Thank you very much 😊 We now have over 1k subscribers so we are very happy about that ☺️
Danang is so stunningly beautiful and affordable. Vietnamese coffee is really intense and tangy, isn't it?
It is, but it goes so well with condensed milk! I miss it so much 🇻🇳
Good fun AND insightful video. Happy to see you are allowing yourself some time to enjoy each city.
Thank you 😊
Another good one guys, lovely to see you having such a great time. Envious of the heat as it barely hit 15c in Gloucestershire today...another hopeless English Summer.
Hey James! We are having a lovely time ☺️ We have particularly enjoyed Vietnam! It’s funny but everyone here wishes it was cooler and everyone in the UK wishes it was warmer! Where is the perfect climate? 🤔

Hello!! Thank you so much ❤️
Make a intro video, where you came, why you do this trip, how many years, objective, do you quit jobs ? where do you worked ...
That’s a good idea 😁 thanks for watching ❤️
1:33 The type of water you talk about is called "nước nhân trần". It is a type of tea, usually dark brown color. It clears heat, diuretic, and is good for the liver,...Translating its name into English is very difficult, so people named it "human water" so that foreigners can understand it. 33:35 is called "bánh quẩy" or "quẩy", It is a side dish that is often eaten with pho or other watery dishes, but is best served with pho. Sorry if my English is not good, just explain for you to understand. Nice video, keep up going 👍
Your English is really good! Thank you so much for your explanation ☺️ Thanks for the comment and thank you for watching ❤️
@@HenryWrideExplores Thanks Henry, I'm still learning. Btw, my name is Viet, and my older brother's name is Nam, he seems to be the same age as you. Our names combined form the name of my country, VietNam 😁
I just subscribed. Nice vid! I think the gym would be 6am for me. Is it a bit cooler then?
I was never awake at 6am so I’m not sure 🤣 Jokes aside, that day we went to the gym at 3pm and it was extremely hot! It’s much cooler at 8-9am.
Thank you for your support, it means a lot!!! ☺️
"Human water" is actually a type of tea made from the "adenosma caeruleum" plant. Vietnamese people use it as a daily beverage instead of regular tea to boost immunity and improve sleep. It is also one of the traditional remedies of the Vietnamese. It tastes better if you drink it in the morning with a bit of ice. Your video is fantastic.
That’s so interesting, thank you! It’s really refreshing. I’m glad you are enjoying the videos ☺️
Only 2 more. Let's go
🥁 so close!
I'm surprised that English and Italians (plus other Europeans) enjoy Viet cuisine 😋🤤 because I always thought that Europeans would not be used to all the rich and spices that our food has. I've tasted various European cuisines that found they don't have that much favors or spices, including Italian cuisine because spices generally don't grow in Europe and are hard to come by.
Indian cuisine is very popular in the UK and it even has more spices than Vietnamese cuisine
@@ric44n Yes, my professor from England told me this. But I'm surprised that your European taste buds can handle all those spices.
The UK is very ethnically diverse and multicultural. We eat food from all around the world on a regular basis! For example there is a road in East London called kingsland road that has many Vietnamese restaurants. We also enjoy Indian food, Caribbean food and Middle Eastern Food and they all have quite strong spices and flavours. I think the best part about travelling is actually tasting foods from all over the world, and Vietnam has been fantastic for that ☺️
@@HenryWrideExplores Thanks for the info! I have been to England once and really enjoy the kindness of the people there.
@@HenryWrideExplores Comparing the Vietnamese restaurants in the UK with those in Vietnam, how do they differ?
Love the condiments, what would you like? Chili 🌶️ chili 🌶️ or 🌶️ 😂
Too many delicious options 🤣
If you eat rice from a plate, use spoon or fork just like Vietnamese. Vietnamese only eat rice with chopsticks from a small bowl.
Ahhh gotcha! Makes sense because of the sides of the bowl make it much easier 😀
The right way to eat is to pour some of the fish sauce into the rice to make it wet a bit. That would give you the best taste.
Mmmmm reading this is making me hungry 🤤
Price & food in DaNang nicer another places but weather will not sunny from Oct to March. Storm &flood, rainy season in oct till Dec 😂
I hope the weather gets better for Tết😊
@@HenryWrideExplores Tết is beginning time of Spring. It's warm & light sunny, rain a bit ,fresh air but very quiet in Da Nang . You just see real da nang local people in this time .
If you can add a Vietnamese translation, it will be great for people who love your videos in Vietnam because they may not understand English. Welcome to Danang
Does CC help with that? Thank you for your suggestion. It’s definitely something we will look into!
Yes, its work.
I have traveled around Europe. Most of the gym cost 20 to 25 euros per day. I will be in London for the first time in September. I hope I can get a weekly rate.
Oh nice Tony! Yeah gyms can get very expensive while travelling for sure. Check out a site called hussle that searches for gyms near you and allows you to buy day/weekly passes ☺️
nooo for the com tam u shouldnt get ur rice into the nuoc mam sauce bcs the nuoc mam sauce should be poured around the whole plate
I see, thank you!!! 😊

At 4:06: you said “ba muoi nghin “. She said, “ba muoi ngan “. It means the same but “ nghin” is a northern dialect while “ngan” is a southern dialect .
Ahhh got ya! Normally I feel like people understand my limited Vietnamese but I don’t think she was understanding me at all 😀
We're staying in the same place 🙈
Oh wow! In moon apartments or in Da Nang?
@@HenryWrideExplores Moon. Same floor and everything.
That’s crazy 😂 We filmed this a little while ago so we’re not there anymore but when we return, we will definitely be back to Moon! Say hi to Tan and Chao for us 😊
Do you need drive license for that 125cc? where did you get it in tailand?
We purchased international driving licence in the UK (we both have UK driving licence). I would recommend getting them so that you won’t have any problems if they stop you 😊
@@HenryWrideExplores Internacional driving for car not 125cc, right ? i see some videos in tailand people soped by police, because thent have 125cc in theyrs international driver license ...
You need international driving permit for 125cc, yes! Most people don’t have it but you do need it. It also has to say that you are allowed to drive a 125cc (some countries don’t allow it unless you pass a test.)

This is very useful, thank you!!
Will the local restaurants let you substitute chickem instead of pork?
We never asked for this, but there are many options with chicken 😊
You guys speak very bookish, Vietnamese don't talk that long, colloquial, Vietnamese just say give me 1 tea, give me 1 coffee etc....or just "cho 1 coffee" (give one coffee)....The lady tried to correct you, but this is only used in movies, dramas or at school to teach the kids proper maners. Tea at coffee shop is meant to wash off the coffee, so people drink tea when they finished the coffee, just like the little side soup is to wash off the palate after you're done eating. Fish sauce should be poured on the broken rice, it's not dipping sauce.
This is so interesting! They don’t teach you this on Duolingo 🤣
@@HenryWrideExplores It's wordiness even for Vietnamese to say, but you managed to say it all, you get a thumb up......Even hello "Chao" is enough, like the Italian "Ciao" ,,,,,,,,,,"Xin Chao" is too formal....but Cam on- thank you is always a polite thing to use. 😊
We will have to visit one you have sold it to us guys
It’s a really great spot! I think you guys would love it there ☺️
@HenryWrideExplores stay in Vietnam 🇻🇳 longer it’s so cheap I’ll sub if you do. Awesome Vlogs 👍🍻🍻
