I felt the same. It has its pros and cons but the pros far out weigh. The people are fabulous. The food great. The generosity and chill personality was awesome. The best place to visit

The fan running in the living space is probably pushing the cold air back into the bedroom. If you shut that off and put a portable fan in the bedroom directing the air towards the door it might work better.
Good content, that kid sold me the exact same bag for 170K 3 months ago, I use it daily as my gym bag, washed multiple times, it's still perfectly fine!
Good morning... one suggestion for your AC cooling of the area outside the bedroom would be to use a wall mounted fan above the vanity area directing cool air flow through the bedroom door (that's how I use my living room AC to cool my bedroom in Philippines. If wall mounting is a problem with the management, it would be easy enough to build a simple wooden framework stand to mount the fan to (it won't damage anything). If Da Nang is anything like the Philippines, you should be able to find a local laborer relatively inxepensive to build/install a stand for the fan that would do the job (save you the hastle of finding materials and tools for the job)

Okay on the cooling system problem your having with the two rooms. Here is just a little fix for you. set up two box fans one placed in the doorway of the bedroom. Another sm. box fan placed at the sliding glass door leading to the balcony. keeping the ceiling fans on and turning the box fans on will create a good draft of cool air flowing around the place. try also to limit sun exposure in the rooms, having a sun lit by natural sunlight can heat a room up quickly, throwing a heavy quilt or blanket over a window to block sunlight at hot times during the day will help.

The French didn't give them bread, colonists didn't believe that Vietnamese should be entitled to it. They only got access to it during the first world war. Thousands of French soldiers were called back to fight on the frontlines in Europe, so there was an over supply in Vietnamese warehouses. Over supply meant that the price had to come down, which meant the local Vietnamese could afford it. And it wasn't until the French left in the 1950s that the traditional sandwich baguette was replaced by the Bahn Mi in Saigon. I'm withdrawals from not having Bahn Mis and its only been 6 weeks since I left. I should be back to Da Nang in September.

Definitely Da Nang has new properties, actually I made new comment, because I find some other replies irrelevant from other people. You are the best CZcamsr about Da Nang.Actually i have been contacted by some agency in Danang about reviewing their apartments if i come there.People there are very friendly indeed 🎉
Hard to argue with your assessments of Da nang and Vietnam in general. For one thing the beach, from the 'marble mountain' headland southward toward Hoi An (called China beach by US soldiers) is one of the best in the world for sure. Looks stunning, is broad with plenty of stable sand and, unlike Mui Ne and Nha Trang, has a decent swell and surf. Was there myself only a couple of weeks ago. The usual north bound tourist trail from District 1 Saigon to Hanoi is nice but left wanting to spend more time.
Hold up. That massage and trip to the spa for BOTH of you only cost $24.00! WHOA! Of all things, this is what I'm really looking for, a place to spend some months at just getting back to Physical health again. Been looking all over S.E.A. and Japan. Seems like Vietnam & Thailand along with Malaysia seems to be the place to be that has the right mix of everything. I think I like the food choices in vietnam a bit better along with the less pushy stores if I need anything. Nice beach, nice weather, not too hot. Kind of like the PNW. I don't mind where I am. But it would be cool to spend a few months outside of USA and see what's out there.

if you want to have fresh air in the other room just take off that small glass on top of the glass door and fit a squarish extractor fan with louvres slanted down (;buy one from a home-depot like the ones they install in bathrooms. maybe an 8 inch one ) so that it pushes the cool breeze of the AC out and downwards to the other side Anyways nice video - Im more into Thailand but I visited Vietnam Twice but not Danang
I just found your channel, I am an Aussie, but living in the Philippines. I have lived here 12 years and it’s very similar to where you live. Very informative video Oli. Well done on great content. I do wonder what the retirement situation is over there right now. I shall be researching. It looks affordable for sure. Only the healthcare situation concerns me. In my late 50's. Oh & subscribed.
Put a fan in your bedroom, blow cool air into main room.
Thanks you guys was introducing of my country. You have a nice holiday 👍
4:27 bro that crisp
13:17 ok simply put a ventilator in front of the open bedroom door to blow the cooled air into the kitchen, should work ok. That's a lot of apartment for 240$!
Turn off the ceiling fan. It is blocking the cool air at the door of your bedroom .
That’s a sweet apartment. Can you tell me the name of the complex and how to reach out to the manager? Thank you in advance!
Have you tried a fan to blow out ac from br to living room ? And that ceiling fan..make it spin up not down.. makes a huge difference.. sucks warm air up from living area
if you want to have fresh air in the other room just take off that small glass on top of the glass door and fit a squarish extractor fan with louvres slanted down (;buy one from a home-depot like the ones they install in bathrooms. maybe an 8 inch one ) so that it pushes the cool breeze of the AC out and downwards to the other side
Anyways nice video - Im more into Thailand but I visited Vietnam Twice but not Danang
Enjoyed the video...
My girls name is Oanh!
I just found your channel, I am an Aussie, but living in the Philippines. I have lived here 12 years and it’s very similar to where you live.
The market are the same and I’m like you it’s different when you live here you will pay a little bit more because you’re a foreigner and we all expect this but like you say when they want too much, that’s what we don’t like
You just need to put a small fan blowing some of the cool air from the bedroom through the door and into the living room. Problem solved. You're welcome :)
close the door on the bedroom when its very cold open the door and put a fan in the doorway
Can you put the google maps link for the Bahn Mi place in the description please?
All these places will never be the same thanks to YT.
Would you rather keep it gated to the wider community at the economic expense of the locals?
@@OliBarrettTravel Everywhere you go now, this younger generation has their face glued to their phones. It's sad that you can't imagine a life without them. Soon they will be implanted in your brain if people like Elon Musk has anything to do with it. Then, they will have total control over you, but you young ones can't see it.
True, danang was ok 10 years ago, now it's awful and has become vietscam
@@OliBarrettTravelyes, prices have shot up for them and tourism is a tiny part of Vietnam economy
@@OliBarrettTravel yes absolutely, it's already killed it since 2015
Put a fan in the bedroom pointing towards the glass door , that will maybe blow the cold air into the other room
The flow on effect of CZcamsrs going around and saying 'how cheap everything is' is that prices rise. Appreciate your time and insights though.
Yep. But they won’t rise right away.
Vietnam is not that cheap although cheaper. The only great thing about that country are s the fruits and the food. It is dirty rotten hell hole with a rotten government, just my two cents.

When I was in your age i was like 76 kilo and could eat anything and my weight did not change until i turned 31 then I it suddenly was 86 and everything i ate was gaining on me, then past 90 etc so enjoy it while you can :)
Hi Mate
Can I ask who you rented the scooter off , so I can try them out . Cheers
Electric fan in front of the AC pointed at the (open) door might do the trick
I love your video and I need to visit Vietnam ❤
Greetings Oli, your videos have inspired me to visit Da Nang! Your new CZcams friend here # 7.11K+👆🔔
thanks for adding me to your circle of support.
Amazing! You will love it here
Great video! Loved Da Nang when I visited in May
Floor fan to push cold air through the bedroom door.
I already tried that, it seemed to make a slight different but not much 🥵
@@OliBarrettTravel actually a portable air conditioner unit should sort you out on the warmest days. Exhaust out to balcony. Cheers!
