    Thank you for your honest review. I've welded for almost 20 years and just wanted something reliable for the house and you just made my mind up. I love a good hard working machine as I tend to stretch them to the max after working in the field for so long.

    I have the weld pak 180i mp dv. I have been looking for a better mig gun for it. Would the Lincoln magnum pro 100L k4528-1-8 (8 pin) work for the weld pak 180i? It fits the 140mp power mig. I’m just not sure about the connection that plugs into the brass terminal where the wire feeds into the gun. They seem to be different on most guns.

    • @LincolnElectricRetail
      @LincolnElectricRetail  Před 8 dny

      Thanks for your purchase! Here's info from the operator's manual pertaining to generators:
      The machine is designed to operate on engine driven generators as long as the auxiliary can supply adequate voltage, frequency and power as indicated in the “Technical Specification” Installation Section of this manual. The auxiliary supply of the generator must also meet the following conditions:
      Frequency: 60 Hz
      RMS voltage of the AC waveform: 90-250 V; Out of this range will trigger undervoltage and overvoltage protections.
      Generator Minimum 3 kW (120VAC) 6kW (230VAC)
      It is important to check these conditions because many engine driven generators produce high voltage spikes. Operation of this machine with engine driven generators not conforming to these conditions is not recommend and may damage the machine and is also NOT covered by warranty.
      You can view the owner's manual here:
      lincolnelectricretail.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Weld-Pak-180i-MP-DV-Owners-Manual.pdf
