TRIP REPORT | Never Seen Anything So Amazing! | Amsterdam to Innsbruck | Transavia Boeing 737

- Transavia Trip Report flying from Amsterdam to Innsbruck onboard one of the Transavia Boeing 737 on a perfect late-winter morning.
The most amazing flight of my life. That's how I can describe this first flight to Innsbruck (Austria) in the very heart of the Alps. The approach to Innsbruck airport was perfect with the best weather possible! Not a single cloud and no turbulence.
It is, by far, the most beautiful approach I have ever seen!
In lots of OnBoardHD videos, we see the Alps from cruise level. This time we descended into them, landing in the very middle! To see how the mountains are getting higher and higher over the plane is something I'd never experienced before. Everybody that loves planes should fly, at least once, to Innsbruck airport.
Besides that, the flight was pretty standard. We had a 1-hour delay in Amsterdam due to a failure of the Transavia check-in system at the airport. However, I must say that for the light conditions, that hour delay was perfect! Besides that, the flight with Transavia was very comfortable with a very nice crew.

La verdad es que antes de embarcar ya había mirado el reporte meteorológico del aeropuerto y había mirado las imágenes de satélite Metesat y vi que Europa estaba toda cubierta hasta los Alpes. Eso me permitió desayunar con calma y prepararme para la parte que era la más importante jeje

Well I think the Transavia cabin is strange, too much green. I'm looking forward to the Delta flight. The alps with the snow are really fantastic. I think the airport of Innsbruck has a very special view to the mountains.

Las imágenes del vídeo son preciosas y estoy totalmente seguro que se acercan muy poco a lo abrumador de ver los Alpes como tú las has visto.
Por otra parte creo que aprender a volar allí tiene que darte muchas tablas, y no tiene que ser nada sencilla la aproximación allí.

Hey Lucas! So glad that you finally made it to Innsbruck!!! Hope it was well worth the wait. Have flown in and out of there so many times myself, I recognise all of the places on your film. I can recommend a boat trip on the Achensee if you go back again! So many things to do and see in and around Innsbruck and am looking forward to going back in September,

Thanks a lot, Mark! Let me tell you that this is the beginning of totally new destinations and airlines on the channel. In the next months, we'll have a lot of flights to/from and inside the US for example. As soon as Asia will reopen from Covid restrictions, I'll try to fly there as well.

INN approach as it's best!
I like HV, they have a good network to some very interesting destinations especially in winter season in Europe (mainly from AMS/RTM)

Last Summer i was at 12 in the night at airside Schiphol my flight was leaving at 4 in the midday i had 14 hours at airside i was like the only person betwee 12 and 4 went plane spotting for 14 hours saw the sun coming up it was amazing best night i ever had
