    Why didn't you use the existing wires to solder / connect the new microphone?
    I actually wanted to do just that but I noticed the wires have some sort of resistor on them and that messes the impedance of the microphone?
    Do you have any idea what can be along the original wires that has a resistance once the original mic is removed?

      It's been a long time but I think that when we tried to solder it didn't sound as clear as our mic.

    Did you ever get a part number for those metal clips, or is it possible to reuse them?

      They can be reused as long as you do not damage them.

    I just wanna ask, after the installation all i have to do is plug it in through the AUX whole or trough the radio it self ??

    • @Enfig
      @Enfig  Před rokem

      The radio should have a mic hole.

    Why not make a microphone that replaces the original including the existing connection?

      This microphone was originally designed for 1999-2015 Volkswagens. Most of them did not have bluetooth installed just the location. We are looking into the factory wiring in 2016+ Volkswagens.

      Yes. Does your console look different?

    Doesn’t this work for a 2011 Jetta ?

    • @Enfig
      @Enfig  Před 2 lety

      Yes it works for many different cars. But the 2016+ Jetta uses a different radio harness that is why we made a video for those years.

      It might but we do not have the radio replacement parts for sale yet so I'm not sure.

    When installing this, it will work when using apple CarPlay or Bluetooth connection?

    • @Enfig
      @Enfig  Před 2 lety

      Yes its just a mic. So if the radio has CarPlay or Bluetooth then this mic can be used with it.
