    Good job Marty,
    I made one using the bulb from a blood pressure tester that was discarded ; to pump up the pressure. Thank you for your tutorial, and all the best from New Rochelle N.Y.

    update for 2022 prices: I sourced everything from Home Depot yesterday and it came to $40.88 + tax, with the 2 most expensive bits being the brass t-fitting and the 100PSI guage. And I found the bicycle pumps around the garage were all faulty, so I ended up ordering one of those too.
    oh, and don't try to use use the air filler attached to a compressor. Don't ask me how I know. 🙂
    but as soon as the new bicycle pump arrives, I'm looking forward to giving this a try!
    Thanks!

    They saw your video. I am planning on going to school at Martins sometime this year next month or so. You must live around Richland county area . I live in the awesome driftless area as well. Viola can't wait to go fly In my 40s and been saving for some time. But camping paramotoring sounds so cool cross country flight's. Never been flying but so knowing how this can be so addicting.

    What do you use to adapt the 1/4 inch hose to the smaller carb fuel inlet?

    • @tookey2249
      @tookey2249 Před 2 lety +1

      I would just use a hose clamp to make the connection tight if you have a smaller inlet

    Why did you not just use you pump gauge to show the pressure. I understand it would not be as accurate but it will still show you enough info to adjust it. That way you only need valve to tubing mod

    • @MartyG144
      @MartyG144  Před 5 lety +1

      Just Harry Johnson I thought about that, but the gauge on mine is so jumpy and inaccurate, it wouldn't do the job. Maybe if you had a high end pump, that would work, but I don't trust the gauge on mine.

      @@MartyG144 yeah that makes sense. I ordered my one but there are no specs on the engine about the pop off pressure so Its down to trial and error for me lol

      @@justharryjohnson7250 What motor do you have? Also, is there a model number stamped on your carb? That would be helpful in finding the spec.

      @@MartyG144 hi it's a vittorazi fly evo 2 with a walbro wb32 carb. If that's any help. If you do off hand know the pressure that would be very helpful 😁

      @MartyG144  Před 5 lety +1

      Just Harry Johnson 10-12 psi is what you're looking for on a WB32

      Gary Popov every hardware store should have these parts. Home depot, true value, Ace, etc.

    Sorry for my ignorance. But what is this used for?

    • @MartyG144
      @MartyG144  Před 5 lety +1

      Chan Maneesilasan This is used when adjusting the spring in a diaphragm style carburetor. The strength of the spring controls how much pressure it takes to let fuel into the carburetor. This gauge allows you to make final adjustments to the length of the spring by measuring the "pop off" pressure.
