School students do such projects in India. Many such small satellites from school students were sent to earth's orbit by ISRO. Only difference is this is sent to moon's orbit by Chinese mission. But good first step. Please don't think that your next mission will be independent and as big as Indian or other space missions.
Space programs are long and grueling process and needs lot of money. With the current economic situation in Pakistan, things are bound to move extremely slow.

Big deal. Any country or company can send their satellite to outer space using various launching stations. We hv chosen Chinese launching station. The achievement would have been if Pakistan had launched the satellite from its own launching station like what India did a year ago.
