Hi everyone, I hope you enjoy this video on this great market in Riyadh. What are your favorite things to see and do in Saudi Arabia? I hope to be back in KSA soon again when traveling is safe again. Blessed day to all of you!
I think the tourists have gone to the known places but the things that can be presented as something new .. Visit the Office of Introducing Islam to present suspicions and questions about Islam so that your viewers benefit from learning about the philosophy of Islam.
Also visit the stables of the Arabian horses, camel market and wildlife camps in the endangered Arabian Peninsula
The University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud contains the Museum of Islamic Sciences, the Hijab Market and Souq Al-Bujairi ... These things I think no one has tried
I have sent you a great guide in cultural, religious, social, civilizational and political affairs in your previous passage
This site distributes free books on Arab and Islamic philosophy as well

Welcome to Riyadh hope u enjoyed your time.. but I noticed when I watch such vlogs in Saudi Arabia, there are always a confirmation about safeness.. off course it's safe Alhamdulellah.. I've see americans coming to these old markets from the nineties when i was little and I remember a grin on their faces and everybody were friendly.
Nora Makeup I agree with you. Unfortunately, there is a misconception in the world about “unusual” travel destinations. Perhaps it is also a certain presentation in the media. This is not only the case for Saudi Arabia but also many other countries in Africa, the Middle East and elsewhere. It’s obviously false and hopefully my vlogs can help to give a different perspective.

This heritage market is one of the most beautiful markets in the world. You can find heritage items for sale that are more than 1,000 years old! This market is a real treasure that not many people know about
That’s true! It’s a lovely market and situated next to important historical monuments
its true miswak is really good i see different after first use
I agree, it really is 👍
So usually when an outsider come those seller take advantage of you guys, so be careful because if you Saudia they won't try to take advantage of you so please always go to the market with the locals so you can get them cheaper.

We love you. All of them. From across the world we will not give you to. Oud and incense. Perfumes and love. your brother. from Saudi Arabia
I want to go there.
I watched so much of perfumes I started literally smelling perfume hahaha. Yes swords are used for ceremonies now. And I live in UAE 50 riyal for that small bottle might be the cheapest and not the best quality. and of course for clothes, what we wear is quite expensive too that's why we only buy them 3 or 4 times a year. We usually get new clothes after Ramadan to celebrate eid.
My Me Thank you so much for watching and your insights! I have another video on a different market in Riyadh coming up today which I hope you will like too. Greetings to UAE 💚
@@januslog ofc ! Saudi is our neighbor's, we are all arabs we have so much in common. Thats why I say that knowning its the same there. The diffrences are really small though. And I wouldnt speak of sth I dont know. Ill check out ur new video. And I am glad Saudi is finally seen the way we see it ♡ thank you for shedding some light on how they really are. I hope you get a Saudi guide to help u in ur trip too!
My Me Thank you again 👍🏻. It’s such a great part of the world and I hope I get to go back soon again inshallah
@@januslog its your home and we are your guests man. We always say, if the ground doesnt carry you our eyes will.
what i noticed that the most sellers are not from saudi arabia, i hope one day to visit the medinah and mecca inshallah
Salam to ALADIN ❤️🤲🏻🙏🏻😊

I loved seeing the Oudh, I use it all the time as it is so much better than aerosols. I thought you had to haggle the price a bit?
Yes, I was able to negotiate a bit 😊👍🏻
Nice its me my brother

Muhammad peace and prayers be upon him liked the Musk perfume.
The wood in Indonesia is called "Gaharu wood" the price varies depending on the quality. if you buy it directly from the first person maybe it will be cheap.
Thank you for the tip 👍😊

Hi! Traveling to KSA in two days. Big thanks for your KSA videoes. Have seen them many times now. Question; in the markets, how hard is the bargin? If the vendor says 100 SAR, what would be a more correct price?
Thank you very much Tobias. I’m sure you will enjoy KSA as much as I did. It’s difficult to generalize market prices as every market and vendor is different. Margins are anywhere between 10% and 30%. The best way to find out about prices in any traditional market in the world is to walk away from an offer. If they come after you, you know the deal it’s still attractive for them. If they let you go, your offer was probably too low.
I hope you have a great time in Saudi Arabia. If you want to come again I advise you to visit Al-Ula, or the south of Saudi Arabia for the historic touring.
For the places that have a beautiful atmosphere and nature go to Abha, Al-taif, also Tabouk.
If you want to visit Jeddah or Riyadh you have to come at season of the city which you want to visit,
search about it
Faisal Faisal Thank you very much. Yes, I hope I can visit those places next time I come and once the pandemic is over inshallah.
The sword is not sharp and is not made of good materials but only they add some gold As a shape because it's used for celebrations only.
I hope you enjoyed your trip.
May God accept your prayers 😇🤲
Hello ..concerning the Bisht prices and why they are pricey they are hand made (yarn ,fabric, sewing )the yarn is made from wool or camel hair this process takes about a month to prepare the yarn and then one week to knit it ,some well made Bisht may cost 6000$ or higher
Thank you so much for sharing 👍🙏
Oud prices are also expensive, this is the real price at 0:30
P62 ـ thank you. That’s great to know. Yes, for me it was the first time I learned about Oud
januslog some of them cost 20-40 thousand riyal, but that type is just for billionaires 😂
Sumbtch I can imagine. They literally will burn through cash lol 😂
januslog lol 😂
januslog burn it to smell heavenly ,better than drink money to smell alcohol
So are you still in Saudi or you’ve already left? Cuz almost everything is shut down now due to the coronavirus outbreak
العتيبي - بني أمية I’ve left already. But hope to be back once this whole situation is over inshallah

🌸I hope you learn Arabic it is very beautiful..
Menderes Al shehri inshallah!
Just wondering what that wood smells like? Is it like essential oil kind of smell?
Ida Abu Bakar Yes, that’s a good comparison. There are perfumed and plain kinds.
if you still on ksa you can visit (faifa) you can search it in youtube
Copy this on youtube جبال فيفاء -وادي لجب
Thank you very much. I will definitely check it out. I’m now back in the US due to the current pandemic crisis. But I hope I will be able to come back to KSA soon again inshallah
0:17 I can’t really tell because I have to smell it first to see whether it’s high or low quality but generally speaking 50 riyals for that bottle is not bad
iik7lx K Ok thank you, very good to know. I had bought the same (or similar?) one from another vendor at the market for SAR25. Great stuff 👍🏻😊
@@januslog The price of incense and perfumes vary greatly and for a good reason; you can find two similar smells but with a big price gap and that's because one would literally stick around for days and the other for hours. So I would personally say that perfumes are the one place you wanna splurge a little.
Come qatar I will assist you. ❤️
Thank you. I hope I will be able to visit Qatar soon inshallah
It's really hard to know if you are being given a reasonable price with Bishts if you are not a local, put the prices can range from 20 to 2000 dollars. Typically, the ones that are worn by the VIP's are hand made by local experts, while the cheap ones are mass produced with low quality materials. Locals can tell the difference.
Guess Who thank you. Yes, I noticed the huge variety in prices. Seems like the average is somewhere at around $100 but I could tell that some are really for the super rich :)
I will be visiting Riyadh next week for the first time!
Is it easy to find a taxi on the road?
Are they expensive?
Where can I find the BEST EXCHANGE OFFICES?With the best rates?
Are there pedestrian shopping areas? Thank you!❤
You can definitely find taxis but I find the best way to get around is Uber. Not sure about exchange offices. You can try the airport but I find using ATMs to be the best way to get local currency. There are plenty of malls and open air shopping areas (like the one shown in the video) but given the summer temperatures you may want to opt for the malls
you have to know how to bargain in Medina and Mecca. things at times are way over priced. so, you have to do all possible due diligence to get them lower.
I want to know what you went home with..maybe the stuffed lion? They seem to be so friendly…how are they with women shoppers?
Haha, I didn’t get the stuffed animals 😅. I got some sandals, perfume, local long shirt and a few other small items. There are plenty of female shoppers and, while I’m obviously not one of them, I had the impression the shop keepers all very very polite and friendly with any gender

Thank you very much 🙏
