I love how he’s managed to keep his accent after all these years
Ramin Karimloo is one of our favorites. He was in Georgetown, Texas for a special performance for high school kids in 2011. My daughter was able to meet him, then we attended his concert that evening. Super nice guy, blessed with an incredible voice.
He was nice?
As an Iranian who is suffering from revolution of 79, I appreciate Ramin and his Family and I feel proud of him as a strong Iranian singer. Iran had great singers like him and he is following them. Go on Ramin! I hope one day I'll see you in Iran singing! When our country is free at last!
Ramin Karimloo's story at the end of how he was drawn to the theater is lovely, and he tells it beautifully. Best wishes to him and the Funny Girl company for a genuine success on Broadway!
Ramin!!!!!!! WHAT A VOICE!!!!!!! I hope he gets to sing a lot to show off that voice. His charism alone is so magical.
Especially with Ramin Karimloo.
Saw Ramin in Love Never Dies in London. A young legend
He is a brilliant singer and actor....I have followed his career for years and he is so deserving of his success.
I am too excited for words. It’ll actually be my fifth time seeing Ramin and I’ll see Beanie and omigod I’m so excited!!
He needs a show written just for him. (Yes, Love Never Dies but that sucked. Twice) he was great in Les Miserables. But he was underused in Anastasia and he’ll be underused in Funny Girl
I just became his fan a few months ago because I watched his brilliant performance in POTO 25th. He’s amazing. Not knowing him very much, is he a big star in Broadway?
@@lael8119 he's a big star more in London, where he's based.
@@lael8119 yes
I wonder why they didn't talk about the challenges of performing opposite a lead who can't sing?
skipped school just to see a musical????
thats rad
I love him.
@@camfam611 did you have a stroke?
Nicky Arnstein, Nicky Arnstein, Nicky Arnstein...what a beautiful, beautiful name!!!
3 of the 4 Nick Arnsteins were/are Middle Eastern: Johnny Desmond who replaced Sidney Chaplin in the original B'way show was Lebanese, Omar Shariff, Egyptian and now Ramin, Iranian.
Loved watching Ramon in Holby City.
can’t wait to see the show april 15th!!!
Seeing this April 23. Can’t wait
'handsome dudes like you"
This is awesome!!!!!
I would love to see this.
Ramin Karimloo's charisma is off the charts; I have no doubt he will be amazing in the role.
Never saw Beanie in my life in anything...just know she is some actor's sister.
ME TOO! PHANTOM OF THE OPERA MADE ME WANT TO GO TO BROADWAY! IT WAS MAGICAL FIRST WATCHING HIS PHANTOM AND SIERRA'S CHRISTINE.
Esse homem é tudo.
I'll be very surprise if Beanie Feldstein. can pull it off. She has tough act to follow.
Not a fan. She sings off key at times and I see Jonah hill her brother on stage lol need a more experienced actress
He’s amazing
Ramin always looks great, but Paul looks amazing!
😍😍😍😍
Not a fan of the new script. Storyline is stripped down
Poor Ramin--starring opposite the most talented girl in small town, high school theatre.
Saw the show Sunday he was amazing. I’m not a fan of beanie. Sing on key please. How did she get the part??? He really looks like he loves her. Wow. Great acting. His voice is like butter!
Paul Wontorek...do better.
Beanie Feldstein is too heavy to be Fanny Brice.
Bullshit. Fanny is meant to look like a human being, not like a sex symbol. That’s the entire point.
@@laurenconrad1799 there are fat human beings in this world. But Fanny Brice was not one of them.
I just think she’s miscast in general.
I completely agree. Clearly Lauren Conrad protests clearly indicate she don't know who Fanny Brice is. No, she was no sex symbol, but she as a waif of a girl, skinny with funny looks, and her entire career was based on her making fun of the way she looked and being Jewish. The self deprecating humour of Fanny Brice worked in "Funny Girl" with Streisand in the role, (once again no sex symbol, but with slightly peculiar looks), but with Beanie Feldstein in the role, all the self deprecating jokes that Fanny makes about herself and her looks will be perceived as "Fat Jokes". I love Beanie Feldstein, a great talent, amazing voice, but she is wrong for the role of Fanny Brice.
@@adlegacy56 You are aware that the musical isn’t an exact replica of Fanny Brice’s life, right? Since a lot of it is fiction, I see no reason why they need an actress who is a Fanny Brice lookalike.
Gads. i hope his diction is better onstage....
I think since he’s had major roles in every theater musical for the last 20 years all over the world perhaps he will do just fine you evidently are not familiar with him. You could begin with the 25th anniversary of phantom of the opera at Royal Albert Hall as well as the 25th anniversary of Les Miserables in London at the O2 Arena… not to mention he is known all over the world has played Judas in Jesus Christ superstar in Japan in South Korea and has playedChe in Evita and Chris in Miss Saigon. To mention just a few!
I forgot a few…. Anatoly in Chess. Gleb in Anastasia. Joe Gillis in Sunset Blvd. Dr Zhivago in the musical. Archibald Craven in the 25th Anniversary of Secret Garden. He plays guitar banjo and piano and has written a few songs and has several albums. Need I go on?
His diction in performance is perfect. Also in singing. Listen to " Till I Hear You Sing." He moves effortlessly between British. Canadian and American accents.
His accent is a unique blend, but I think his r’s are from the area in Ontario he is from, almost an Irish r.

Didn't he also do Miss Saigon?
