I like the in depth description, breakdown and details. Also the use of timestamps is so underappreciated by some. Thank you for adding time stamps to everything. Been trying to make an assassin build work so this is just the video I needed.
Enjoy my dude. I've heard the build link doesn't work. I will investigate and edit it if I can tomorrow
Really glad to have you appreciate my work
This has been my build on my zealot for a while, glad to see it getting recognition!
I'm glad to see the build gets the robots approval. Definitely agree on the curio change, I did the same. 👍
I run a similar build I have dubbed Burn Bleed Backstab build, very similar but the focus is on fire grenades instead of throwing knives and stacking bleed crits. Solid choice on those talents.
Really like the way you use the gun sights to aim your knives - very cool
Yeah it's a good technique haha
@@RealAsianRobotI’m gonna start using my sights. I was so used to the way warzone’s throwing knives let you press the button to hold the knife up to aim it😮, then throws it when you release.
@@RealAsianRobotthe easiest is actually just to go in the settings and add the small center screen dot!
It's very small and will save precious time throwing that knife exactly where you want :)
@@juve1196 I already have that, I just prefer using the gun for extra accuracy (and surgical)
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but if you take the rend on weakspot blessing for the combat knife, you can actually get the bonus with the throwing knives on zealot. Meaning you can actually melt armored enemies with the throwing knives. Not sure if its a bug or what, but thought I'd mention this. Cheers.
EDIT: I also would like to point out, have you tried flesh tearer over lacerate? I feel as if this would be better due to the crit chance you have and applying overall more bleed stacks than lacerate IV(4 with lacerate vs 7 on flesh tearer III). Just feel as if you're missing out on DPS/damage aiming for body shots with lacerate over weakspot hits and still applying bleed with crit (Which should be very high). Thanks.
Is this verified? That’s incredible!
Jep I use it all the time. You can one shot a crusher with 5 stacks of uncanny strike and then you go invis and throw a knife at the crushers head for a one hit kill. If you time your throw with the invis activation you can throw 2 per invis so 2 crushers get one hit.
Also uncanny strikes makes the bleed do a lot of damage to all flak armoured units including mauler rager and crusher.
I tested it in meat grinder, so it worked for me idk.@@CalAndAly
This build focuses on maxing crits and crit damage. Flesh tearer could work too, but lacerate starts the stack immediately on things that will probably die after the second hit, bleed damage is more of a bonus for this build. It focuses on max crit chance and crit hit bonuses. Uncanny strike is a good blessing, but it doesn't synergize in the same way. It all comes down to your playstyle. Flesh tearer and uncanny would make a good build or even uncanny and precognition, I know cause I've used it, and if that works better for you by all means, use it. This build focuses on crits and dodge for its bonuses, but whatever let's you slay the best in the name of the emperor is the build you should use!
Oh man the more I use this build the better it gets. This is solidddddd
Enjoy my friend, glad to see folks loving Darktide
Thanks for the tips . I enjoy your darktide content. Tested some of your builds, 🤘
Thanks for enjoying! I'm glad to see people still playing this game :D
I haven’t yet made a pskyer build I feel my play style is more run and gun. But I’m going to level 30 all of them
Ayyy it's here, cooking as always
Love the happy dance at the end
thankx Sean and Robo .. i will try XD
Whats your thoughts on going inexroable judgement with this?
this build slaps with most weapons especially the Turtolsky Mk VI Heavy Sword
Enjoy!
After playing with infiltrate i really hate how short the duration on shroudfield is but i guess theres probably ways to get it back quickly that dont involve exploits.
I love infiltrate because I feel I can get more benefits out of it especially when popping out of it
0:20 humble
So when you explained Thy Wrath be Swift (enemies can't stun you perk), am I correct in understanding that the stagger you normally receive from melee gives you some form of invulnerability frames while recovering, and that this perk, while useful, will allow you to get hit multiple times at once?
There are NO invulnerability frames. However, you can be knocked back slightly, which can stop chain whacking lol. Basically you get pushed back whenever attacked (but have no i-frames).
When you have Thy Wrath Be Swift, this doesn't happen, so if you're in a horde and in range of every single poxwalker melee. You insta die lol
How does Blazing Piety compare to Momentum? Rather than going across the tree to get Duelist I've been taking Momentum as capstone along with the talent that reduces ability cool down on a backstab kill, and crossing over to get Invocation of Death to get max ability uptime.
Up to you really. Tbh I haven't played Darktide in months. No players to stream too (barely 4 to 7k) and not much viewership.
Since I do this full time as a job, I'm mostly on Helldivers 2 right now
@@RealAsianRobot Yeah I was late to the party 😅 Just got my Zealot up to level 30 so taking my time to explore all the combinations.
Would mercy killer work instead of lacerate? Since i rolled t4 precognition n still have 2 things i can change im wondering if i should change mercy killer to lacerate n then one of the perks or keep mercy but change both perks
Lacerate helps set up the bleeding conditions to increase critical on target, I'd say lacerate is mandatory or fleshtearer (bleeding on critical) as a secondary choice. Your second blessing is more flexible imo.
With so much dodges i am kinda wondering why you didnt take the 15% toughness regen on dodge node but i gues you dont need it?
Oh and just a technical question unrelated to this build. Does toughnessregen speed also increase stuff like "regen x% toughness while within 5 meters of at least 3 enemies"?
Toughness regen ONLY affects the regeneration of Toughness in coherency with your allies. Nothing else is affected. So it basically helps you get in the fight faster around your allies after a short cover period.
As for the 15% Toughness regeneration on dodge. You can absolutely take that as an option. I chose not to use it because the way it registers is sometimes a little bit buggy. Because even when I dodge (and I know I dodged the attack) it doesn't count lol. It has to be a nearly perfect dodge to regen which can be problematic to trigger as the invulnerability frame for the dodge itself is longer than the perfect dodge window. So it gives me some issues as I sort of "pre-dodge" some attacks which means I don't get the actual regen
@@RealAsianRobot ah i love it when skillchoice is dependent on bugs instead of intended gamedesign but it is what it is. thx for the clarification.
build link dosen't work
Use bolter instead of the revolver since the knifes cover the revolvers role already there is no need for it. The bolter one clips weaker monstrosities if you choose the 2 nodes in the top middle tree. And ofc amazing damage vs normal monstrosities aswell. I confidently clutch aurics with this. It also serves a good counter vs bulwarks since you ads and one hit their shield then hipfire for 2 bullet burst to kill them. 3 bullets for a bulwark. The revolver gives nothing for a bulwark. Also try taking the 15% toughness on dodge talent this is by far the highest toughness income for zealot Its 30% toughness a second since you are dodging non stop!
I dont usually call for this kind of stuff, because I love a good fun power fantasy build... but this kind of needs to be reigned back because as a build guide content creator you can recommend they work with the group but there's no way to guarantee anyone will do that when they can just go out and John Wick everything as a power fantasy. It's great for the zealot player if they're competent, but there's two things to consider.
1) not every player is competent; and then they die now we're out a body and their benefits to the group for things like coherency and then we gotta either save them or fight to free them from capture.
2) often times they'll run from group and aggro shit that falls back on the group as they run past it and adds stress to a group already fighting for their life, and theyre far enough away that we dont get their coherency benefits still.
I agree with you, BUT I am also going to say that it would be dishonest of me NOT to share a build that has been proven to work.
My rule is that any build that CAN pass the 75% win-rate test will be showcased irrespective of whether it is ideal for the player base or not, because it would be unfair otherwise. So yeah, that's why I had to put it out. It is very good and honestly it is hugely used by many competent players.
@@RealAsianRobotI thought you did a good job of talking about how “with great power comes great responsibility” haha. There’s definitely disclaimer that should come with this vid and you did that multiple times and well. I really liked how you talked about staying with your team unless there’s an opportunity to make a play that would help the team, like going forward and taking out an enemy gun line or scouting a threat. Eliminate the threat and join back up. That’s the strength of the build, not lone wolf-ing it. The more creators like you talk about that responsibility, hopefully the more the player base will grow in their self awareness in game.
The varlets guy made a build guide for this as well and at least he had an immediate disclaimer to not use this if you dont plan to play with the team..
This needs to be changed by fatshark asap. Otherwise we're gonna have 9/10 lobbies failed/filled with knife users, not just zealots.
You don't need to play with a team, a dagger zealot spawned into a mission as we were wiping on damnation, ran past us, refused to ress and soloed the boss, the build is that strong (though it was a guy with 800+ levels on zealot)
pog
Seems a bit meh
Up to you lol, it works great as per stream :D
