    As a zealot main and relatively new player, the extra in depth responses and reasoning behind all of your build choices have gone a long way in helping me understand the game so much better than a ton of guides out there that simply tell you how to stat items and how to allocate talent points. Keep up the good work, here's a like and a subscribe!

      I am also new to the game. Really great tree. I kept trying to make the reload buff work for that class. "Emperors Bullet" for impact strength and attack and the reload speed from kills doesn't seem to be worthwhile even with an agrippina revolver with the very fast fire rate when ADSing/alt firing. Just doesn't work with the other skills I took that virtually match this tree.

    Fan fact but most probably known by this point, when you attack the enemy with a revved heavy attack and activate fury of the faithful while it shreds through the enemy,it will deal, more damage than usual. As always man great built for the zealot. Keep up the good work.

    The thing that i think really ties this build together is having a rank 4 Shred on the Tigrus. It narrows the gap with Blazing Piety, and with the vast attack speed buffs you get, you could make 15 attacks with this build compared to the 10 youd make with Blazing Piety, giving more chances of having crits proc. Plus, Piety doesnt give the large damage reduction OR damage dealing increases you get from Martyrdom.
    Martyrdom was my favourite build pre-rework, and its once again become my favourite post rework.

    Picked this game up in the weekend and glad to see the perks I've invested in are heading towards this build with the only variation being I went for the throwing daggers instead of the stun grenades for more big single target damage. Will see how viable they are late game, but at the moment I'm liking them for the ability to 1 tap most elite enemies

    Created a similar build a while back but going:
    Duellist+
    Blazing piety > Fury rising > righteus warrior
    This gives you insane crit chance and crit damage wich goes completely out of control when you have some enemy density leading to:
    Endless crits > endless bleeds > endless ability cooldown
    =
    New fury of the faitfull every 1-3 seconds depending on how many enemies you are hitting at the same time
    I have been stuck in the middle of hordes with maniacs and maulers/crushers (do have to dodge them a bit) and not taken any damage because im constantly stunning and recharging my toughness with infinate charges

    I don't usually like the wound build zealots, but this one has served me well so far in the few games I've used it. I've not been able to find a great revolver for my zealot yet, unfortunately, but the one I do have has glory hunter 3 on it, and I find it works pretty well for regenerating an extra bit of toughness in a pinch.

    I finally finished my unlimited stealth( kinda in a sense ) zealot build that’s immune to ranged dmg ( immune while sprinting ) it’s a fun build I run a combat knife and infantry auto gun with all +1 wounds and have ability regen on all plus toughness regen.
    I run behind hoards killing off gunners and elites going in and out invis constantly since I can get invis back instantly but you have to have a good team for it to work knowing they can handle brunt of the hoard.
    If one goes down I just get them up easy.
    But the build is thin glass unless your actually good combat and strategy working the hoards.
    It not my favorite zealot build though.

    • @VoidDustMuffin
      @VoidDustMuffin Před 8 měsíci

      You can run it if you prefer but it's a little redundant. Fury of the Faithful(the charge ability) already gives you a 100% crit chance to start encounters off and swinging your weapon you're building up crit. And one thing Briggso didn't mention is that Zealot has a hidden base 5% crit chance, so his build give up to 55% total crit chance per hit. Now, if you want even higher crit, you can swap martyrdom for Blazing Piety, the keystone on the left side, which can get you an additional 25% crit. That's the one I use alongside a knife with Mercy Killer and Flesh Tearer. It's effective as well but be careful to stay near your team. High speed and high damage are a hell of a drug, and many a knife zealot has thrown a match because they ran ahead and spawned a monstrosity when their squad is still pinned by 11 gunners in the previous room.

      Yes, we do, but heres the thing. With this build, you can still get 57.5% crit chance with the nodes and a rank 4 Shred, 62.5% if you rolled crit chance on the Eviscerator. While the extra 25% you get from Blazing Piety is 'nice' taking you up to 82-87% crit chance, thats ALL you get from it.
      With 6 martyrdom stacks, you get a whopping 48% more base damage, 24% extra attack speed, AND 30% toughness damage reduction.
      With the extra attack speed, youll also be able to say make 13 attacks in the same amount of time a Blazing Piety build would make 10 attacks, giving more chances to proc crits all on top of having a flat higher base damage number for those crits to feed off of. Lets use my Eviscerator for example. not taking armour into account, at 80% damage itll do 289 on a light attack Last i heard, the Eviscerators crit damage modifier was 33%, which means a Blazing Piety build would do 384 damage on a standard crit. The Martyrdom build, increasing its base damage to 428, will deal 568 on a crit. The extra attack speed also closes the gap between attacks to crit cahnce per hit, 8 out of 10 hits, and 8 (rounded up) out of 13 hits.
      Piety = 8/10 attacks could be crits = 428 x 8 = 3424
      Martyr = 8/13 attacks could be crits = 568 x 8 = 4544
      Having such low health is risky, yes, but overall the build does a lot more damage than a Piety build would. Piety would be better used with an axe or dagger

    • @effive7817
      @effive7817 Před 8 měsíci

      @@cyanide7270"the nodes" Theres one crit chance node on the entire Zealot tree, ingoring Keystone: the 10-30% crit chance on hit on bleeding enemy (Scourge). Unfortunately, the Eviscerator and this build suffers from success, the dead enemy you just one shot doesn't count as bleeding. And the enemy you 2shot only counts if your first hit was a crit, which if you crit it first hit...it might just 1shot it.... This makes 25% from base zealot and shred much, much more consistent than other 30%(Scourge).
      Ignoring special attack, the only thing you're going to be hitting 10 times and isn't dead are crushers(depending) monstrosities, and assassination bosses. Crushers depending on whether or not you're heavy attacking. Light attacking crushers can be nice since it keeps you mobile, especially when there is a whole damn squad of them, theres value in doing that if you're prioritizing safety.
      Its generally better to balance your assessments not just on best-case scenario comparisons, but on between damage numbers, hits to kill, and averages. Depending on the quality of your eviscerator, you'll generally only "need" a few stacks to one shot a lot of things you'd 2shot, and cutting down ogryns/mutants,ragers in a less swing or two is pretty comfortable.
      The primary value in matyrdom eviscerator is the attack speed, since, in my experience, the blazing piety hits-to-kill is very similar if you aren't comparing max/zero-stacks matyrdom. Which sure, if you're good enough at the game to purposely lower yourself to 1 wound and just win everytime, go for it, but I'm normal. Comparing 2-4 stacks of Matyrdom with Piety(which is basically 100% uptime) is a very similar number of hits to kill on average. The biggest difference is the matyrdom attack speed.
      If i still need 1-3 hits to kill something, hitting it faster means it dies faster.
      Piety also applies to ranged damage, so if your friend is a Veteran main and you like to preach Dakka while you eviscerate, its good there too.
